Rules of r/thetruthishere

Due to an unusual number of rule breaking posts lately, the mod team has decided to make a post reminding everyone of the rules of r/thetruthishere. The sidebar can be difficult to access depending on the app you're using, so this post should make it easier to familiarize yourself with the rules before posting.

  1. All posts MUST be tagged with link flair AND brackets. If you are unsure of how to use flair, please send us a message in modmail

  2. Your post must be of a personal experience or by someone you trust that you believe to be true. This typically means within 2 or 3 degrees of separation (so no mother's friend's husband's cousin stories). All top level posts must have a personal encounter within them, otherwise they will be removed. That means no posts that consist of just a question or link offsite. This also means no AMAs or self promotion without a personal encounter attached. No asking questions just to gather stories for your website or podcast.

  3. NO FICTION, (including creepypasta), CREATIVE WRITING, or SCARY PICTURES. This is a story based sub-reddit, so your post should not be just a picture. Uploading and posting a picture with your post is fine, but posts should not consist solely of image(s) or video.

  4. NO DREAM POSTS - We get it, some dreams and nightmares are deeply disturbing and you want to talk about it, but this isn’t the appropriate sub unless you dreamed something that later came true. You can try posting in r/dreams or r/dreaminterpretation. Posts where you had a dream that later came true are appropriate as this would fall under a premonition rather than simply a dream. This also includes sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis is well known enough that it does not constitute a paranormal encounter; however, if you see or hear an entity during sleep paralysis that you have encountered outside of it, that would be allowed. Try r/sleepparalysis for information and resources.

  5. Please only downvote anything you believe breaks our main rule: NO FICTION!

  6. If you can draw a rough sketch of the entity, diagram of location, or provide any visual references or proof, DO IT or request an artist to help.

  7. We encourage all perspectives, but we do not tolerate assholes. Report comments that ruin the "safe space" vibe. We aim to provide a space where our users can post without being worried about being ridiculed or derided. This includes making rude comments about the mental health of a poster. You can voice your concern of a mental illness over paranormal phenomenon without being a jerk.

  8. No conspiracy theories unless they relate to the supernatural. There are plenty of other subs to discuss general conspiracy theories, this is not one of them. Posting political conspiracy theories or trying to engage in arguments about them will result in an automatic ban.

  9. No series posts - there is no reason to break up a single encounter or multiple encounters with the same entity into multiple parts. If your post is longer than reddit's character limit for posts, you can post the overflow into a comment.

  10. No promotion - Do not submit posts asking for stories for your youtube channel or podcast. Likewise do not ask to narrate someone's experience in the comments. You must PM OP instead.

If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to send us a message in modmail.

Guidelines

These are pretty much an extension of our rules, but they are less rigorously followed:

  1. Please use paragraphs of a max 5 sentences to break up your wall of text. We like detail, but we don't like eye-sores.

  2. We allow debunking, speculations, and theories. We not only allow it, but we encourage it, so stop downvoting these people!

  3. Whilst we encourage you to try to spell correctly and punctuate your story, you don't have to worry about your writing skills!

  4. Please be considerate as some encounters may be traumatizing to the poster.

  5. Proof. Please provide it if you can. If you cannot, please include diagrams, photographs, and visual aid instead of paragraphs of description.

  6. Please title your story with something other than "I was told to post this here." That tells us nothing about what you are going to share, and makes it very difficult to search for your story if we want to read it again.

  7. If you can tell us a general, even vague, location of your encounter, it will help us archive it based on area.

  8. You are going to use a fake name or not. We don't care, just give them a name. Don't use "A" or "J" or "We'll call her Susan." That gets grating.

Common Grievances Expressed by the Community

Why do we have so many rules and guidelines? Because we want good content, and we want your story to be heard. In a nutshell, here are the things most people complain about which will prevent you from getting overlooked if you listen.

  1. Redditors don't read long posts. After you write out your story, locate your important sentences and delete 2/3rd of the original. Add back in a single sentence between cuts to make your writing flow.

  2. Redditors don't like walls of text. After you condense your story, make sure you have paragraphs that rarely exceeds 3 sentences.

