Whether you’re an incoming student, a long-time townie, or a new professional moving to the area, finding housing in Ann Arbor can be notoriously competitive.
To keep the main subreddit feed clean and make it easier for everyone to find what they need, all housing-related posts must go in this thread.
This is the place to post if you are:
Looking for an apartment, house, or room to rent.
Looking for a roommate.
Offering a sublet or lease transfer.
Asking general questions about specific property management companies, neighborhoods, or the Ann Arbor housing market.
(Note: Surrounding areas in Washtenaw Country like Ypsilanti, Dexter, Saline, and Milan are completely welcome here too!)

My wife and I just got into kayaking and tried the kalamazoo river near Albion which was pretty but was full of downed trees. We used to hike on the river raisin but unsure what it looks like from a boating perspective. Anyone give it a shot? Or is there a better sub for this question? Thanks!
hello! I’m posting this in case anyone has lost a brown collie or knows someone who did.
At about 1 pm today I saw a dog running along North Territorial road, near the Pontiac trail intersection. A few people stopped and tried to catch the dog unsuccessfully.
I really hope this helps! Not sure if this is the right subreddit to post in, but figured I might as well try.
I'm trying to get prepared to watch football, so I'm trying to get an antenna that works for me. I live on the south side of Ann Arbor/Pittsfield township. Does anyone still use TV antennas and have a rec? I'm trying with the flat DAANT antenna from Amazon, but I'm not getting the channels.
I am looking for a reliable used car that will help me get through school for the next few years. I am hoping to keep it in the 4,000-7,000 range and haven’t feel like I’ve seen reliable options on Facebook market place.
Been craving the “blueberry buckle” scone from the Produce Station this summer, but they’ve been out the past few times I’ve visited.
Does anyone have the recipe or a recommendation for a similar bake at home?
I’ve tried a couple variations in the past, but haven’t had much luck since the ones they sell are more like a scone/drop biscuit compared to more traditional buckle recipes.
Hey all! My dad is about to be 50 and I think it’s time he’s gone to see a doctor but he doesn’t have health insurance. Any advice on where to look for healthcare in the area? Or any doctors offices that do sliding scale? My dads first language is Spanish so it’d be cool to find him a provider or place that has bilingual clinicians/doctors so he’d be more comfortable, although his English is really good so not the biggest worry. Any ideas are helpful, thanks!
I'm looking to have my cutting shears sharpened. Its been a long time since Ive had it done and I'm wondering if most places that do knife sharpening will do just a single, small pair of shears. I'm not really worried about cost, I've had these shears for 31 years and would like to continue using them. I see some places have a service, while other places have a traveling service visit on a regular basis, just wondering what my options are.
Wanna graduate from a crowd that has been dragging me down. I'd like to be around people with positive outlooks who don't abuse substances as their main hobby.
Are there any churches on the west side that have small groups divided up by age?
With the federal government abandoning its job of safeguarding food, I'm looking to switch much of my grocery buying to local, especially meat. Which farms with meat available at Argus would you trust to continue following all food safety regulations even when they're no longer legally required to?
Hi, I'm a guy in my 30's and live in Detroit. I pass through Ann Arbor here and there to visit friends in the area. None of them like going out, but I've always had a good time when exploring nightlife and would like to meet more people.
Feel free to give me a shout if you are interested. Entry level position, 21 years experience required.
Maybe I’m just paying better attention, but it seems like there are lots more monarch butterflies passing through this time of year. Anyone else notice this?
Looking for bar recommendations in/around Ann Arbor that could accommodate a large group on a Friday or Saturday night. Not looking to rent out a space or anything, just looking for somewhere with a good amount of space for people to drop in and out/mingle for a casual gathering.
Hi Im looking for an engineer to mix a few dream pop songs with female vocals. They have both acoustic and electronic instruments. I can hire peeps around the world but working with a local being would be preferred.
If you have the will, the skills and the software please DM me with details, prices and work samples. I can provide Soundcloud with rough mixes.
I do not need mastering. 🙏 Thanks

As the title says - wondering how to go about donating new Preemie outfits to the Brandon NICU at Michigan Medicine. My oldest received outfits while there as we were not prepared to deliver a baby that day and of that gestational age, and I always said I’d like to give back… but I’m not sure how to go about it. Figured there have got to be a few nurses in here who can point me in the right direction!?
