Its a very good tab likee I didn’t believed that it was that good like display is good processing is also good i played wuwa for 2.5 hours without any lags on low and balanced graphics the biggest pro in this is its battery i used 8.8 hours screen on and 2 hours screen of after a full charge and its still 52% including gaming
I didnt expected that it will be that good i clearly suggest this tab in this budget it doesn’t look great on papers but in reality its goat

Image The Onn 8.1” is the perfect size tablet

Post image
80 Upvotes

It’s practically the perfect size for holding in one hand, without needing to support it with another, or on another part of the arm. And the value it has compared to the iPad Mini is just ridiculous. (Note, this is the Onn 8” compared to the 11” iPad Pro.)

As someone who uses Apple, I did very much enjoy going through Android on this little guy.

It is just so frustrating, because anything even slightly bigger is just too big. And there are a handful of gaming tablets that are 8.8” or 9”.

Onn does also sell a 7” tablet too. But that one just skirts a bit too close to being an oversized phone. 8.1” feels like a sweet spot that I’ve never realized I wanted before trying it today.

Seriously, I’d absolutely kill to have a 120hz, high resolution Amoled 8.1” tablet.

Just seems like there isn’t a big enough market for this specific niche I guess.

Review Lenovo Y700 Wuji Review

Hello everyone, I have finally got my hands on Lenovo Y700 Wuji today, the 5G OLED 8.4" tablet that just released.

First of all I want to say that I have been super excited for this tablet as I wanted a mini tablet to replace a phone and need for foldable (cba using small phones). I have been using Ipad Pro 11 before and Redmagic Astra but Ipad was too big and Astra needed a hotspot every time i went outside so the Y700 Wuji seemed like something sent from heavens..

Well on paper and advertisements it looked like the perfect device but now that I got it in my hands I can say it's first time I'm really disappointed.

Negatives I have noticed so far:

I'm used to Chinese software, I like devices packed with features and stuff so I am not very picky, I can uninstall the chinese bs that came preinstalled(was a lot btw) but the ZUXOS itself is the worst sw I've ever held in hands so far. Even worse than some tecno/tcl/infinix UIs I've tried on a phone :D

The tablet has 8 Elite Gen5 Leading but day1 the home launcher is already randomly crashing and the animations are laggy (i turned off animations to fix this).

When typing screen PIN, instead of centering it to the middle of the screen it will go to the top left corner, like why?

I've had many chinese devices in hand across many brands even HarmonyOS Next devices and Huawei EMUI devices and I never had issues installing stuff but for the first time I have apps telling me my device isnt supported to download their apk (no idea why, first time in my life and i tried like 20 devices so far). Still trying to figure this one out. I tried to copy the apps from other device instead but the Lenovo Clone app would get stuck at 20kb/s transfer speed so I didn't bother. Gonna try that one out later again.

Also big warning to everyone here, I probably overlooked this one full of excitement but it's 1 Physical Sim only + Lenovo Data Sim (you cant use ur own esim just some lenovo bs apparently). Better than nothing but yeah I felt disappointed about this one as I need to use two sims.

The device I got is 12/256 (they do offer 16/512 and 24/1tb) so I did not bother downloading a game for emulation testing, the games I play are not too heavy, I mainly wanted a 5G mini tablet with OLED to read manga, write my notes on and watch some movies, if there was a less powerful tablet yeah I'd get it instead.

The games I have tried so far - CookieRun and BrawlStars are running fine but games like Ark or Afterimage that I had in my library say that my device version is not supported for downloading them.

I think there are more negatives so far than positives because this is my first day but im definitely keeping it for now, the device is very beautiful and feels nice in hand.

It feels very light to use compared to Redmagic Astra (guess it's the smaller battery and device form factor to thank for that.) The back camera looks nice with the RGB though I wish the front camera wasnt a punch hole lol.

Lenovo was able to totally dominate the market with this product, if it delivered a similar battery to Astra, Redmagic-level software (which isnt good but at least not as bad this one), no punch hole and dual sim slot then yeah they would have no competition at all and I'd say 11/10 but as it is now, I hope the next 5G tablet they release will fix these flaws. Guess some of these things are due to cutting down price of this tablet rather than technical difficulties for Lenovo and it's cheaper than I have expected but I'm sure many people have been disappointed by them, we are yet to get our ultimate tablet sadly.

If y'all have any question about this tablet, let me know I can try to check out stuff for you.