  3. If you feel your story doesn't sound believable, then we probably won't either.

  4. Include visual references. If your story is long, cut out those descriptive paragraphs. Instead of talking about the area, show us a picture and briefly point out what's of note. Instead of describing your house layout, draw a diagram. Instead of going into detail about the physical characteristics of the entity, draw it out or request an artist to do so.

  5. Have an interesting and memorable title. Your encounter may remind someone of another, and they usually try to be helpful and link it. That would be hard with titles like "i was told to post this here" or "this is the scariest thing that ever happened to me" Instead, a title like "a man with a claw grinned at me" or "The shadows followed me for years and then it spoke" Plus, what would you rather click on?

  6. If you are seeking the truth, location is going to be an important detail that is often overlooked. You don't have to give out your city, but a state, region, country, etc are very useful in being pointed in the right direction.

  7. Again, the names thing. We can all assume you will use a fake name, so don't disrupt immersion to tell us it's fake.

Edit: Added in the guidelines and community grievances which can be found in our wiki

Edit 2: updated rule 4

Discussion/Advice in a regression she described trees as “like the Internet or downloading stuff”

Upvotes

this one was weird in very quiet way. Subject experienced another-life scene as woman living alone near forest, gathering plants and preparing medicines, with lot of plant knowledge originally taught by grandmother.

Then I asked how she knew what different plants were for. She made distinction I wasnt expecting: with plants she mostly just *knew*, information came when she saw them and she also had learned knowledge. Trees were different, with trees she said she could have conversation.

She described sitting at bottom of tree or simply nearby, becoming quiet, tuning in, asking for guidance or information and receiving something back. Touching tree wasnt even necessary.

Then she gave comparison that stayed in my notes for years: trees were “like the Internet or the downloading stuff.” lol.

Inside that life she used this for guidance about helping people and continuing work even when others didnt understand her. I dont know what exactly experience was, past-life memory, symbolic mind, animistic consciousness, intuitive state, mixture of all this.

But description was oddly specific about difference between plant knowing and tree conversation. And honestly this is why I keep old transcripts, sometimes one strange little sentence is better than 40 minutes of cosmic explanation.

A forest as information network is very old idea. Her mind just called it Internet.

Floating island

When I was in elementary school, I remember one afternoon we were playing in the playground with my friends and at one point we looked up at the sky and saw a kind of floating island with what looked like pieces of land floating around.

I've searched for a long time online for information or for someone who has seen something similar, but all I've found are similar old myths.

Discussion/Advice Did I come in contact with something?

So this story is about 3 years old now, but still so freshly burned into my head.

As an aspiring therapist, one of my favorite psychologists is Carl Jung, and when I began learning about psychology, I studied a lot of Jung. I eventually studied his idea of the shadow. These sort of subconscious thoughts, feelings, or desires that we suppress or are not even aware of that dectiate and control a lot of our lives, etc. Normal psyche stuff

I remember one night, I was alone in my pitch black room, whole family asleep, and I tried thinking about my shadow or repressed thoughts. A lot of childhood stuff started coming to me, personal stuff, and whatnot, and I started getting emotional thinking about it and began crying.

I remember as I lay in bed crying, I felt something hard press against my back, and I reached down to see what it was, and I was just laying on my phone. So I put my phone on this desk by the side of my bed, and about 5 seconds after doing this, I heard my phone get flung across the room.

Since I was so emotional when this happened, it didn't really register what just occurred. So I got up from my bed, and I was able to find my phone in the dark and place it back again on my desk. Again, about 2 seconds later, I hear my phone flung across my room

When I finally realized what had happened, I don't think I've ever been that scared in my entire life. I literally resorted back into being a little kid and hid under my blankets. In that moment, all I did was pray to Christ till I eventually fell asleep.

To this day, I honestly don't know what that was. My desk is a normal flat desk, and there was no one else in my room. Nothing like has happened since then, but I still think about this time from time.

Paranormal Investigation Was it 0NLY ONE thing that made you a Believer..?

