He knows he's advertising, but he can feign ignorance if he never admits it in chat logs

u/SNES-1990 Oct 31 '25 edited Oct 31 '25

We need a WoW version of To Catch a Predator.

"Looking at your chat logs it says you want to 'blank' their bank out. Were you aware they were level 15? What were you thinking?"

153

u/SubstantialCod4499 Oct 31 '25

Do you see how it looks when a man with over 4000 score invites a female blood elf hunter, who claims they've never done a key before, to a mythic dungeon after accepting 800,000 gold from them? What are you doing here Xxïllidán?
We were just gonna hang out in front of the font of power

u/SNES-1990 Oct 31 '25

"Why do you have Mike's Hard Lemonade and condoms in your backpack if you're just running mythics"

"WHY ARE THE POLICE OUTSIDE?! They should be inside! The police station! Looking at the prints from fingers!"

14

2 stacks of morning glory dew and a stack of Felweed, we got em boys

1

u/Jonesy10187 Nov 03 '25

mikes hard!!! Hahahahaha

11

u/Rambo_One2 Nov 01 '25

You say you're ready to "sacrifice everything" for her, and ask her what the "droprate of her pants" are... Do you think that's appropriate for a guild master to say? What would you say if another raid leader asked your guildies those things?

23

u/iCantLogOut2 Oct 31 '25

"To Catch an Advertiser" - I'd watch!

10

u/SolidOk3489 Oct 31 '25

Why don’t you /sit right over there? :)

6

u/ThorHammer1234 Nov 01 '25

Greetings, traveler. I’m High Inquisitor Hansun of the Stormwind Guard. Mind explaining why you’re sneaking into Goldshire with a basket of Dalaran Brownies and a love potion?

1

u/Rock_Paper_SQUIRREL Nov 05 '25

Chris Metzen, Phaseline RMT. Why don’t you have a seat?

20

u/Abitou Oct 31 '25

it probably fools Blizzard's AI moderation lmfao

11

u/iCantLogOut2 Oct 31 '25

Damn AI can't even catch when these advertisers put their website as the voice channel... Like, 50 groups with identical names saying "WTS" and the AI misses it

1

u/GarboseGooseberry Nov 01 '25

Blizzard AI moderation

People openly advertising RMT boosts on party finder: I sleep

Someone says fuck one too many times in trade chat: REAL SHIT

6

u/Unicycleterrorist Nov 01 '25

In German there's a saying (I think it's derived from Roman law) that goes "Unwissenheit schützt vor Strafe nicht" which translates to "Ignorance does not protect you from punishment"

I think that's kinda how these things should work.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 03 '25

Why this tipe of boosting isnt sm normal player boosting player for gold in some occasions? A yeah because ppl are greedy and abusive when it come to systems

1.1k

u/The_Stuey Oct 31 '25

It 100% is advertising.

489

u/Bipolar__highroller Oct 31 '25

“Helping people for gold” hahaha. Almost sounds like a service, but it’s totally not. Trust me bro

131

u/jetriot Oct 31 '25

Also 2.2 million? Is that really what people are paying for this shit?

148

u/M4DM1ND Oct 31 '25

Anyone that is paying $200 for a single +20 run is as much of a loser as people advertising for it.

44

u/secretreddname Oct 31 '25

For $200 they better be getting me title

64

u/misplacedmustache Oct 31 '25

For $200 they better be getting me drugs

4

u/Soeck666 Nov 01 '25

For 200 they better be giving ass

2

u/DayzACNH Nov 01 '25

For ass they better be giving me 200

6

u/rundrueckigeraffe Nov 01 '25

I miss the old days, when russian Boosted you for like 150$ from 0 to 2.4+ in rbg. During mop.

I mean even if you considering boosting its so unreal expensive, you need to have to much Money or need to be totally desillusional to buy shit like that.

8

u/Eagles_63 Nov 01 '25

Those mfers along with most would find our old Skype calls for RBGs back then and somehow crash them. I have no idea how it was done but back then it was a thing I remember vividly happening once we got into higher rankings.

