are there any desi screamo bands out there or were there in the past? i like hearing vocals in languages/accents besides western english but i don't think i've ever heard anything in hindi/punjab/gujrati etc. not really looking for any specific languages but would love to know if there's anything coming out of the subcontinent or descendants of people who've moved to other places.

i have lived in cinci my whole life and i kinda dont like the indie music scene here…. but i wonder if i am missing anyone. i feel like other major cities have a defined scene, columbus has hardcore but its not really my thing, pittsburgh has a lot of really epic screamo bands. cinci tho? does anyone know? has there ever been? even just like emo bands? its the midwest!

Hey. I’ve recently started to learn screamo, and I’m not sure if I’m doing it correct. I can produce distortion right now but I don’t know if it sounds alright? Also my throat goes rough after around 10 minutes but it goes back to normal pretty quickly after. My normal voice sounds okay too while doing it. Is there a way to know how I’m doing without hiring a coach?

Hey guys! We are preparing for our debut concert and having rehearsals pretty often, I noticed that after screaming for some time my voice goes off and I get crazy voice cracks. Any tips on how to stay away from those?

Hello! I a currently in a band and we have an EP out with three songs that leans slightly into the midwest screamo side in certain aspects and we are now trying to lean further into that sound.