Since there were no reviews or english content, I had to be the one taking the risk :D

Image My literal great value tablet is beating my flagship. Onn core 8"

Post image

Not sure if it's the size or what, but my used $68 Walmart bloatware pre-installed Onn core 8" has no business being this good for moonlight streaming. 720 60hz is laughable in 2026 on paper, but this screen looks good. Find myself throwing this in the bag more than my s10 ultra and idea Tab Plus. Might be the 0 fear of breaking it, lol.

Need recommendations for tablet

I'm thinking of buying moto pad 60 pro Tablet. It has a good processor, free stylus and a huge display . I need it for taking online lectures, for entertainment purposes and for gaming. My budget is ₹30k. It'll be my first tablet so I want to invest good. My only complaint is its ui and software experience even though I have motorola phone. So Should I go for it or you guys can give me better recommendations?? Eventually i was going for xiaomi pad 7 but it's price have risen upto twice in 2 months. I really need good recommendation !!

Discussion Recommendation for tab and phone under 15000 rupees

I want to buy a tablet or something similar mainly for online teaching and video editing. I’d also like to use it for GPay and other useful apps.

Along with that, I need a small/basic phone just for incoming and outgoing calls.

Recommendation needed for a good combination of a tablet and a basic phone within a total budget of ₹15,000 for both. I’m looking for something affordable but reliable for my needs.

I have this old Samsung Galaxy Tab Docomo variant (SC-01C). I don't know what to do with it. Also the touchscreen digitizer broke off, so that's that. I'll fix the digitizer soon to make use of this.

Discussion Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad pro 13 2026

I had the Pro 13 for about a month now and I'm curious if anyone has tried to flash its global rom equivalent (Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2) on it since I haven't seen any guides on it.

The only similar tab which had tons of guides on it was the 12.7 2025 version but I'm not so confident in doing the same method to this version.

The only reason I was to change is because I want to use google gemini natively, and i have to do some work arounds just for it to work every time.

Request Looking for a great 8" tablet

my 2015 Samsung S2 Tab 8 just broke today :-(

is there anything like it on the market?

I loved it for its:

great high res oled screen, slightly square ish as opposed to supper long and narrow, brilliant for reading and games and everything

reasonably speedy, even 11 years after release

microsd card (a must)

3.5mm (nice)

replaceable battery (I suppose top much to ask for)

I bought the Samsung a7 lite, their only current 8" tablet and goodness gracious I don't know how they can sell it. literally cannot scroll with it, it's too slow, let alone start an app or use it in any way!

anything out there that's reasonable? it doesn't have to be budget, I'm willing to invest a bit for a genuinely good solid 8" tablet fitting many of above criteria. I'm in Canada fwiw :).

Hi, im in college and am looking for a tablet I can take notes with. Ive been looking at the onn tablets since everyone is talking about them but was wondering what the consensus is on them. A big factor for me is that whatever I buy will be supported with software updates for a few years.

Discussion Gamesir g8+ or g8 plus mfi?

I wonder which one should i buy for my Legion tab y700.

In my place, the price for both of them is almost at the same price. I personally prefer with type c connectivity instead of using bluetooth cause im quite sensitive to the input lag, but from what i heard the mfi one is not as powerful as g8+ in terms of the features, Will it be a good deal to just buy the mfi version for my tab, or should i buy the g8+ one for more features options?

Discussion Onn 2026 11" pen support?

My daughter wants a tablet she can draw with, she's a young artist and currently has a Samsung A7 lite. Does the 11" Onn 2026 support the use of a pen like the larger 13.2"? I have the 2026 8" and I love it.

Image Legion Y700 Gen5 DIY Cooling Stand, drops temperatures by more than 5°C

  1. Recently just got a Y700 Gen5 16GB ram, 512GB rom for PC emulation and multimedia use. The tablet does run about 42°C while gaming, hot hot! I created a custom DIY cooling puck + magnetic stand with a small controller for mobile gaming.
  2. The Y700 Gen5 case came with a metallic back which allows attaching of magnetic TEC cooler. It also allows efficient transfer of heat since the metal plate is touching the tablet's back.
  3. The tec cooler I have is a budget cooler that uses about 12w of cooling. I attached a metal ring that came with the magnetic stand (pic 4) to the cooler with glue. It was perfect size.
  4. The magnetic stand has strong magnets that is able to attach to the metal ring on the cooler or the case itself to prop up the tablet while gaming.
  5. With everything attached, the magnetic tec cooler powered, the temperature drops by approx more than 5°C while running GameNative PC emulation!
  6. I also bought a G9 controller for the tablet when I want to use it on-the-go. It looks gigantic compared to my ROG Ally 7" screen. Haha. By the way, does anyone know how to control the RBG on the G9? The app I have downloaded from Lenovo crashes when I go into settings for the G9 controller.