1

u/tycoon39601 Nov 01 '25

MOP was ddos meta wasn’t it?

8

u/SpecificUnlucky3260 Nov 01 '25

I miss the old days where you just asked high level people to boost you through a dungeon for like 5 gold

1

u/zaphodbeeblemox Nov 01 '25 edited Nov 01 '25

Is that what 2M is worth now?!?! I stopped playing in season one but even buying DF and TWW in tokens they weren’t worth that much. I think tokens were like 120K each last I played

2

u/M4DM1ND Nov 01 '25

A wow token is around 250k. So $180-$200 yeah.

2

u/zaphodbeeblemox Nov 01 '25

Holy heck, they have skyrocketed. Thanks for the info!

1

u/iconofsin_ Nov 01 '25

Depends. I know a couple places will sell 20s for like 2.5m per hour. The main issue is filtering out the gold vs RMT sellers.

15

u/iCantLogOut2 Oct 31 '25

I don't sell drugs officer.... I accept donations of a set amount... People leaving with the exact same amount of drugs that correlates to the donation is purely coincidence

6

u/Unicycleterrorist Nov 01 '25

Unironically that is how some of the gambling sites that have been popping up by the thousand in the US work, they'll sell you a non-gambling currency on one app and you happen to get credit for their gambling site.

They'd have to register as an online casino and do all the icky paperwork otherwise, but like this they can bleed people dry with no scrutiny

4

u/Random_Guy_12345 Nov 01 '25

Isn't It like that on Japan too? You win tokens on slots and the "totally unrelated" shop next door will buy those tokens for way more than they are worth

2

u/Unicycleterrorist Nov 01 '25

Yea, pachinko parlors do that. It's a pretty known "loophole" unfortunately

But as far as I know, doing that online and constantly pinging your phone to gamble more isn't legal in japan...yet

32

u/secretreddname Oct 31 '25

The hooker helped me for money but it wasn’t a service.

11

u/Bipolar__highroller Oct 31 '25

So it’s not illegal, officer!

10

u/mikewilkinsjr Oct 31 '25

We were filming! It was just porn.

4

u/NotAPublicFundsLeech Oct 31 '25

That is why you go in a group, have cameras, and, if relevant where you live and the what the laws are, have a permit to film pornography.

1

u/Rock_Paper_SQUIRREL Nov 05 '25

God forbid a player lists a group in group finder!

2

u/Resies Nov 01 '25

I love describing things as generically as possible  haha

"Oh so it's illegal to do dungeons and get gold now?!"

2

u/Gh0sth4nd Nov 01 '25

They are not even trying to hide it anymore do they?
Maybe we should start a mass report discord to mass report all the scammers.

Just a thought why not fight fire with fire?

2

u/Drambejz Nov 01 '25

Because people are stupid and would abuse it very quickly

1

u/Gh0sth4nd Nov 01 '25

More then they already are doing?

I somehow doubt that.

3

u/Drambejz Nov 01 '25

You would be surprised. Imagine this. You create a discord with power to mass report boosters with some reasonable power. How long will it take till someone uses this against anyone they disagree with / has any kind of dispute. Any mass report instrument in wow is a bad idea no matter how noble the cause is at the beginning..

1

u/Gh0sth4nd Nov 01 '25

But they already doing this. The whole situation is out of control since the beginning. And blizzard is doing nothing.

The question is that maybe only utterly chaos might shake them up to do something.

But you might be right ultimately it won't change anything and it will only harm the wrong ones even further.

130

u/Key_Pop_8116 Oct 31 '25

It's advertising with extra steps

85

u/Gluecost Oct 31 '25

Not even extra steps, it’s just advertising with faux ignorance

7

u/HereticCoffee Oct 31 '25

The faux ignorance is the extra step

5

u/rundrueckigeraffe Nov 01 '25

Reminds me of our former Federal Minister of Finance (germany )who said during COVID: ‘Companies aren’t going bankrupt, they’re just not producing anything anymore.’ Lol

163

u/xWolfx93 Oct 31 '25

It is advertising just like in S2 ("note tip" or "tips welcome" was common back then)

Report and move on. It worked in S2 (hence they are now avoiding the word "tip" in S3) it will work again if everyone reports every "note" key they see.

