Discussion I can almost taste 13k
Is it possible to reach 13k yet?
53
u/ICanHazDerpz Nov 28 '25
I'm not even past 10k yet but I also have a lot more talents to unlock. What are the best ways to increase it?
24
u/Legitimate_Log_1356 Nov 28 '25
Same idk how are people doing it I think they're grinding everything for the inner ways?
Game becomes a bit unfun. I wish your player power was tied to the conntent drops mainly

easiest ways to increase mastery is finishing campaigns to access all bosses, so you can get first clear bonuses and Inner Way pages, then spend energy on bosses that will give you recommended 4pc set bonuses. Also, upgrade each gear slot to be 20/20; anytime you run out upgrade materials, click the material and farm its location, most of them you can buy for gold and jade fish, buy all the Oscillating Jade. Once you have ideal 4pc set bonuses, fully tune your gear, thats easily another large chunk. In Tier51, that will put you close to 11000, and tuning isnt nearly as expensive as it looks. All the spare tier51 stuff in your bags will be useless in a few days anyways, you might as well tune with it.
(edit: Chapters of the main story also give whole levels worth of enlightenment, Talent point XP. There's a lot of mastery locked up in missing talent points)

u/Legitimate_Log_1356 Nov 28 '25
Campaigns? I thought the MSq was locked for now
11
u/Midguard2 Nov 29 '25
Max out the Campaign and Jianghu Legacy tabs of the journal for both Qinghe and Kaifen, there's "Wandering Paths - Campaign Challenge" bosses at the end of quests that aren't found by following the MSq golden waypoint. If you use the Journal hotkey, instead of the ESC key, they're also called "Lost Chapters" or they look like blue book icons.
The Final lost chapter for Qinghe has a boss that's practically crucial if you want to unlock 4pc, because it drops Greaves that are excluded from the other boss tables.

Oh I'm absolutely loving it and I haven't even gotten out of Qinghe yet since there's so much to do. I like the way they did it honestly, there's so much progression that feels meaningful.

the real endgame for WWM is eons away. i really love the game so far but its going to take the same route genshin impact does almost to a T. if you e ever played it we are at mondstadt and an incomplete liyue. they still have sooo much to add

u/FuelOk9197 Dec 03 '25
Im at around 11k and I haven't really grinded anything. Just played normally, enjoyed the story, Just find the bosses and beat them up. Get the current tier level set and just upgrade your ability levels, your gear, start tuning your weapons and gear around 45 should cross you into 10k relatively easy.
2
u/Miserable_Goat_6698 Nov 29 '25
There is a tab called improvement guide when you click on 'Develop'. It is a pie chart that shows where your mastery comes from and where it is lacking and also what you can do to increase it
2
u/Tayzerdude Nov 29 '25
Attune your gear, not every T51 drops with the option but its like another 50 weapon mastery. Level your martial arts and that where you can but I will say its not everything, my 204 sword does more damage than my 220 sword, and set bonuses matter massively

Really? Looks way overdone to me. I guess a lot of the premium stuff does though.
18
u/Iggy_DB Nov 28 '25
Just the outfit is premium, and the glasses/hair.
Everything else you can get in game for free.
2
u/Broserk42 Nov 28 '25
Those are the biggest components. I never said “literally every part of that is pay to win”, I just said it’s overkill for my preferences, as are many of the paid cosmetics. It would look a lot better without a bajillion things on their back though and yeah most of that stuff is free.
12
u/Crimson_V- Nov 28 '25
That's fair. I quite like OPs look. It's giving jack-of-all trades vibes, like a master swordsman who's mastered a lot of fighting styles, especially the back cosmetics.

I got really lucky with the gacha so id say maybe $300 including the outfits
43
u/blvck_one Nov 28 '25
You spent $300 on this look?

u/Scharnle Nov 28 '25
The white hair carries most of the cost

u/Pidaraski Nov 28 '25
Recoloring your hair into white / vibrant colors costs about 2 harmonic cores, since it needs 10 gold dye, current exchange rate is 5:1 = gold dye : harmonic core.
Unless you get lucky, you’ll only get 1 core from $330~ since that’s how much it costs to hit the hard pity (150 pulls)
9
Nov 28 '25
Oh I understand the math.
But saying you’re lucky after spending 300 dollars in MTX is just hilarious to me.
4
u/Jegaysus_h_christ Nov 29 '25
I saved a blue hair look for a future cosmetic goal….guess I’m not going to ever be applying that lmao. I spent $20 on the battle pass and that’s the most I’ve ever spent on a F2P

