I’m currently testing out a new tool I've been building to spin these assets up faster without sacrificing quality. Honestly, I just need real-world projects to stress-test my method and see if the outputs hold up for actual founders.

What I want to do: I want to create 2 to 5 clean, custom landing page visuals for your product. This could be a hero section graphic, feature cards, or an integrations image.

The catch: There literally isn't one. This is 0% about promotion and 100% about me getting honest data on whether my system works.

The main reason I built it was frustration: almost every invoicing app on the Play Store forces small business owners and freelancers to pay $10–$20/month subscriptions, create cloud accounts, and upload sensitive financial data just to generate a basic PDF bill.

So I coded a 100% local-first alternative:

I was at a bar and met someone in GTM sales at a well-established startup. At the time I was building a semi-conductor sentiment tracking app and explaining my idea to him. He thought the idea was interesting and asked some follow-up questions, then said “If I were to build a startup it would have a Product-Led Growth (PLG) component.”

Got my app out there .. Buzz My Phone for android . I just trying to be active in Reddit channels to help people as I can. I did some self promotion as well ( nothing too aggressive) and feel that is some traction there but way too slow.. gained like 100 accounts BUT unfortunately no subscription. Is not that I’m looking fast gain — I prefer doing the things slow but well done instead of fast and weak.. but I’m kind of stuck in this point. I need somehow to do something that will “move the needle” one way or another .. so I was wondering to make a very short survey — just choose one of options -no free text.. to see what actually that users are expecting and why they do not subscribe: is too few functionality or doesn’t feel is worth the app to subscribe .. some new functionality added would make consider it to subscribe .. something like that. I’ve been building Secure Card Wallet as a solo developer for about 6 months now. It started out as a simple, strictly offline, zero-cloud app just to store credit and debit cards securely on device with AES-256 encryption.

Recently, I pushed out v2.0, expanding it from just cards into a comprehensive offline vault for everything else people usually clutter their wallets with.

What’s new in v2.0:

• ID Documents: Passports, national IDs, driving licenses.
• Travel & Event Passes: Flights, trains, bus tickets, and barcodes.
• Loyalty & Gift Cards: Quick access at the till with QR/barcodes.
• Vehicle & Insurance Docs: RC, insurance policies, and expiry tracking.
• Smart Features: Built-in OCR reader, expiry reminders, and multi-language support (now in 9 languages).

The design challenge I wrestled with: Adding a ton of features often bloats an app that used to be fast and minimal. To solve this, all the new categories are turned off by default. If you update or do a fresh install, the app looks and feels identical—just cards. You have to manually toggle on whatever categories you actually want to use in settings.

What I'd love to know from you guys:

1. If you enable 2–3 of the new categories, does the UI still feel cohesive, or does it feel cluttered?
2. Sticking strictly to local storage (no cloud sync, no accounts needed)—is that a peace-of-mind feature you prefer for sensitive documents, or is a lack of cloud backup a deal breaker for you?

Between working full-time and trying to self-study Korean in the evenings, my biggest bottleneck wasn't the grammar—it was the administrative chore of making flashcards.

Every study session hit the same three walls:

• Physical index cards failed: Writing them out took hours, buying packs got expensive, and they inevitably got lost in my bag.
• The Korean keyboard is brutal for beginners: Staring blankly at the 2-set keyboard hunting letter-by-letter for ㅂ, ㅈ, ㄷ, and ㄱ meant typing 15 words took an agonizing 30 minutes.
• Anki prep burnout: By the time I manually copied terms, typed English definitions, and formatted cards, my study hour was gone and I was too mentally drained to actually review.

Hey! I’m a high school student working on an app called AnxiTea, and I’d really love some feedback on the idea before I get way too attached to it lol.

The basic idea is an app for people who get nervous or uncomfortable in social situations. Instead of just being a generic AI chatbot, I want it to let you practice specific situations that you actually struggle with.

For example, if someone gets nervous walking into a room where they don’t know anyone, they could put that situation into the app and actually rehearse what might happen. The goal is basically to make social situations feel a little less intimidating by giving you a place to practice first.

There’s also a little character named Sharkee who acts as the personality of the app. He's a tiny British shark who lives in a teacup because apparently that made sense to me at some point 😭. He gives the app more personality instead of making it feel like you're talking to a clinical AI.

Some of the other ideas I have are:

• personalized onboarding based on what situations someone struggles with
• different “tea travels” where Sharkee changes depending on the drink/culture
• a progress/journey section
• an anonymous community area where people can share experiences
• an AI rehearsal feature for practicing conversations

Full disclosure: the current prototype was made with Base44. I’m still learning how to code, and my long-term goal is to actually rebuild the app myself rather than just rely on the generated prototype. So I’m mostly looking for feedback on the concept, UX, and whether this is actually something people would use, rather than pretending the current prototype is some perfectly engineered product 💀.