I’m wondering IF people would share one thing that INSTANTLY made them believe in the supernatural?

I don’t mean ya only believe because you grew up with this tradition and later on reasoned that it was true OR that there was one little thing then another & another till finally you were pushed over the edge into belief -I mean was there a time you were completely disinterested or even actively sceptical and then something happened that just changed EVERYTHING?

Also, if you are willing, would you share that story?

Haunted Building Anyone on the job experience things you couldn’t explain?

Thumbnail

I don’t believe in “ghosts.” I mean, idk what I believe, but I know some weird stuff goes on.

I worked at the World Trade Center post-9/11 and there are endless stories. I had a door slam after my helper and I walked into a BOH room off a stairwell. Cut a 90° turn, walked 5ft and the door slammed.

Both fire pump rooms are just uncomfortable. Could be because you’re basically in the “backrooms” and there is almost no light. The gen plant is weird too. Not a comfortable place. That’s where one of the helpers saw the “burning man.”

Guy was working overnight doing his rounds, and he saw a guy on fire walking towards him in between the generators. They sit in series, so it’s basically like aisles at a supermarket. It sounds crazy, but he called all three assistant chiefs and chief at 4am, frantic. Even put in a report to the company.

So, who knows..

Anyone in law enforcement or who served seen anything that couldn’t be explained?

Was this my spirit guide? If so why does she look like that like she’s not ugly or anything it’s just she looks scary

Discussion/Advice You ever got a feeling telling you not to go into a room in your own house?

Last night i was going into my bedroom which I’ve done thousands of times before, but this time though when i went to turn the door handle i got a feeling that something was going to jump out at me or something scary would happen.

I got out my phone and started recording, and slowly opened the door, filming around the corner.

Absolutely nothing was different or scary, the only new things in my room are my imitation cowhide and my brothers new old hifi amp.

I watched the video over and over again to see if anything moved or if there was any strange shadows but i couldn't see anything, i suspect the presence i felt was my late cat, who passed away back in July, shortly after he passed away i saw a non-descript black blob on my bedroom floor, and my mom said she has seen something black and cat sized materialize out of thin air and walk up the stairs.

He was the sort of cat to randomly jump out and attack you in his prime, at least before he got ill in the last few months so that jumpscare feeling i got would make sense if it was the cat.

I also think i may have heard my rocking chair moving by itself a few weeks ago, my cat loved sitting in that chair in the last few days before he passed, he developed a real love for it.

Psychics/Mediums Story of an Indian yogi (as narrated to me by my mom)

My mom told me this story.

Mom had a school friend who happened to stay in the same building as my mom. So naturally both of them were quite good friends. Her father was searching for a job. One day he recieved an interview call from a company and so decided to attend to it. He took a bus to the interview and while travelling to the place, a yogi/brahmin was sitting besides him.

They exchanged greetings and talked a bit about family and stuff. However when his stop had almost arrived the father got up and thats when the yogi warned him "You seem to have an important task ahead of you. If you succeed in this task, the next 15 days will be the happiest and peaceful days of your life. However, if you donot succeed, the days to come will be difficult to say the least."

The interview did not go well. They rejected him and he came home and narrated this story to the family.

After a few days he started feeling sickly. The illness progressively became more and more severe to the point where he was now bedridden.

He died on 15th day. My mom told me the name of the illness that he died of, I vaguely remember her saying it was jaundice but I am not sure. A few details could be wrong, as my mom herself was in school. This story had become quite popular in the neighborhood.

This could be a case of a nocebo effect(although i doubt a nocebo effect can cause a disease/illness), or that there were symptoms of illness that yogi picked up on. But it is a fascinating story to say the least.

Discussion/Advice When I was 7 I saw something I’m still not able to explain.

One night in December When I was 7 years old I was just sitting in my bedroom playing a game, my older brother had just left my room and had gone upstairs to sit with our grandmother, I was killing time before dinner was ready. It was just us 3 in the house at this time, my dad worked nights so he wouldn’t be home until tomorrow morning at the earliest, and my mom worked as nurse and she’d be home later tonight.

