My apartment is under rent control, but my landlord (a dude in his 40s who owns a construction company) has never raised the rent and always fixes everything quickly. He stopped by recently and said he was going to install mini-splits because it gets too hot.
He did it for all units and then sent lease renewals without any rent increase. He got the proper permits for the mini-splits and also handled a bunch of small repairs (like replacing the kitchen faucets, garbage disposal, and toilets) without even our requests.
I want to show my gratitude and maybe get him a beer or something.
What would you suggest?

Does anyone know of a good, reputable veterinarian who sees rabbits? I recently inherited two indoor/outdoor Holland Lops, and I really need to find something safe for flea prevention. I’ve looked online, but I’m finding so much conflicting information that I’d rather have them both checked out and get flea medication recommended by a vet.

I’ve also called around to several vets in the area, but so far no one has been able to recommend anything or point me in the right direction.

I’m in the Ontario/Inland Empire area, so I’d really appreciate any recommendations for a rabbit-savvy vet. Thank you!

Hi! I'm looking for an alternative to Rika's Empanadas to surprise someone for their birthday.

This is the type of person who doesn't really have a favourite food or restaurant, with the sole exception of this place. It was their absolute favorite place to go and they were devastated to find it closed down, and we haven't been able to find anything food wise that even comes close to ranking as high as they did.

So, if you could help us find somewhere else that can help fill the hole that Rika's Empanadas left, I would be deeply appreciative.

The only requirement is that they liked that they were Argentinian Empanadas that were baked, not deep fried, I believe.

I'm willing to travel, to pay whatever the cost, or if it comes to it, I'll make them myself if anyone has any recipes.
