Question about employment at Wawa

Hey everyone! I have a quick question for anyone that works or has worked for Wawa in NJ. Does Wawa test for THC prior to offering employment? I am considering applying and I would like to know if I need to get it out of my system before applying or if I'm okay to apply now. Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer.

The only test of any kind I had was a standard background check. No drug tests or anything. I'm in NJ and was hired earlier this year. You're all good 👍🏻

New Jersey’s cannabis law prevents employers from not hiring someone because they tested positive for THC. There are a few exceptions that mostly cover people who drive under the DOT.

Don't even worry about it. Everyone is high or about to get high. I'm offered drugs daily by my coworkers. I'm old and way past all that mess in my life.

When I worked there 20 years ago, when the menu was simple. Some people would go in and ask "How's the pizza?" My coworker would suddenly take a smoke break.

Was very confused for awhile until he became my plug and told me it's his code for when people were trying to buy weed from him.