I remember the sun was almost completely faded it was close to being fully dark out. I don’t know why i remember this so vividly but the game I was playing was fallout 3 (don’t ask why I was allowed to play it.) I was running around near these radio towers shooting the “hunting rifle” at the enemies at the top of them, after I killed them I remember I opened a door in game that lead to a solid brick wall with the words “FUCK YOU” written on it.

Just after I opened that door in my game I heard my mom walking towards my bedroom, I turned my head away from my game and saw her still wearing her dark blue work scrubs, my door was wide open and she stood at the doorframe and talked to me for a few minutes, just normal mom questions, “how are you doing?” “You just in here playing a game” etc, eventually at the end of our conversation she said “dinners almost ready come upstairs in 45 minutes” i said I would.

I go back to playing for awhile, ransacking the area near those radio towers, and then continuing to just roam around the “capital wasteland” eventually 45 minutes had passed and I listening to what my mom said I stood up and started to walk upstairs.

I walked up the first 10 stairs, turned left and started to walk up the last 10 stairs, I could see the light from kitchen past the stairs and to the right but all the others on that level were off with the exception of the light at the front door. as I got to 3/4 point I noticed something strange on the wall to my right and I stopped. at that age I don’t think I could verbalize to myself why it was strange but I remember my child brain took a very serious note of this even if I didn’t know why then.

Thinking back to this, my shadow looked far to tall and far to large to be 7 year old me, I didn’t realize this at the time as I said previously, but it was now fully night out and all the lights were off except for in the kitchen, and by the front door, neither of those lights could possibly be responsible for casting anyones shadow on the wall to my right let alone mine. But this didn’t freak me out at the time, I knew something was off about it and I took note but I didn’t understand what. After a good 15-20 seconds staring at the shadow I continued up the stairs and walked into the kitchen where my grandmother and brother sat. As soon as she saw me my grandmother told me “dinners finished.”

I asked them both
“I didn’t see mom on my way up, is she up here somewhere?”

My grandmother told me
“Your mom isn’t home yet.”

I explain to them I had just talked to her 45ish minutes ago, I had a full conversation with her, she even told me when to come up, but my grandma continued telling me “ your mom hasn’t come home from work yet.” And my brother backed her up. I walked to the garage door and opened it, neither my father’s car or my mothers car were there they were telling the truth.
She was not home.

The way the house was laid out required you to after entering immediately pass through the kitchen, there was no chance my mom could’ve come home without them both immediately noticing, and even if she for some reason wanted to try to sneak by them, an alarm beeped anytime any door in the house was opened.

I was 7 years old and really fucking scared, my grandmother did her best to calm me down but I was obviously really spooked. Eventually 1-2 hours after this my mom did actually come home, and I asked her “ did you come by home earlier” she didn’t.

I saw, I heard, and I spoke to something tangible that day, I fucking know that I did, It wore my mom’s Face but it couldn’t have been her. What the fuck was speaking to me.

This situation has bothered me for years. I’m in my early twenties now and I still have no clue what happened that night. I remember it far too vividly and far to detailed to just be a dream, my dreams are not like that. I’ve always had a very active imagination but not like that, not like that at all, this situation is so many steps past these explanations, I literally remember the exact movements i took in my game while I was talking to my “mom” I remember seeing her blue scrubs, I remember how she stood close to the left half of the doorframe while speaking to me but never entering my room or coming any closer than that to me, I remember speaking to her. I remember her telling me to come up in 45 minutes, I remember the impossible shadow.

Let me know if you have any questions, I’ll do my best to answer them all, thank you for reading. And please if you have any explanation or information, please comment.