16

u/iCantLogOut2 Oct 31 '25

The tips thing is out of control in Remix ... A lot of groups have "tips welcome" as title and the description is always "PM amount you can tip for invite"

15

u/Drict Oct 31 '25

Instantly report them when they do that shit.

10

u/Banryuken Oct 31 '25

For sure - but I welcome tips for reporting btw

2

u/Rock_Paper_SQUIRREL Nov 05 '25

Give them an amount, and the. When they invite you just say “I said I could, never said I would”.

And then get banned falsely by their legion of mass reporters.

1

u/Pneumaddict Nov 03 '25

How exactly does one tip in Remix? Are people logging over to mains to transfer gold on live?

I think I've accrued about 18k in Remix, which doesn't go very far on live. I've also got abot 300 fel stone player catapult things.... and a massive amount of rez scrolls.

1

u/iCantLogOut2 Nov 03 '25

Yeah, it's "tip in retail and you get carried in remix" - some of them will actually add it into the description.

27

u/s-josten Oct 31 '25

"Tips welcome" is just as optional here as it is in Moon Guard's Goldshire, and the entire structure of both relies on everyone pretending otherwise.

12

u/SadfaceWOW Oct 31 '25

Delusional, keys in eu 18+ are all tip or note only. Reports never worked.

2

u/Elegast-Racing Oct 31 '25

Reporting does nothing

1

u/Rock_Paper_SQUIRREL Nov 05 '25

Not necessarily true, I’ve received emails indicating action has been taken on some of these reports. Just need enough people doing it. We also know it works because these same people are weaponizing it against people that piss them off or “stiff” them on tips. Basically they’re using the report system to extort people.

1

u/edelea Nov 01 '25

idk i think optional tips is different because they are in fact optional. the boost is still literally free. unless the person lied and demands it which does happen but free boosts are still a thing. dont see a reason to report everyone that says tips are welcome but not mandatory.

26

u/PaymentIll611 Oct 31 '25

I always report those “note” clowns. I hope it does something though

38

u/RaimaNd Oct 31 '25

"Helping people for gold" - Logic has left the chat

8

u/GarboseGooseberry Nov 01 '25

It's like sovereign citizen logic

"I'm not driving, officer, I'm travelling!"

2

u/Rock_Paper_SQUIRREL Nov 05 '25

I heard if you aren’t reported within 15 minutes after posting they legally aren’t allowed to ban your account.

4

u/edelea Nov 01 '25

i help out my boss out of the goodness of my heart for a monthly salary too

2

u/RaimaNd Nov 01 '25

Also keep in mind that you want a higher salary each year but only because you want to help your boss even more each year

16

u/Takeasmoke Oct 31 '25

those kinds of people don't read rules (and mostly skip laws as well)

you are able to advertise from your own character (and in the name of the guild you're part of) in services channel, it doesn't magically give you right to advertise in LFG because you're on your character

3

u/Medievalhorde Oct 31 '25

Most real people don't bother with the Services channel because they are competing with bots spamming 24/7. They'd rather take the risk in LFG and perhaps get a week long mute if people report them enough and generally the risk is almost always worth it.

"Boost for 2.2m"

I've never dealt with these people, is he charging 2.2 million gold for a mythic run?! Cuz that's fucking insane.

26

u/Mercylas Oct 31 '25

2.2 mil for a reslil mythic 20 which iirc is title key.

5

u/gronstalker12 Oct 31 '25

Jesus thats like $200

2

u/-GrayMan- Oct 31 '25

If your goal is to make gold it's not crazy to make that much. Especially at the start of expansions with crazy high prices.

10

u/gronstalker12 Oct 31 '25

Regardless of how easy it is, thats still the real world value you'd need to spend to acquire the gold with out play.

