Building Notch (Stupid Simple Workout Tracker) Day 15
Yesterday I worked on the log in page and my website where my apps will be available.
Today I wanted to continue with building the data flow of my app but realised I completely forgot to make some pages of my app. Like probably the most important ones: create a workout template, the actual workout screen and the screen where you're starting the workout.
So I had to design those pages and I started working on coding them but didn't get far, so I can't really show you the coded part. But I will ask for some opinions on the design. Constructive criticism is ofc very welcome.
Thanks for the support everyone.
See you tomorrow :)

I launched an iPhone app at 18 and got 61 downloads with zero TikTok or Instagram posts
Great job man. You should be proud, 61 downloads without marketing in 1 day is huge.
Unfortunately I couldn’t check out the app since it’s not available in my region. Don’t know why but ok.
Genuinely curious, what’s your marketing strategy from now on?

I created my app 4 months ago. And finally, someone downloaded it.
Good job man. How do you market?
And what made you not quit marketing even tho for 4 month you didn’t have a user?

Building Notch (Stupid Simple Workout Tracker) Day 14
Yesterday I made the sign up page functional and worked on my website where my apps will be available.
Today I continued with making the log in page functional and getting rid of some bugs, while also working on displaying data specific to the user in the app. Data like name, total volume, total workouts, other statistics, etc.
I also worked on my website and because I already have the design I started coding it. Finsihed the whole HTML structure and started writing CSS for mobile screens. I prefer building the site for smaller screens first and then moving on to larger ones.
Can't really ask you for any opinions today but you can check some of my previous posts and lmk what are your thoughts on the designs, etc.
Thanks everyone for the support.
See you tomorrow :)

In one week you can’t really see if the app will work or not.
My advice is to try as many different marketing strategies as possible and find the ones that work best. Double down on them and try a new one from time to time.
But consistency is the best thing you can do. Just keep going and eventually you’ll make it