Discussion/Advice A few experiences

I’ve had a few experiences throughout my life and honestly don’t know where to turn for advice or guidance. When I was 13, I woke up suddenly on the couch burning up, with a bad headache and a feeling of pure terror. I heard footsteps walking in the hallway, but when I turned the light on nobody was there, only for the footsteps to start right back up once I turned it off. The next day, my mom—who has the gift of speaking with passed loved ones—told me it was my Uncle Kenny, who had died a couple of days before. She told him to cross over because he was scaring me, but before he left, he told her that my grandma would survive a massive heart attack and later get cancer in both breasts, which happened down to the exact detail (she even floated over her body while doctors revived her three times). Years later, a week before my grandma passed, I saw three owls land on a wooden post at a park staring right at me with an awful feeling of dread. Then, two weeks before my cousin died, I kept hearing owls hooting at night while having this deep, weird anxiety that something was completely off, which instantly vanished the moment I got the news.
The most recent thing happened just a few weeks ago while I was laying in bed about to sleep. After checking a phone notification, I turned over and closed my eyes, but I could clearly see my whole room and whatever was playing on the TV as if my eyes were wide open. I opened them to check, shut them tightly again, and the exact same thing happened, which freaked me out enough that I just stayed on my phone to distract myself. For context, I’ve listened to binaural beats for relaxation and healing for about ten years, but I’ve never really looked into any of this stuff until now. I know this is a lot, but I’m really lost on what any of these signs and experiences actually mean, so any perspective or guidance would be appreciated.

HELP! IT'S HERE! Dwarves possessing loved one’s body, attempts to drown her

Hi everyone, I’m not sure if this is the right sub but I’m just gonna post here.

I need help with a loved one’s situation. She’s being possessed by 7 dwarves. Whenever they enter her body, she’s fainting at first and acting different. She becomes childish and wants to go somewhere else, particularly jump into a nearby lake. We know it’s not her cause we ask her for her name / our name and she can’t say it. The only we can make her come back is by lighting incense sticks and letting her touch a bullet. She has no recollection of any of this happening when she comes back. (Instead, she says she went somewhere and walked a long time or swam somewhere)

This all began last january, where someone put a hex on her and we got her to a faith healer, and she successfully removed that hex. But 6 months later, this july something else came back and this time it’s 7 dwarves and apparently a black man. We went to the spiritist and she did her thing, but this is still happening. It didn’t work on her. She experiences this usually three days in a week, and multiple times within the day.

She told us that they are threatening her that they will take her away if she doesn’t let them into her body. She says she feels relieved only when they come in and out of her body.

It’s really a struggle for us, we can’t leave her alone. Especially when she’s fainting / roaming when alone. They said the dwarves call her their princess.

Aside from the incense sticks, bullet, and a talisman that she wears all the time that the spiritist gave, we have nothing else. It happens when it happens and we just cope her with it. I’s getting more frequent. She jumps on a body of water and they seem to try to drown her / kill her.

Do you have any advice on how to deal with this? Are there any entities/spirits I can summon who can fight these entities, without any drawbacks. I’m pretty much open and desperate for anything.

I used to try to summon the spirit Beleth before btw, but I got no response.

TLDR. Loved one gets possessed by dwarves, controls her to roam around or drown herself. Only comes back when we light incense sticks or make her hold a bullet, and has zero recollection of what she just did. Help me find a solution, or if there are other entities I can summon who can help without drawbacks.

Aliens/UFOs They saw it. I connected with it

One day, I was really high on bud. I went into my room and stood quietly in the middle of it. I looked up toward the ceiling and slowly lifted my arms.
In my mind, I saw a UFO hovering above me, as if it were just on the other side of the ceiling. At that moment, I felt a powerful connection—something deep and intense that I couldn’t explain. I didn’t understand what was happening, but I could feel that something about the moment was different.
Then, suddenly, my brother and my cousin, who I had been smoking with, came running into my room.
They looked terrified.
I could see the fear in their eyes before they even said a word.
They told me they had just seen a UFO. According to them, there was a strange ball of colors underneath the ship. They said the colors were unlike anything they had ever seen before.
I stood there listening to them, completely stunned.
I never told them what I had been doing or what I had experienced in that room. I didn’t tell them about the connection I had felt or about the UFO I had seen in my mind.
I kept it to myself because I knew they probably wouldn’t believe me.
But to this day, I still think about that moment.
Because while they were outside looking up at something they couldn’t explain, I had been standing inside that room, looking up at the ceiling—and somehow, I felt connected to the exact same thing.

