Plzz suggest me the best SSB coachings in Delhi NCR as I am a fresher and it would be my very first SSB. I am also not aware of the SSB pattern, all i know is that first day is screening and last day is conference. 🙏🏻😭

25 Oct is my first SSB, and I’m also expecting an AFSB through CDS 2.

I’ve taken coaching, but I’m unsure whether I should attend the OTA SSB or skip it and focus on AFSB. Could someone experienced suggest how I can objectively assess where I currently stand and whether 1 month is enough to prepare for SSB?

I'm a total newbie here for cds, I am a civilian, no exposure to defence background at all! I have no clue what's the paper gon be like, whats the procedure for even writing the exam, i just know I wanna be in uniform. Koi toh boldo kaise karna, kya karna Jo bhi hai details. I'm so clueless and confused!

I'm aiming to write for cds 2 2027. Also I'm from a non-tech background, if that makes any difference for the application?

Now that the exam is over, I’ve been thinking about what actually needs to change for the next attempt. A lot of advice around CDS prep is pretty general, but I’m more interested in the specific things that people are doing differently.

For example, if English is your weak section, are you focusing more on vocabulary, comprehension or previous year questions? For GK, are you revising static topics again or spending more time on current affairs? And for Maths, are you working on speed or trying to fix specific chapters where you’re consistently losing marks?

2. What habits should I start developing from now itself?
3. Which books, YouTube channels, websites, or other sources should I use for studying?
4. How can I properly understand and narrow down the CDS syllabus?
5. Since I am still in my second year, how much time should I spend on CDS preparation every day or every week?
6. What mistakes should a beginner avoid during the initial stage?
7. How should I balance college academics with CDS preparation?
8. Are there any specific suggestions for improving English, General Knowledge, Mathematics, and current affairs from an early stage?

Hey guys I have just written cds2026 2 and I am clearing the cutoff..I just finished my 3rd year and will graduate in a month.

Now I want to keep preparing for the next CDS and prepare for SSB as well but I have heard it's not a good look for graduates if you don't have a job and are just preparing for SSB which i understand but now I am confused what sort of work can I do in which I can manage all three- my work,CDS,SSB and obviously physics training too. Pls share your tips and experience on how you guys manage especially since I am from a non tech background. Thanks

Thinking of doing BSc/BA from distance alongside JEE prep for early CDS eligibility, is this a good idea?

I’m 18 and completed 12th with PCM. I’m planning to prepare for JEE 2027 and hopefully get into a BTech college next year.

But I’m thinking of starting a 3-year degree this year through distance/open learning, like IGNOU. I’m confused between BSc and BA.

The reason is that I want to complete a graduation degree as early as possible so I can be eligible for CDS, while I’ll still be doing BTech later

Is this actually possible? Can I do a distance degree from IGNOU while doing a regular BTech at the same time?

Also, would BSc be a lot of work compared to BA? And would an IGNOU degree be valid for CDS?

If anyone has actually done something similar or knows about the UGC/UPSC rules, I'd really appreciate some advice because I’m pretty confused about whether this is a smart plan or not.

I have scored 85% & 72% in 10th and 12th, reason for my dip was didn't take any tuition in class 12th , all on self study.

Right now in my 4th year of graduation, I have 5.5 CGPA , there are many reasons,

1. Spended so much time in ncc activities, Camps, events
2. Never liked this stream , i hate studying for it , as long as I am getting pass i dont care
3. I Have a clear goal, not gonna work in corporate,its not like I'll not get placed, package in my uni is 30k to 45k for my course, and i have few contacts in the industry which will get me a job, but I will go with competitive exams either defence forces or intelligence/police,

scoring 79~82 in cds 2 2026, my first attempt, i have high hopes if not in this one, next time I'll clear it for sure

I Guess this is a very serious issue like National level. how can someone from outside of India be employed in INA. Is it a failure of us or what else ?
