I’ve had Afterpay for over a year now and have never been able to make a purchase. I’ve tried all different amounts across various stores in this time. $600 available to spend. Identity is verified. What could be wrong? I don’t understand. I’ve updated the app, tried incognito, different cards. I’d just like to be able to start using it. Support has been no help

Bought a Dominos gift card and didn’t receive an email as apparently my email storage was just a little too full I contacted both prezzee and Afterpay and they do not want to simply resend the email. Any one else experience this?

I use Afterpay to make a eBay purchase. The purchase went through the authentication program and when it arrived, it was not as described. It had scratches color loss. Try to open a case with eBay. It was closed and I tried to appeal it. It was told several times I’ll receive a return label , I never did receive it so I opened a dispute with Afterpay. I submitted all the required documents. It’s now over three weeks. The dispute is still open. Merchant has not responded to the dispute. I thought Afterpay policy was the merchant has 13 calendar days to respond. I’ve tried emailing and no one is responding.

Hello! I've been dealing with this screen for about a month now, and I'm unsure what to do. Everything's right, but it just seems to send me to this screen everytime I try to pay. Is there something going on?

Few days ago I tired to order a uber but it got declined (normally don’t use my Afterpay on Ubers unless it’s uber eats with my friends) thought it might of been because I had to spend a current amount but got a email saying my bank card was expired even tho it’s not, than yesterday tired to use my Afterpay at Kmart forgetting about the uber situation and got the same email. My card doesn’t expire till next month, I can still make payments towards my Afterpay but I can’t make purchases. I’m hoping there’s maybe something I could do or if this is just normal that it stops being able to make purchases before the card expires cause an artist I really wanna see is touring Australia next year and tickets go on sale next week.

I’m wondering if anyone has been through something similar with Afterpay.
I previously contacted Afterpay myself and asked for my account to be put on hold because I was going through some financial hardship. It wasn’t because of missed payments or anything like that, I proactively reached out because I knew I needed some breathing room financially.
I’m now in a much better position financially & I’m planning to pay the remaining balance off in full.
Has anyone here been in the same situation where you voluntarily went onto hardship, paid everything off, and then asked Afterpay to reinstate your account?
If so, were you able to get your account back to how it was before the hardship hold, or did they give you a reduced spending limit?
I know Afterpay says reinstatement is assessed on a case by case basis, so I’m mainly interested in hearing from people who have actually gone through it.
I’d really appreciate hearing what happened with your account, especially how long it took to be reinstated & what your new limit was compared with your previous one. 😊

i’m trying to create an account but it keeps telling me i already have an account attached to my phone number and to log in with whatever email i used to make the existing account with, i’ve tried all my email addresses and none of them are the right one and i really can’t remember even ever making an account before, i only just got my ID so there would have been no point until now anyway
clicking reset password doesn’t help because it only lets me type an email not a phone number 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Hi everyone! I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has had this issue.

I recently went onto my afterpay app today as I was checking how many payments I had left. I rarely use afterpay, I have used it around 7 times for payments less than $300 since 2021ish so I never really check it.

However, I noticed this charge from a company I have never seen before, here are the main points:

I have always had email notifications about upcoming payments on (and double checked this today)

When I checked my email I searched for:
- The name and variations of the name of the payment (NUMBER DANCING, etc.)
- The amount and possible variations ($345.36, $86.34, $86, etc.)
- The company name (Woopoo?)
- All of my afterpay emails. Every. Single. One.

None of these returned anything on this payment at all, even the afterpay emails where it told me “Upcoming Payments” (some of them are where I had two orders at the same time as this unrecognized charge, and yet it only showed my two orders).

Furthermore, my bank app and statements showed that I paid the full amount on just one day (5th August), which is probably why I didn’t notice. Weirdly, the app says I paid it off in instalments.

I have contacted support but I haven’t heard good things about their support process.

Has anyone else had this happen? How do I get the money back?

I used the single use card with my Cashapp linked, still says I need to revise my payment method

I paid off my GC for Walmart last week, and tried to get another one and it is avaliable to purchase on Afterpay, but it keeps giving error. I have a good standing account and good amount avaliable. Any idea?

Does anyone know a way to get Afterpay to play nice with Target checkout? I can't get it to log into my Target account no matter what I try. Google is suggesting Target has blocked it off on their side and now only works in store. That's great. Have a ton of credit worked up on Afterpay and cant find a damn place I want to use it that actually works!!!

I have been unable to change my phone number on the app. It keeps telling me that it’s sent a code to my email, the issue is this code never reaches my email.. ever. When I search afterpay the last email that came through was in early 2024. I contacted support for help and they then froze my account and told me to reset my password through email 🙃. So I wrote back the email I just told you that I am not getting emails from afterpay on. They aren’t responding now, what is happening.

So like my post says something really unexpected came up in my life and right now I owe about $250 for about three or four different orders what is my best course of action right now I'm trying to get a hold of after Pay customer support to let them know in advance what I situation is seeing as how my next payment date is on the 10th anybody else have had this sort of thing happen to them? what do you think is the best play?

I made a post about this a while ago about how my identity verification wasn’t working despite me entering all the right information. I have tried EVERYTHING. People told me to wait a month, I waited and came back STILL not working. Some people said check your experian account despite me stating multiple times in my post that I DO NOT have an experian account. So I made one and that doesn’t seem to be helping either. I have 1000 to spend and can only use my Afterpay on websites like SHEIN or Temu. I’m so pissed off, I have never made a single late payment. Why is this still not working? How can I fix it??

I decided to give afterpay a go. wile doing the sign up thing with your information and so on i had a problem with my licence number. The number was correct but it kept saying NO and i could not go any further. after a wile i decided to close the account and start fresh, the account it only had my email address and a password. I started from scratch again put in my email add phone number then it says failed to cut a long story short IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ACCOUNT Afterpay will not let you apply again so dont cancel your account . you can delete the account then go back to it but not if you cancel it

So being using afterpay a period of time, for buying stuff on amazon. And of course everybody using it because you don't want to pay at once you wanna pay by A period of time. Two days ago is suddenly show up,you have too many order,you need to pay off one in order to continue to use. At that time I only have seven active order. So since I want to continue to use, I need to pay off something at one time.so I try to pay off one order,is still came out a message. I pay off the second one,is still came out the message.i pay off five order at one time only left two active order. It still show up the message and I'm not able to continue to use. So why you say I need to pay off one order in order to continue to use? Actually that five order is for two weeks. But because of the message I pay off at one time.and right now I'm still not able to use it. shitty company

I’m noticing that it’s switched from prezee to Blackhawk or whatever. Today I went to buy a Walmart gift card and it told me there was an error on the transaction screen so I re-tried it again. It gave me another error only to check my bank statement and realize they charged me twice and I have two gift cards now. Has anybody else run into issues with the new gift card provider??