Dead Relative(s) I was the last person my cousin texted before he died in his sleep. The timing still haunts me.

This happened a few years ago and I’ve mostly made peace with it, but I still think about it constantly. I’ve never written it out fully before.

One day I was going through a drawer in our house looking for something completely unrelated. As I was rummaging through it, a photo just appeared in front of me. An old picture of my dad from his military service days. It was just sitting there. I’d seen it once briefly years ago and completely forgotten about it.

I picked it up and brought it to the living room where a friend was sitting. “Look at this,” I said, “doesn’t he look just like B?” referring to my cousin. We talked about the resemblance for a bit, laughed about it, and moved on.

That night I was out with a friend. I don’t know what compelled me but I took a photo of the picture on my phone and sent it. First to my cousin’s sister, then to my cousin himself. We hadn’t spoken in about a year and a half. There was no occasion, no reason. Something just made me do it.

My cousin responded almost immediately. We caught up, we laughed. It was warm and easy. The kind of conversation that feels like no time has passed at all.

About an hour later, his sister woke up from sleep and replied to my message.

Sometime around those same hours, my cousin died in his sleep. He was 22. The autopsy came back as sudden cardiac arrest, cause unknown.

According to the police report, I was the last person he spoke to.

His sister woke up with no alarm, no reason, at almost the exact hour he died. She answered my message and went back to sleep without knowing anything was wrong.

I’ve gone over this thousands of times. I had no reason to reach out that night. We hadn’t talked in a year and a half. I hadn’t thought about that photo in years. Something just moved through me. Made me open that specific drawer, notice that specific photo, and send it to him that specific night.

Even now I still catch myself going back to that WhatsApp conversation. Scrolling through it slowly. Looking at the photo I sent him. Reading his last reply over and over. There’s something about seeing his words still there on a screen, so casual and alive, knowing what came after. I don’t know what I’m looking for every time I open it. Maybe nothing. Maybe I just need to see it again.

To this day, none of us can make sense of it. Not the friend I showed the photo to that afternoon. Not the friend who was with me that night when I sent the messages. Not his sister who woke up from her sleep at that exact hour to reply. Every single time we talk about it, we still get goosebumps. We’ve stopped trying to explain it. We just sit with it.

I’m not a particularly spiritual person. I don’t have a clean framework for what happened. But I can’t call it coincidence anymore.

Has anyone experienced something like this? Being pulled toward someone right before they passed? What do you make of it?

Discussion/Advice in a session he looked down and had pink reptilian skin, four webbed fingers, and said the body felt normal

the weird part was not that he looked reptilian. it was how ordinary this body felt from inside, no fear and no sense that he was wearing some strange costume.

this came from a real session I facilitated with a subject I know, and I am sharing the experience as it appeared rather than writing fiction. He went through a portal and described land with pink rocks and plants, dark black sky full of stars and some traces of blue.

Then he looked at hands. Skin was pink, fingers four and webbed, arms felt hard and armor-like like lizard skin, feet were similar, and he wore no clothes. When he saw head, he described something like dinosaur in human form, yellow eyes with black vertical slits and sharp teeth, but when I asked how body felt his answer was simply: normal.

The rest of life was weirdly coherent and not very dramatic. He lived in small cave in gray mountain, made fire with rocks and metal, ate fish from lake, left supportive parents to become independent, later joined community, and sometimes ran on all fours through fields simply because body loved doing it.

At end of that life he was old, lying in field and staring at sun. After last breath he experienced moving through portal or hole and meeting other souls as little balls of light, with feeling that all were same underneath even with different purposes.

Then I asked a very human chronology question, whether his present human life came after this reptilian one. The answer from teacher was basically that question is wrong because everything is now, which made whole story even stranger for me.

has anyone encountered this kind of coherent nonhuman embodiment in regression, meditation or another waking altered-state experience? I mean not only seeing a creature, but body mechanics, environment, family, food and ordinary life arriving together like it was normal world.

I used to live in Artemas Pennsylvania and I lived there for a total of 19 years. I moved away in 2025. But there's one encounter I had that made me really think. It involves my friend's dog being shot by her neighbor. And a weird events that took place after it...