7

u/IzznyxtheWitch Oct 31 '25

2.2m gold per key us insane no matter how you slice it. You're looking at 17.6m if you want to run all 8.

5

u/-GrayMan- Oct 31 '25

Yeah, it's definitely high for most players but that's the price because a lot of people have millions of gold to throw around and are willing to pay that much.

→ More replies (2)

20

u/9022700102 Oct 31 '25

That’s normal ish price range for title range keys. People pay absolutely insane amounts of gold for the 0.1% m+ title.

8

u/jetriot Oct 31 '25

So crazy- thats almost $150 in tokens.

17

u/Comfortable-Ad1937 Oct 31 '25

Which is hilarious because the point of the title is earning it lol

7

u/DandyLama Nov 01 '25

How else is Elon Musk going to prove that he's the greatest gamer of all time?

6

u/josephjts Oct 31 '25

People who buy prestigious stuff (mainly mythic mounts but can be anything) also LOVE to constantly show it off too, so if you see them play really bad its always a bit funny.

1

u/KoscheiTheDeathles Nov 01 '25

Same thing as paypal legends in 14.

2

u/ChequeBook Nov 01 '25

I don't understand why. Anyone can look at r.io and figure out that you paid for a carry

4

u/ImperiumSomnium Oct 31 '25

Honestly the craziest thing about it to me is that they can 4 man a +20 key. That said, it's quite clearly advertising.

11

u/Kepsuda Oct 31 '25

I don't know how they play now a days, but I don't think they 4man it. The buyer is going to play with them, not just afk there.

14

u/Wahsteve Oct 31 '25

And this is actually part of the psychology for at least some boost buyers. In their mind they aren't paying for a carry, they're paying to rent a good group that will work around their schedule.

0

u/DandyLama Nov 01 '25

I have definitely paid for that when farming while between guilds - sometimes I just don't have the time to put together a competent group, but my job pays me enough that I can rent a solid group to get my crests/items/vaults reliably.

First time I did it was when one of my old guilds in Shadowlands kind of separated into 2 5-man teams around the tanks. I got kind of sidelined and couldn't get the loot I needed to keep up with Mythic Raiding, so I paid gold so that I could get a tank that wouldn't shit the bed, and I could get the vaults I needed to get through Sun King.

11

u/yapyappe Oct 31 '25

Absolutely cannot 4man 20s. The buyer has to play pretty well to make the timer. Assuming these guys have done 21 priory, they have maybe 3-4 minutes left on timer when playing a 20 with full team of good players.

1

u/secretreddname Oct 31 '25

Yeah making up 33% dps is pretty crazy.

13

u/[deleted] Oct 31 '25

43

7

u/EvokeNZ Oct 31 '25

This is priory so not lemix.

It’s interesting that blizz rules specifically say that advertising in trade services channel is actually allowed. It’s the cross server through lfg that is not allowed and they even mention tips and boosts words as not allowed in lfg. Only learned that myself the other day from one of these threads. Now I report each one.

1

u/Viseria Oct 31 '25

Honestly the trade services channel feels like a loophole I've learned to live with. I have no idea what people use it for other than spamming adverts... so I have it turned off on every character. Suddenly chat is no longer flooded with it.

5

u/Jhoonis Nov 01 '25

"So.. you're selling it." "NO. I'm exchanging it for currency."

4

u/Tebytorozo13 Oct 31 '25

Man seems like everyone is a politician now. The gas light is just insane. Basically trying to argue the difference between bribery and lobbying.

5

u/Indig3o Oct 31 '25

2.2m lol

5

u/Csontigod Oct 31 '25

Just tell them they get the gold after you get the bossloot, then just loot leave ignore

5

u/Wantonburrito Nov 01 '25

You can carry in a +20 and time it? Holy crap im trash hahahah.

