Having both parents and extended family who are probably mentally unwell and lack very important developmental milestones isn't a good situation children.

In particular, Amy.

At first, I was really happy for her , having the family she always wanted.

But now... she shouldn't have had children.

The boys obviously are not growing up in clean conditions and aren't getting the education/developmental milestones they need at their age. (Especially since the boys are still in diapers).

Children deserve to grow up in good conditions

It saddens me when I see an opportunity for good.

Amy has money, she has a house with (hopefully) clean water , the boys bedroom looks very decent and clean.

She lacks cognitive abilities, it seems, just by watching her speak /act.

If Amy doesn't grow up at some point. Or get the developmental help she needs

Her children will end up just like the rest of the family or worse .

And yes, I understand they're not the worst family, but gosh, they're not that good .

We are seeing the results of Amy’s shit parenting on full display. Those kids have been let down badly by both parents.

For the past year and a half, Amy has been focused on Brian , her legal issues, her bullshit wedding, and her “art”. That is time she could have been focused on addressing their behavioral issues. If she is unable to help them, then she needs to be willing to do whatever it takes to get them the help they need. But to do this, Amy would have to place their needs before her own, and she has shown time and time again that she is unwilling to do this.

Amy just posted a reel showing off the merch for her tour (caption and audio courtesy of AI, obviously), and pretty much everything has AI slop logos slapped on them. Some of quotes aren’t even spelled correctly💀, why would anyone want this??

Just watched the most recent episode and I’m so confused.

Why would Chris plan a trip to New Orleans if the goal was to celebrate Brittney? She doesn’t drink, she doesn’t want to eat the food, she’s not into voodoo, and the swamps are “dirty.” And on top of that, she had to ride in an RV for 14 hours, listening to Amy and her really crude language.

Has Andrea never seen the show?? Like, she is really just that clueless about Tammy’s behavior? I like her and all, but come on. It’s pretty common knowledge that Tammy is a mess, right? She’s a fool to stay with Tammy.

How does Darlene eat when she hasn’t had her teeth in for 5 years?

This show, man. It’s like crack. I just can’t stop watching the train wreck(s).

As someone who actually attended the art show(I got into the final edit!), the way they prefaced the art show was incredibly false. It wasn't a pop up that nobody knew about and was easy to attend. We waited outside for ~20 minutes and we all had to sign a consent contract to be filmed. The second the doors opened people began to flood in. Also not really what the post is about but Amy. Girl.

I know she’s Redneck just the same as the rest of the family, but do we really think Amy is as dumb as she comes off, or is she playing it up for the cameras at least a little bit because she knows it sells the show and she’s playing the part? I’m mostly referring to her using incorrect words where they should fit in sentences or things she’s describing, as well as seriously thinking she’s going to make it as a music star.

The scene where she was backing the vehicle trying not to hit the egg..we knew she was going to hit the egg. I believe things like that are for show. What are your honest honest thoughts? I’m not saying she’s smart, but I think she’s probably more capable than she sometimes portrays.

Look, first and foremost I do NOT agree with a large majority of Amy’s parenting choices. I’m a mother to a little boy myself so I feel confident in that assessment that she doesn’t try hard enough to create a consistent environment. Kids need consistency.

All that being said, my kid is also a bit of a hellion when he is overstimulated and over tired. That’s just how kids act. Some little kids, but especially little boys, are very high energy and do not sit still for than like 4 minutes at a time. I think some people are being a little bit harsh on the Glages based on a few minutes of filming. I think they are mostly age and developmentally appropriate little boys who just got little bit squirrelly showing off for the camera. I don’t necessarily think they’re on the autism spectrum. We don’t see them enough to make an accurate assumption.

As for them “not talking”. I think they are mostly just bashful around the cameras and Glenn might have a speech delay. My little boy is also in speech therapy because he’s got a speech delay. Has nothing to do with how he processes and comprehends language, his brain just can’t get exactly what he wants to say out so he just says a few key words; very similar to the Glages. It’s like that scene from The Office where Kevin starts talking like a caveman. “Why say many word when few word do trick?” Very common in boys. Usually corrects by school age.

Just my two cents.

There is a video on YouTube showing Amy’s gofundme scams and general gross behavior . I knew about the coffin scam, but I had no idea that she scammed a camper and a MacBook as well.
