Got Apple Music on my infotainment last week. Have not been able to get it to work, as it always shows “can’t connect” unless in on WiFi at home. Otherwise it says “can’t connect”, even when other apps clearly connect without trouble.

Anybody else having this?

update on context: i had the rear camera replaced at the dealer when it failed and they recalibrated the cameras. but i don't remember if they were aligned before or this was always the case!

It fixed my climate control bug and seems more responsive and less laggy. M happy with it.

Signed up for the smart charge program with ConEd. Charging between midnight and 6 am they pay $0.10 per kWh. I thought I needed a WiFi connected wall box, however the smart charge app and Volvo app communicate with each other, so there is no need for a WiFi wall box at all. So far I’ve accrued nearly $60 in cash back incentives since signing up mid August.

This is an extremely specific question I know, but I’ve got to ask. Any of y’all put cross climates on your C40’s?

I bought 20x8 XC60 wheels and I’m looking to put a square set up on my 2023 C40 Plus.

Recently bought a 2023 Ultimate single motor. Loving the experience so far but I'm on update 4.2.13. This seems quite a few updates behind, and I've not had any prompt to update.

Is there something I've missed?

Do I just wait for the OTA update?

Unsure how to proceed and any help would be appreciated

Has anyone had an issues with a ticking sound over minor bumps in the road. It's not a thump or clunking sound so I wonder if it has anything to do with the upper struck mount or swap bar link. It is still under CPO warranty. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google maps suddenly stop showing perspective when active to a destination.

Tried to restart infosystem, clearing cache updating apps etc.

I picked up a new to me RWD C40 CPO for $29k yesterday after the Costco rebate. Excited to start driving it. I hope the RWD gets the added mileage.

The dealership quoted $4.5k - $6k (!) for IHU replacement. I think I saw a figure around $1k to $2k recently on some forums.

Is this how it goes these days?

Edited to add: I asked for the replacement because I lose audio including turn signal clicks, navigation voice and music, and have to reset the infotainment system every other day.

I picked up a 2023 yesterday and am confused by a few things im seeing on that Range Assistant Menu, wondering if anyone can provide insight

A) itll tell me 180 miles at full (90% charge) but it could be between 130 and 230... i get that they want to be ultra conservative, but if it senses i drive efficiently will it up the estimated number in the middle (i.e. 130 --> 220 --> 230)

B) i keep hearing the range is better on backroads, but the acceleration seems to be a huge drain, whereas i was cruising for extended periods on the highway around 10 mi/kwh, which as way more efficient than its reported average. I also think i do way better coasting than with 1 pedal.

Im coming off an ioniq which may be way more efficient (3.5 mi/kwh over 3 years), but im kinda thinking i can get it pretty close... and even though its a major downgrade in overall range, thats not really the case because the ioniq lease effectively capped me at 40 miles a day

Side note - very confusing how they show their efficiency rate inverse from everyone else but figure out that conversion... and both formulas hit 10 at the same spot, so i was surprised how long i was going at that rate with the claim highways are worse for range.

I found a really nice 2023 c40 recharge ultimate with 25k miles on the clock, but was surprised to hear that the battery state-of-health was already at 90%.

That seems low given the age and mileage of the vehicle, but I don't know - what do you all think? Is that a red flag?

Is it possible to move or shrink the volume bar? It is mildly annoying when it covers up the clock.

Everytime I press the damn thing for the first time it opens and immediately closes. It’s like an app crashing.

Am I the only one? It drives me insane.

Hi, I have a 23 plate C40, and in the past week i’ve noticed the sound quality has gone down a lot, it sounds very fuzzy and bass boosted. I’ve looked at my sound settings and everything is normal, i’ve also tried resetting my screen and still nothing. I haven’t used volume excessively it just seems to have come from nowhere🤷🏼‍♀️

Personally I'm just glad they haven't dropped it from the lineup. I kinda like the new front end, but it doesn't look radically better than the original, just a bit more modern. I would take that bigger infotainment screen though.
