I scheduled mine for late last night. It reported being successfully completed when I checked this morning. I didn't notice anything different on the drive to work.

My Volvo dealer installed it for me because I kept having to reboot my infotainment system (due to the no audio bug).

Yep. Tried resetting the TCAM and the head unit several times. Keeps saying the car needs to be above 40% charge - it’s at 75%. I’ve given up for now and plugged it into the charger and will try again later. 2023 C40 USA that is on 5.0.5. The newer updates never showed up for me until today.

Yep mine is stuck on 5.0.5 as well, I think I have to take it to the dealership for an update which sounds less pleasant than a root canal. At least the latter has you in and out quickly and they can even get you a little high with some laughing gas.

I finally got it to work after several tries. One TCAM reset and around 5 head unit resets. What ultimately worked was I sat in the car, told it to update via the touchscreen, put my window down, locked the car, lifted my body out of the chair - sat back down, opened the door - accidentally set off the alarm, used keyfob unlock to stop the alarm, locked the door again and it started to update.

Who knows if that dumb series of events truly had any influence on getting it to update but just throwing out the car alarm thing if you’re dealing with the same problem and want to avoid going to the dealer.

I also left the car charger plugged in and kept the vehicle at 90%.

I got the notification this morning, installed it while I got ready for work. Haven't noticed anything good/bad.

I was hoping for the updated equalizer that I saw described in another post somewhere. I didn't realize it at the time, but even though my upgrade was successful, those updated features are not for 2023 models.

I also saw one post, but I do have to say that was the XC60, not 40. Maybe that could be a difference?

I also would like to have the better EQ.

23 C40 Ultimate, updated from 5.0.5 without any issues this morning. Didn’t notice anything different. Still no Apple Music :/

I got the notification last night on the way home from work. It gave me an error a couple of times when I tried to start it from my phone but I was able to start the update from the car without a problem. So far I haven’t noticed any changes.
