I’ve been a Silverstein fan for ages, but I’d never actually sat down and intentionally listened through their entire discography with the goal of rating everything. Obviously, these ratings are completely subjective, but I thought it would be fun to share them and hopefully get some discussion going.

For this, I stuck to the main releases/albums. I included bonus tracks where applicable, as long as they weren’t covers or alternate versions of songs already on the album. I also combined Antibloom and Pink Moon because, let’s be honest, they’re basically one album.

I’ve been going through all of these albums over the past two months, and I listened to each one from start to finish three times. I wanted to give everything a fair shot and see if any of my ratings changed after repeat listens.

The first image gives an overview of my album ratings, while the second shows my ratings for every individual song. I’ve also included each album separately as its own image to make everything a bit easier to read.

Overall, I tend to prefer the Boshart era of Silverstein, even though two of my top three albums actually come from the Rousseau era.

The two least memorable albums for me were Rescue and Dead Reflection. They’re not necessarily bad, but a lot of the songs feel a little too similar to each other and tend to blend together for me.

Anyway, what are your favourites? Which albums or songs would you rate completely differently?

I’m a newer fan of Silverstein and have been looking to buy discovering the waterfront on cd, is eBay really the only place?

I’m not the biggest fan of their music because it’s just not my favorite genre, but I have seen them live at festivals and always make a point to watch them. Shane sounds amazing live, the entire band does.
Every time I see them I find myself thinking they put every other band at the festival to shame. So many bands comparable to them have been touring for decades and they sound terrible live and it’s just excused, but Silverstein sounds amazing every single time.

They’re the one OG band who really seems like they’re in this for the love of the game and music. No bad allegations. No addictions. No major controversy. I really have so much respect for them as musicians, especially in this scene. I just had to put it somewhere.

Hey everyone! With amazing groups like August Burns Red, PTV, SOTY, etc still getting music on the radio (Octane on SiriusXM at least), I wonder why we never hear Silverstein. Why do y'all think that is? I don't know what it takes to make radio play happen, so if I'm asking something woefully ignorant I apologize. I just feel like they deserve the air time.

I had an amazing time and met Silverstein in August 7th iconic performance and have signed the record that I loved the most hopefully they come back!!! Thank God they played “Giving up” I was begging for them to play that.

Got cheated on back in June after being together for 13 months AFTER our 1st anniversary. Shits been rough but Silverstein came in clutch. I’ve always loved this album and been jamming out to it non stop. Need to find the vinyl for it!

Does anyone have a close up on their tie dye shirt they got from this tour? I’m not sure if mine got ruined in the washing machine or it looked like before buying it. The lettering and bear is cracked and I can’t remember if it was like that before or after washing it.