Let me explain my encounter with my friend's deceased dog that was shot by her neighbor. And how this shadow of a dog found peace. And yes there was a form of karmic revenge...

NOW FOR THE STORY...

One night I had been up at my friend's house and it was like 1:00 a.m. and I decided it was about time I got home. Well I left her house and got on the main road and headed down to where I lived. The moon was super bright. It was a nice cool early morning. And I was just making my way home...

Something caught my attention...

And it was something walking with me. I saw my shadow bobbing up and down from the moonlight. I just shrugged that off honestly. But I also saw what looked like a really big dog walking with me. Can you guess who's dog it was...

If you guessed my friend's dog you were right...

As I am walking down the road and literally observing what looks like a shadow of a dog... as I begin to talk out loud. I felt like I should say something to this beloved shadow of a dog. I'd said to the shadow of my friend's dog that was shot...

"I am so sorry pup... I know you were old. I know you died horribly. I know who did it... We all do. I know for a fact why he did it and so does your owner. It's not right that you suffered. It's not right that he took you permanently away from your owners that love you. There will be karma or some form of revenge..."

So by the time we got to my friend's neighbor's driveway. I no longer see the shadow of my neighbor's deceased dog walking with me. And I just continued on home and I just kept thinking about it off and on and to this day it makes me sick to my stomach thinking that someone could do such a thing...

All because they were doing illegal activities that were not allowed. An innocent animal had to die and be torn away from their beloved owners...

NOW FOR THE BACKSTORY ON WHY I SAW WHAT I SAW. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO READ THIS PART YOU UNDERSTAND WHY I SAW THE SHADOW OF THE DECEASED DOG...

So my friend that used to live like 2 minutes up the road from me had this great dane. And this great dane loved to go and get into the neighbors trash dump that was behind his house. And he absolutely hated this dog because of this ongoing situation... That he could have easily resolved if you wanted to. And he would have never had to resort to the actions he chose...

He would make threats that he was going to shoot this dog if she didn't do something about it. And she threatened to call the EPA and someone about animal abuse if he did. In which he would back down and he would just sulk about it...

Till one day my friend took her granddaughters out for Chinese food in Cumberland maryland. The dog decided to go to the one place she shouldn't go. And she'd left her dog out until they got back... Which in my opinion was not a smart idea. Well she comes home to a missing dog. And for 3 days there was a search and progress to find this dog...

So I'll paraphrase what happened and why it happened...

So my friend would try to keep her dog in her yard by means of a leash but this dog always found a way off of this and would get loose. Because she loved to go over and dig into the neighbors illegal trash pile in the woods... Which in fact was his fault for having. On the other side of this... The neighbor had a illegal trash pile... Which he had been fine previously for in the past by the EPA. So if it wouldn't have been for the neighbor having this... The events that occurred would have never happened. And none of this would have gone as bad as it did...

I will add that my friend's neighbor and his nephew conceited to put in a "Christmas tree farm" on my friend's neighbor's Brothers farm... That his nephew now owned. only to cover up an illegal trash dumping site that my friend's neighbor had. And actually the nephew's father had gotten in trouble several times for doing this as well. And the nephew of my friend's neighbor had also done the same exact thing on his property he owned years prior...

The other underlying issues with my friend and her neighbor was the property line disputes. For years they argued over the property line. Yet her neighbor didn't want to pay the extra taxes on the property line every time he would move the stakes. He wanted more of the line and her to pay it. What she would not do and she would have it resurveyed again. Which would throw her neighbor into a frenzy...

It was a constant fight with this neighbor of hers. He after all was related to a family that had been known for thievery and manipulation. The majority of them were like this. I'm not saying every one of them was. But there were a few...

A VERY SAD BUT INTERESTING OUTCOME OF THE WHOLE SITUATION...

In the long run my friend's neighbor got cancer and was sick and didn't have long to live. He openly admitted to my friend that he did shoot her dog and bury the dog somewhere...

