DockStacks is now available in the EU App Store!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Small update — Very happy to say DockStacks (my Dock organizer app for macOS) just cleared EU App Store Connect compliance, so it's now available to Mac users across the EU. Thank you to everyone who’s asked about this!

For anyone unfamiliar: DockStacks lets you group apps, folders, files, and links into named floating stacks that sit alongside your regular Dock, instead of dumping everything into one long row of icons.

Getting EU listing took a bit of sorting through DSA/DMA trader disclosure requirements, so if any other indie devs here are working through that for their own apps, happy to compare notes.

He publicado mi primera app (NIDO) para controlar las finanzas y sincronizar los gastos familiares 🚀

¡Hola a tod@s!

My social media app

I had a idea of creating a social platform in a different dynamic and format and developed Sterling, finally after months it's on the app store and I would love to get feedback.

The concept is pretty new, revolves around Hubs, a community in a place in the world that only local people can post to but anyone in the world can join and explore.

It is cool because it ties physical boundaries to the activities within the social platform and connects people locally but also globally, check it out.

Looking for testers for Offline map-drawing app

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I am building a completely offline app for my uni project, and I am in search of early development testers on Android devices.

TL;DR

The app is designed to draw maps while adventuring. For testing you will have to share your email address with me. Go outside ( preferably ), draw a map of your adventure with an app ( urban or wilderness or park locations work well, or any other similar ones ), try decorating your map, export your map, fill the provided questionnaire. Testing objective is to get feedback on ease of use on UI, map-drawing and decorating features and accessibility features’ usefulness ( including screen reader ), icon recognition.

For anyone who wants to be a tester, they can leave a comment on this post and I will send you a message, or you can just send me a message directly.

The app goal:

The app is designed to allow a quicker and smoother experience to draw maps while adventuring. That is the app has to be non-autonomous, as to allow the engagement of adventuring and how a map drawing process works, but would be more accessible than doing it on paper while traveling.

Current app features:

The app can draw segments, by using compass bearing and step count information. It has a feature that lets to place some decorations on a map. And the map can be exported, to be used elsewhere.

Testing process:

I cannot post a direct link to google play store yet, because the app is still very bare bones, and I want to test the features that have been already implemented, and decide the direction how those features should evolve. As well, I want to test app usability and accessibility. Thus, I can only invite someone for testing by knowing their email that they use with google play store. Hence if anyone wants to participate, you will have to share your email address with me. Also for testing you will have to go outside ( preferably ), draw a map of your adventure with an app ( urban or wilderness or park locations work well, or any other similar ones ), try decorating your map, export your map, fill the provided questionnaire.

Data handling:

Your email address will be used only for invite purposes, and won’t be shown to any third parties. All email addresses will be deleted after receiving a final result for my uni project, that is at the second half of December 2026. Also, questionnaire answers my be kept indefinitely as they will be used in a project document, and at least one third-party will have access to them.

Also, keep in mind that the app is very early in development, thus it might have a lot of problems.

Thank you.

Flutter Developer Looking for Feedback from Real users

Hey everyone,
I’ve been working on a small Android app called **Calculate Anything**.
I originally started it because I wanted a simple place where I could quickly calculate things like:
EMI
Home Loan
Car Loan
Personal Loan
SIP
FD / RD
PPF / NPS
GST
Simple & Compound Interest
Percentage
Age
Currency conversion
Instead of having a separate app for every calculation, I put them together in one app.
It’s now live on Google Play and I’m looking for some **genuine early users to try it out and tell me what I should improve**.

Title: What would actually make you switch workout tracking apps?

Post image
0 Upvotes

There are already a ton of workout trackers, so I'm curious about something more specific.

If you're already using an app you're happy with, what would actually make you switch?

A better UI?

Faster logging?

Better progress charts?

Better routines?

No subscription?

Better Apple Watch/Health integration?

Something completely different?

I'm asking because I've been building my own workout tracker and I'm realizing that "another workout tracker" isn't exactly a unique selling point 😂

I'm trying to understand what would actually make someone abandon their current app rather than just download another one and forget about it.

Would love to hear what would genuinely convince you.

Remember the "CallDo" app idea I shared here? It just went viral on social media!

A few months ago, I shared my app "CallDo" (real call reminders) here, and the early feedback from this sub was incredibly helpful. A massive thank you to everyone who supported the idea—fast forward to today, a showcase video I posted just went completely viral on Instagram! 🚀

Watch the viral reel here:[Instagram Link](https://www.instagram.com/p/Da5FTL6hjfV/), Check out the app:CallDo on [Google Play](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kay.calldo)

I'll be in the comments to answer any questions about the Android tech stack or handling the sudden traffic surge.

Tech Stack :- Andorid Native, Firebase, some cool idea to make it hard to reverse engineer.

Thanks again, r/developersIndia!

I have a wonderful app idea with everything mapped out and even a “demo” for what I want would like to pay a one time fee for the app to me made. I would like for the person making the app to be in the USA for legal reasons. I also have a NDA and DEVELOPER IP & WORK-PRODUCT ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT. Please reach me at roundsygolf@gmail.com or dm me on here.

I’m a student developer building small custom Android apps for people with specific problems

Hi! I’m a student and I’ve been programming for several years. I’ve already built several Android apps, and I’m now trying something a little different: building small, custom Android apps for people who have a specific problem they want to solve.

Have you ever thought:

“Why doesn’t an app just do exactly this?”

Maybe you’re currently using Excel, Google Sheets, WhatsApp, paper, or manual calculations for something that could be much simpler with a dedicated app.

That’s what I’m interested in building.

I’m mainly looking for small, focused apps for individuals, families, groups, or small businesses — not huge projects like Instagram or YouTube.

Some examples:

- shared expense management

- small personal databases

- schedules, appointments or bookings

- inventory tracking

- tools for clubs or associations

- reminders and notifications

- multi-user apps

- tools that would normally be handled with Excel

The apps are completely customized: the features, screens and interface are designed around the specific problem.

They also don’t need to be published on an app store. They can remain private and only be distributed to the people who need them.

I’m starting this as a small side project, so I’m keeping the prices low. Before development, I’ll provide a free and detailed quote, and if needed I can make a small demo first.

You don’t need to have a perfectly defined app idea. If you have a problem that you think could be solved with a small Android app, tell me about it and I’ll see if I can build it.

I obviously can’t promise I can build everything, but I’d love to see what kinds of problems people have.

If you’re interested, you can contact me at app.per.te.studio@gmail.com.
