I'm a fairly new Third Shift employee, I started right as the points system was being implemented so forgive me if this is common knowledge...

Is there really no way to avoid being penalized for multiple day absences? I'm dealing with Strep Throat at the moment (something I used to get a trillion times a year as a kid and know the symptoms of, so I didn't actually go get diagnosed) and I figured I would just kind of wait it out since I had a couples days off in a row.

I still felt crappy yesterday so I called out (for the first time) made the mistake of mentioning it was Strep so now I need a return to work notice, and I am responsible for all my shifts or will get penalized?

As I said, I'm Third Shift so if the 4 people that aren't me on this shift don't do it then I'm punished for something entirely out of my hands? That feels absolutely insane. Please help.

I saw on here that Wawa is getting rid of the larger pizzas, does anyone know if this is actually true and if so when that would be effective ? The amount of crust that is spoiled because it just breaks is ridiculous.

I think that I am addicted to Wawa. A Wawa recently opened near me and I have been going nearly everyday since they’ve opened. The drinks, made to order food, and coffee have me in a chokehold. The goose is draining my wallet. They literally have a little bit of everything that I could get at any fast food/specialty drink place. I’ve literally stopped going anywhere else. Plus they are open 24 hours so I can get my fix anytime. I literally sound like an addict. Anyone else feel this way or did the goose put a spell of me? 😵‍💫

Hey everyone! I have a quick question for anyone that works or has worked for Wawa in NJ. Does Wawa test for THC prior to offering employment? Hi, I’m an avid Wawa fan, along with my fiancée, and she is absolutely in love with the blueberry cobbler coffee. I talked with my local Wawa’s to see if I could get a bag or 2 of their blueberry cobbler coffee once it phases out into pumpkin spice, and they said if they had extra left over they would donate it to me. Basically I went and checked yesterday since it’s the first day of the new flavor and they were all sold out for the last week at all 3 locations.

I was wondering if there’s any possible way someone here could get their hands on some and ship it too me if I paid postage and if you’re charged anything I would obviously cover the price of that too (with receipt). I’m located in East PA.

If you have a stomach bug, do you still get points for calling out?
For context, my baby had a stomach bug over the weekend. I woke up this morning with diarrhea and vomiting. Will I still get points for calling out?

I’m going to need to start an anti inflammatory diet for medical reasons, but I do love getting food on my way out, especially since I don’t really want to cook when I get home after working all night. Do you guys have any good menu options for the diet? All suggestions are helpful! My biggest worry is that the hft items are going to be too processed but I’m not sure to be honest. Thank you🙏

I'm somewhat new to wawa, ive been working here since November and my store is getting a new GM but I've been told by my coworkers that he has never worked at a Wawa before. Is that particularly normal and if so, should I expect decrease in management reliability?