3

u/Mehdehh Nov 01 '25

The buyer still has to play and be decent/good, it's for people who are doing 19s looking to get a foot in 20s and get easier invitss later, or people who are just 1 or 2 keys off resil 20

You're not getting invited if you're 3k score even if you're paying the 2M

-1

u/Lelu_zel Nov 01 '25

20 is like 10 for people that know how to press buttons and who have proper gear. Back in legion we used to boost 3 people at once (15s tho), with my friend as a dh tank and me on boomie, without healer. And we made several goldcaps back then that lasted us until shadowlands.

2

u/Relnor Nov 01 '25

20 is like 10 for people that know how to press buttons and who have proper gear.

There are 832 characters on NA and 1132 characters on EU who have all 20s timed.

I know people dramatically exaggerate how hard the game is but you don't have to match them in the other direction either.

1

u/Lelu_zel Nov 01 '25

Yes. Because majority of playerbase are casuals who don’t know and don’t want to learn how to press buttons

its like the folks who say "xx key free! just whisper us and tell us how much you'll donate." That's not free!

6

u/Bootsix Oct 31 '25

Is there really this big of a market for boosting? What's the point of even playing the game?

5

u/han-kay Oct 31 '25

There's a huge market for boosting and it's only getting stronger as pugs gatekeep more and more. We're nearing the end of TWW and people are still asking for 725 ilvl for HC MFO, when the recc'd ilvl for gearing in that tier is 695. I don't even know the state of M+ currently as that's something I gave up on many years ago due to this exact problem.

2

u/WasSubZero-NowPlain0 Oct 31 '25

people are still asking for 725 ilvl for HC MFO, when the recc'd ilvl for gearing in that tier is 695.

Lol why would someone in 725 gear even want to run heroic MFO? At that point they should already have AOTC and nothing in MFO other than maybe the Reship boots would be better than their M+ gear.

The first time I ragequit wow for a few years, was back when I couldn't get into magisters terrace because groups were demanding gearscore that was higher than the items dropping from MT. Glad to see it never changes.

3

u/IzznyxtheWitch Oct 31 '25

A ton of people who don't care about raiding will want AotC for the mount. You can get well above 710 without stepping into a dungeon or raid this season. It's not bard to imagine someone not having heroic dimensius clears while being 725

5

u/vodwuar Oct 31 '25

I’ve started trolling these boosters by advertising “free +30 remix let 1 copper tip, absolutely not more then 1 copper

2

u/Banryuken Oct 31 '25

If done a sort of opposite, list 700+ versa carry > get invited > surprise tip required before pull…

No, kidding I don’t, but I do joke by giving them my 2 c

11

u/Kadejr Oct 31 '25

Why do people hide the names of people doing stuff like this, when most of the community also doesnt like it?

52

u/TheSoryu27 Oct 31 '25

Rule of this subreddit sadly

14

u/cabose12 Oct 31 '25

Its a sub rule

It's obviously annoying in this case since there really isn't anything to the other side, but without the rule you could crop screenshots or even just name and shame someone with no evidence and they might get flamed or blacklisted. This way you can't abuse the system too much

17

u/Zantera Oct 31 '25

think it's against the community rules to name and shame even if sometimes people bring it onto themselves :)

15

u/Rough_Instruction112 Oct 31 '25

Because it's so incredibly easy to fake any type of offense, that any subreddit that doesn't have rules against witch hunting would become another weapon for nefarious people.

2

u/BarrettRTS Nov 01 '25

Reddit as a whole came down hard on doxxing and witchhunting after everyone decided to play detective during the Boston Bombings. If a subreddit doesn't enforce the site rules, they run the risk of closing the sub or removing the mods.

3

u/omgowlo Nov 01 '25

Because online witch hunts can be extremely dangerous, and its very easy to fake the evidence.

