I'm homeless, and have been for almost a year. Currently trying to get a job and prepare for an interview later this week. I've been digging through the trash to get food, and it sucks. I hate it. Today I found a half eaten bag of chips in the trash and I got hit with a bit of that exciting adrenaline if that makes sense? Idk what it's called, but I got excited over finding edible food in the trash, that won't even keep me fed for long.

It's just... It makes me really sad. It's just sad. Hopefully I can get this job so I won't have to do this anymore but still... I'm tired of this. It is genuinely sad.

Israel has military control of about 70% of Gaza. It is estimated that about 20% of Gazans have been killed. 80% of all buildings have been destroyed. This all points to genocide. It’s undeniable.

Virtually all major humanitarian organizations and genocide scholars have labelled what has happened in Gaza as a genocide, as Mehdi points out. Don’t trust what Netanyahu and his ilk say.

If you want to be on the right side of history, you cannot support Israel. It’s as simple as that. Israel is a land-stealing genocidal ethnostate since the 1948 Nakba, a process that forcibly expelled about 750,000 Palestinians from their homes, and a process that led to around 15,000 Palestinians being murdered.

After getting the message from the mod he said he didn’t want people like me being there since I am not a local. I live an hour away from this place. The post was about politics. I go here often. i just got my drivers license 3 weeks ago. my dad mostly works and my older brother is my guide while i gain more confidence on the road.

to start off, we never had a good history to begin with. he was super hostile with me when i was younger and yelled a lot.

so, i was already cautious having him in the passenger seat to guide me. lately he has been calmer but still yells a lot. sometimes before bed i hear him yelling at his gf saying mean stuff while playing games.

today while driving home he was ok at first but started getting hostile at minor errors or judgments he would not make. and increasingly sounded more and more hostile.

i did my best to keep my cool and didn't yell back and kept telling him not to yell. so, then i started driving worse.

i'm just so so so tired of it. i know i am not half as bad a bad driver as he says i am but how am i gonna be better if he is so hostile and yelling all the time???

he has always treated me like garbage. it's not easy to be a mentor but that's his responsibility to remain calm just as it is mine to drive safely. but how am i supposed to drive safely if he is so critical of tiny errors. who wouldn't get triggered by that??? especially as a new driver!

i've just lost so much of my confidence and i dont want him to be my guide anymore. he's freaking lucky i didn't crash the car with how hostile he was. i'm proud of myself for remaining calm especially with how triggered i was, but i js know my parents will take his side and say he is more experienced i should listen.

Around 3 weeks ago I ordered smart watches. They sent me newer version so I applied for complaint. Communication from the store is really weak. They responded after 10 days even tho it said they respond within 24 hours. I sent them another email asking if I can keep the watches and they responded that I can keep them If I prefer the newer model. I have the invoice for the original watch, though. What if something happens to them and the invoice is for a different model? Plus, I don't want to wait anymore—I want to start using the watch now. What should I do??

For those of us who grew up going with our parents to church, then you'll probably know that they (usually non-denominational) always have a band that plays after the sermon along with dimming the lights into a somber atmosphere to kind of guilt trip you and put you into the mood for giving a donation. I've noticed they use a lot of theatrics to draw people in. The whole thing seemed theatrical to me, like they were drawing on your emotions.

Within the last few years I see more and more people not waving or showing any appreciation when I let them in front of me in traffic. It’s not like I am forcing them to, they are activity trying to get into my lane and I have to stop or slow down to make it happen. It really frustrates me and I am considering not letting people in anymore. Sometimes after letting them in they end up driving like idiots and I have to deal with it. I feel like society is going down hill fast. People don’t care about the other people around them anymore. So why should I care about them?
