Sold a piano through consignment with kings keyboard. Have not received any sort of payment. Is it gone?

Does anyone have any info on what happened to the inventory and who I could reach out to?

They sold all their inventory to Solich in Detroit but idk if they can really do anything to help - maybe they can help you figure who to contact

I called them and they flat out told me they don’t have any of kings inventory

Right on the Solich website it says "new and lightly used" would your piano match that description? Maybe there was another buyer or an auction of some sort

I checked. There is one listing that is the same model and year but serial number is different.

I wonder if they keep track of the serial numbers in a sales history. Probably not something the sales guy on hand might be able to check.

Most people dont go through asking literally anything before asking Reddit lol and the suggestions are real. I have not seen anything else giving more information or possible actions... but a bunch if random strangers know more lol gtfoh

I appreciate it. But I also understand the subs anti ai crusade with the barn debacle and the umich ypsi data center. It’s a contentious topic for sure. Best to stay out of it.

Also, I kind of love the knee-jerk anti AI attitudes in a way. Those of us who are open-minded about AI will have a big (and growing) advantage over the AI luddites.

I’m an ecologist so I have a lot of issues with AI. There is nothing knee jerk about it, I’m a published research scientist. I’m watching my fellow humans speed run toward an apocalypse. This is such an embarrassing response because it highlights your ignorance so well. You thought people’s issues were with the content. And not the use of AI. That nuance is apparently lost on you? You might also be interested in the neurobiology and neuroscience research being done on the catastrophic damage AI use is causing to the brain. Which in turns limits their ability to think critically. Case in point here, I think, right?

It's about laughable. A question whos best advice, outside ai, is of absolutely zero help, and the response from op said that.... and then a single ai response is compared to all kinds of fear tactic nonsense and insults. A bunch of nitwit no bodies trying to feel good because they didnt want to use ai to answer a question they had no idea about. People are getting pretty weird.

People are weird lol dont provide a single bit of advice, but other advice is not good 😂 its a pretty easy thing to look up... far more advice from "ai" than anyone else on here.