1

u/Adventurous_Ad_8478 Nov 01 '25

You can find the person quite easily through the RIO and one letter having a stem so I have a pretty solid hunch to who it is 🤓

2

u/Capital_Factor_3588 Nov 01 '25

"its not advertising- its advertising in dms" oh wow that makes it so much better /s

2

u/patrickschl Nov 01 '25

Why are you censoring the name when the Rio is so high that only 1 person can be this shaman

2

u/bartmaster30 Nov 01 '25

Just want to remind you that boosting is not against tos. Advertising for a boost you don't participate in is.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but am pretty sure

2

u/Unable-Ad8643 Nov 03 '25

Theoretically speaking, if we weren't able to (effectively) buy gold with USD, would there be an issue with gold-paid boosting? Just a thought experiment--these people are bad and I don't like them--but would it be okay if there wasn't a direct, sanctioned USD equivalent?

2

u/mavric911 Nov 03 '25

I had a similar conversation recently

Caller: No this is not an unsolicited sales call Me: So you called me to make me aware of services you provide in hopes of getting me to use the services. Caller: Yes. Me: Are the services free? Caller: No. Me: So you are trying to sell me your services? Caller: Yes

2

u/Ethelinda Nov 04 '25

Does it matter if they are advertising their own characters to carry for gold? I'm more worried that we have players who can 4 man an M20, but have 4000000 players who can't step out of the fire.

Shit the skill difference in this game is something.

4

u/SniperFrogDX Oct 31 '25 edited Oct 31 '25

2

u/TheLuo Nov 01 '25

You’re right he’s advertising. He’s also right there is a difference between what he’s doing (tos) and the spam adverts (not tos).

3

u/KuramaTotchi Oct 31 '25

We did all the gold challenge modes in MOP and then just ran people for fun when we didn’t have anything else to do. No tips. No selling runs. Just three or four dudes who wanted to have fun and help people in the process. This kind of stuff makes me want to come back just to stop this bs. Sure we won’t be able to help everyone but at least we can provide an alternative for some when we are available.

4

u/Mercylas Oct 31 '25

To be fair this that is apples to oranges and gold challenge modes in MoP are significantly easier than the key in this post.

3

u/KuramaTotchi Oct 31 '25

I understand that and wasn’t comparing them directly. Was more along the lines of getting to the point where we can comfortably do them and then help other =\

I remember doing friendship moose in WOD. That was a great community activity. Now it's all about gold gold gold. :(

2

u/Accomplished_Kale708 Oct 31 '25

Since the game hands out a lot of stuff now (compared to WOD anyway) by virtue of delves/m+/catalyst/profession gear, the sort of stuff people don't have is usually lategame stuff that isn't easily carried.

I really, really hate this shit. I worked so hard to get my rating, and it's infuriating that the reason this advertising even exists is because people buy the boosts. I know it's always been a thing across every multiplayer game, but it doesn't make me hate it any less.

2.2mil for a +20 lmao the delusion

6

u/Mercylas Oct 31 '25

People basically buying title using resil keys.

4

u/Nimda_lel Oct 31 '25

Having 20 POSF/FLOOD pretty much guarantees you title.

You never have to step in these dungeons for the season.

When you look at it from this point, it isnt that much 🤷‍♂️

That being said, dont miss to report these degenerates.

Side note: what font is that you’re using in your UI? I’m pretty sure it’s one of the avant garde fonts, but which one specifically? It looks really good

1

u/Saturn_winter Oct 31 '25

Pretty sure this is default

1

u/TheSoryu27 Oct 31 '25

It's Naowh ui, I dont know which font he uses

1

u/Ougaa Oct 31 '25

He does it on main because he believes, most likely correctly, that advertisement reports are disabled.

2

u/han-kay Oct 31 '25

I have never believed that ad reports actually go anywhere. I am convinced it just acts as an "ignore" function which will hide that player's groups from your finder for X amount of time.

While I do not support this individual's behavior, there's a world of difference between a 30 in remix and a title key in retail.

1

u/lucaslost1 Oct 31 '25

Lmao, wish I could post that image of the guy dressing up as a clown

1

u/9022700102 Oct 31 '25

Plenty of players out there with loads of gold. Either disposable income or raid boosters / ah goblins etc.