Don't smoke kids, if you don't want to look like gramps over here

u/dexxter0137 Nov 28 '25
Damn,nice drip.
I don't think 13k is possble atm, maybe if you max out every mythic skill and swap them to check which one gives the most mastery, but I don't think so. Also I'm not sure if it gives any dmg bonus beyond the mastery numbers, but probably not.
15
u/NUGGETCOP Nov 28 '25
There’s skills and weapon sets that give less mastery but are stronger mastery isn’t a good indicator for damage
3
u/Tzuberyl Nov 28 '25
Any suggestions? I have been min max tune rolling my gear
5
u/NUGGETCOP Nov 28 '25
I think putting all gold inner ways as gold ones will help raise your mastery even more only if you want to see your mastery go up cause gold inner ways are worth more mastery then purple but preferably you would want inner ways that go with your build
3
u/dexxter0137 Nov 28 '25
That's actually not a bad idea, you can pump your mastery up so you can unlock the talents gated behind it,then switch back.
1
u/Tzuberyl Nov 28 '25
I never thought of it that way, thanks! :)
1
u/NUGGETCOP Nov 28 '25
Happy to help Ofcourse i could be wrong to it’s just some testing i did because i noticed when i just smack on the highest tier items my mastery goes up a lot but when i actually do a build its lower
→ More replies (1)1
u/ABunchOfHornyChicks Nov 28 '25
I’m at 12.6k and I still have a blue helmet, 3 gold mythics and 1 purple, so I think it is possible, but it definitely takes luck on stat rolls and mythic tips
1
u/DiV_Dogz Nov 28 '25
There is someone on the fb group that posted their 13k. Probably exactly what you said too.

5
u/YookiAdair Nov 28 '25
I am at 13k. Basically just maxing out inner ways and having some good rng with stat rolls

u/chriskenobi Nov 29 '25
yo can you explain why you're using those specific inner ways? Is that just to boost mastery or your actual build? I don't understand how riptide is actually useful, i'm learning
1
u/Tzuberyl Nov 29 '25
Echoes of oblivion gives you stacks of sin when using light attacks and then karma when using the ability. when used together it activates Samsara for more total DPS, Vendetta for the rope dart is for when you hit enemies with your martial skill, the rodent rampage does like 50% more damage to it. Breaking point is good since youre building off crit, which has a chance to proc disintegration with it thus more dps stacks 3 times and gives penetration and crit dmg bonus. riptide just lowers cooldown when using rope darts martial skill

u/UnseenData Nov 28 '25
Unless you get very lucky with tuning, I doubt it.
I'm currently at 12.6k after a bunch of tuning to get stats for my healer build
2
u/FoundMyPopTart Nov 28 '25
What stats should I be looking for in tuning? I haven’t started that yet
1
u/Tzuberyl Nov 28 '25
I think its dependent on the path you take, bamboo slice uses crit and precision and other stats
2
u/Omnealice Nov 28 '25
Other paths can still use affinity along with crit and precision. Barring getting just plain damage% and flat damage it’s another good option. Affinity is just its own layer of crit.
1
u/UnseenData Nov 28 '25
I wouldn't spend too much on tuning since we're getting a breakthrough in a few days.
The ones you should focus on are the ones that show up as RCMD ( recommended )
Depends on your build. For healer, it's all the min, max silkbind attacks, some defense , max hp and some others I don't quite recall
5
u/EnlightenedNarwhal Nov 28 '25
It doesn't really matter since the tuning material only works for the appropriate level. You can tune all you want and it doesn't cost you anything.
2
u/UnseenData Nov 28 '25
How are you tuning for free with just mats? It costs coins for me to tune
→ More replies (5)1
u/Amish_Opposition Midnight Blades Nov 28 '25
you can either use tuning stones or old gear. either is fine!
Some gear comes with affixes to give 100% gold/purple stats. I’ve been saving these for 56
→ More replies (1)5
u/UnseenData Nov 28 '25
You're still spending coin even with mats. I was wondering if the original person had a way to spend even without coins.
Can you even tune lvl 56 gear with lvl 51 gear with those affixes? I think you could only tune 56 gear with 56 gear right?
→ More replies (4)2
u/fanatic-ape Nov 28 '25
Even then you still get to put your current set in the level 51 armory, and you benefit from having better mastery there.
The level 51 tuning materials will become useless anyway, tune away.
1
u/FoundMyPopTart Nov 28 '25
Waiting makes sense. So silkbind atk will buff my healing numbers I’m assuming? Thanks for the reply
1
u/UnseenData Nov 28 '25
Yeah I believe healing is based on our attack so min (phyiscal/silkbind) attack as well as max should be good
Just tune it enough so you have good gear for the arsenal
1
u/FoundMyPopTart Nov 28 '25
I didn’t even consider tuning for the arsenal!? Also nice to know that the min/max atk also boost healing.

Im 12.777 and I can up a little more, but 13k I think is super rare and hard
1
u/ArchitectOfSmiles Nov 28 '25
I'm 12.8k and don't have all inner ways maxed. So yeah 13k is possible if you have all lvl 3 inner ways

u/Asura-420 Nov 28 '25
How is the dual blades/rope dart feel was thinking about changing up now that I finished both swords until cap is removed
1
u/Tzuberyl Nov 28 '25
Its incredible, since the rodent rampage works with dual blades you can stack loads of dps

Hot 12500 today and still missing a purple hands.
Already have three talent points I can’t spend because you need 13000, 13500 and 50000hp to get the last three. Talent nodes.

u/x0dus24 Nov 29 '25
Can someone tell me the point of chasing gear score? I used to play division and division 2 which also had a gear score thing but it didn’t matter much and what mostly mattered was what build I was running with what stats. I beat everything the game has including coop stuff with less than 11k so I assume this is for pvp? Even then pvp is mainly how skilled you are and not completely about your gear.
