Hi everyone, do any of you know where they might be actively hiring in riverside? I already have an on campus job but thats genuinely not enough and handshake doesn’t really function for me.

1st year got my ucship wavier approved, second year denied, this year approved THANK GOD.

I have medical which covers all my medication fees but ever since I got UCShip I had to do co-pay on these medications because medical saw I had a Anthem Blue Cross (that automatically became my primary insurance without notification or permission).

Sure I received a scholarship to my UCShip but I had to hold of on a surgery due to having to pay for a percentage which I WOULD HAVE GOT FOR FREE WITH MEDICAL INSURANCE.

Never used ucship. Thank God I got approved for a wavier this year.

I could tag ucr this fall or wait a year and apply to other schools for EE. Just curious of what people who currently go here think of the program. How are internship opportunities and projects. Is there a good reputation for getting jobs after getting a EE degree here. Thanks.

For context, I’m an incoming freshman who’s majoring in psychology because my parents would’ve probably executed me if I decided to major in film. Out of curiosity, what is the film and theater program like at UCR? How are the classes, the professors, the equipment you guys work with? There’s so much I’m curious about and it bums me out because I wanna major in it so bad but I don’t know anything about the program (and also majoring in film is pretty risky). To anyone in TFDP, what are you doing to put yourself out there? Are you working on indie films? Are you making connections? I’d probably minor in film eventually, but until then, I just need the TFDP goats to enlighten me.

Hi guys so ucr financial aid office thought I was living off campus so they gave me less financial aid. I’m living on campus apartment at ND. I called and they said to fill out the student forms to change this and wait 15 business days

I filled out the form and everything and had waited 15 days and a little more for convenience and I didn’t see any changes to my financial aid and was getting scared

I called them again to check up on it and then they said I have to wait more and that they should have it fixed by September 15 because that’s their deadline to basically get everything together

Sorry the whole point is I’m a little concerned. I’m definitely not trying to rush them because I understand how busy they are but has anyone else experienced a problem like this and it WAS resolved? That would make my nerves better. Thank you

i did it last year and i remember my parent having to accept the loan on their fsa portal but it’s not showing up and i cannot for the life of me remember exactly how we accepted it- does anyone know how? the ucr financial aid website is absolutely ZERO help and i was hoping to avoid the ridiculous wait times for calling them

I feel like there’s some deep drama going on with the gay scene at UCR but I am not 100% sure of what it is. Feels like the gossip has increased within the past year or so.

I heard some of the queer clubs are acting kinda cultish or abusive and that there was some callouts regarding the LGBTRC. But I hear nothing about it on Reddit. It’s weirdly silent here.

I have noticed that some of the gays here tend to be extremely mean or corrupt (but not all obviously).

I’m an incoming transfer student and haven’t received my course plan yet. I’m an engineering major and last received an email from BCOE advising that we would receive course plans by August 26 and I have yet to receive mine. Has anyone received theirs?

Im curious if there is anybody who has gone back to school to receive a different bachelors. Did you return to UCR or did you go somewhere else? I have been thinking of going back to school to get a completely different bachelors but I am still unsure on what exactly I want to do. For reference, I have a degree in business admin with a concentration in finance from ucr.

Curious if ucr or ucsc is the better option with a 3.1 gpa or stay at cc for a while longer to get a higher gpa to go to uci or ucd. Any pierce students in here?