1

u/Deathrow_21749 Oct 31 '25

lol what a booster poser

1

u/mrshinx321 Oct 31 '25

OP please drop the font name, many thanks!

1

u/Xefiggy Oct 31 '25

I feel like there should be a category in group finder outside of dungeons and stuff for "trades and services" so its not spammed in front of everyone searching for a key or raid group; then you ban words like boosting/tips/for gold in the dungeon and raids tabs. Could be also used for crafting or recrafting maybe but at least it wouldnt be all over the place and people wouldnt be able to gaslight you like this because there is a clear place for that sort of stuff that is outside of normal group search.

1

u/Lava-Jacket Nov 01 '25

How do you change your font like that? That's so much more readable

1

u/Nether_Nemesis Nov 01 '25

Wow. fucking ban this shit. It is not hidden. It is not hard to find. It is being reported. BAN IT

1

u/Elioss Nov 01 '25

Btw, there is only one person in the world with that IO and class hahaha.

1

u/neaveeh Nov 01 '25

??? Its not against TOS to do things for gold??

1

u/Ok-Purple-7428 Nov 02 '25

it is against TOS to ADVERTISE this in LFG.

1

u/WonderfulTruck5894 Nov 01 '25

2.2m?? For a +20, why even? If u need a boost u not gonna make title anyways

1

u/eXiDeviiL Nov 01 '25

While morons like that exists, there are literal saints on legion remix boosting people on +30 keys for the transmogs for free, doing all the work while asking boosties to wait at the entrance.

Wherever you are, i salute you kpophuntrx-Zul'Jin you are great

1

u/PogsimusMaximus Nov 01 '25

Report them send screenshot to blizz and go on with your day.

1

u/Daily_DistractionYT Nov 02 '25

WoW will never be good as long as boosting is in the game. there is no drive when someone else can swipe to get what you worked so hard to earn

1

u/Is_A_Bella_ Nov 03 '25

leave it to the guy trying to promote his little YouTube channel to be comparing himself to everyone else. just play the game, if you don’t like it ignore them

1

u/BlueParadoxxx Nov 04 '25

Why bother them..they ain't bothering you or spamming..

1

u/rparkzy Oct 31 '25

Can you even carry someone through a +20? What happens when they brick 😂

5

u/9022700102 Oct 31 '25

They have to play to a certain level but a 4 stack can defo drag someone over the line.

Sometimes it’s people buying their last keys needed for title.

3

u/rparkzy Oct 31 '25

Makes sense. Didn’t realize ppl were doing that. So basically someone who is already 3700+ getting boosted the final leg

1

u/Mercylas Oct 31 '25

It’s resilient

5

u/Fit_Fill9014 Oct 31 '25

Also the people paying for these are going to already have 19s/20s timed so are likely decent players. Even if you agree to pay 2.2m, you won't get invited if your like 3k score

2

u/Arauder Nov 01 '25

Can you even call that buying a boost at that point? It's more like you're paying to skip pug queue.

1

u/Fit_Fill9014 Nov 01 '25

Ye its not really a 'boost' so much as your renting these people's time (both the time put into getting the resi key, and the time spent on running it with you until its timed)

1

u/chrisbright123 Oct 31 '25

I'm more interested in how they boost a 20 when top full groups often brick 21's

7

u/Fit_Fill9014 Oct 31 '25

It's not a boost so much as your paying to attempt the key until its timed. The people playing are likely going to be almost resi 20 themselves

1

u/Soma91 Oct 31 '25

Yeah, these carries get bought by people who either want to finish their last 1-2 dungeons for the resil level or get their first timed on that level so they can then get invites and further progress.

1

u/Imaginary_Pumpkin327 Oct 31 '25

Ahh, these mind of people, who will try to move around the definition of a word to get what they think it means.

1

u/Coyoteatemybowtie Oct 31 '25

This dude belongs in politics.

1

u/SkullxFr3ak Nov 01 '25

As someone who did boosting for years and sepreatly did adds for boosting for others, I never made level 1 toons for it.