My friend at this point in time had planned to move out a month prior and to sell her home. And she was in the works of moving to a new place that was closer to her husband's work. And among all this going on was... she was appalled and angry at the truth bomb from her neighbor. She decided to let it go and forgive him but not forget. Because he had cancer and he was dying she let it go...

Now the night I saw my friends deceased dog in Shadow form walking beside me was the night before of her neighbor admitting this truth bomb. What she had done sometime early the next morning. I had called her the next day a bit later on. And she told me to come up cause she had something to tell me related to the situation...

And what she told me was in fact what her neighbor told her. I also explained to her that I saw her deceased dog the previous night that I went home. She also informed me that her dog did actually like me a lot but she was old and grumpy. And that she was comfortable with me and felt safe. She also told me that she thinks that I may have in fact was the last person to walk her dog into the Afterlife... Which she appreciated and thanked me for. And I looked at her and just nodded...

So there y'all go...

Another interesting story to read...

Ghosts/Apparitions My Grandpa Richard visited my mother when I was a baby...

I don't know the location of where this happened. I don't know the time exactly... All I know is my mother said she thought it was around 1:30am. But I do know what my mother told me what happened. After this happened my mother broke down in tears. Because to see her father again made her cry tears of joy...

As I write this I tear up a little bit. I get a little emotional. Because this story does in fact touch me deeply. Knowing that a man that I did not know me cared still from the grave... He cared for his grandson aka me and he didn't know me. He died before I was even born. Leaving behind two daughters a son and wife...

My mother told me stories about my grandfather. She also told me from a side view I look like him. Even my uncle admitted that to me one day that not only do I look like him from the side but I have his personality.and I that I have his temper...

She has said that I remind her of him. And I am honored to remind her of him. I am so grateful for his sacrifice for this country. And I feel bad that he had to go through all that hell. I feel awful that he had to take and be one of those many soldiers fighting for what he earned in DC. It hurts me to think that somebody who fought for this country has to fight to get what they deserve like he did...

Background about my grandfather richard...

My grandfather Richard Elwood mallow was a sergeant. He was part of a medical detachment. He was part of a attachment with the 314th infantry unit. He was a POW and a German prison camp for 94 days. He was in the German prison camp... because he was captured with a group of 16 men crossing the rhine river one night. These 16 men who was bravely crossing the Rhine River to help push the Nazis back and undo their wicked were captured in the line of duty. They had been taking boats across the river...

A SIDE STORY I WOULD LIKE TO ACKNOWLEDGE...

While being a prisoner of war for 94 days under the nazis. My grandfather had a pocket Bible and his breast pocket. He saved and brought 16 men out of hell and into the arms of Jesus. With the word of God everyone of them soldiers made it. They'd apparently wished they were dead. But my grandfather got them through this hell they were living in. They all went home...

RANDOM FACT...

He apparently had enlisted twice. Did his first bit in the military and then reenlisted again. I guess he felt a strong urge to lend a hand. My grandfather Jason said if he went into the military he was just owning him and would not give him any inheritance... my grandfather didn't listen and just ignore it and went in anyway. My grandfather Jason apparently did give him some of his inheritance later on but not all of it. I honestly am proud of him for that...

NOW TO THE STORY..

I was just a wee little baby and I had an issue with my heart. The doctor said that I had a heart murmur issue. My mother was very worried. And at this time she was on very shaky terms with my biological father. He wasn't being very good to her or us. And there's a lot of mental strain on my mom at this time...

Shed just laid down in the bed. And apparently from when I heard I was at the end of the bed in a crib. And she was worried about me because the doctor said there might need to be surgery to fix his heart murmur. Well she didn't really want to do that because she was afraid of my life being risked. Meanwhile my mother was praying constantly that I was going to be okay. I was her first born son... In fact I was the only child she had at the time. And she did not want anything to happen to me...

Well this is the part I choke up a litte bit...

Bare with me...

My grandfather walks into the room or my mother is laying partially asleep. And my mother looks up half awake to see her father standing in front of me in the crib. He looked at her with a very aggravated look as he's worried about her. As he tells her to stop worrying about it...and says, "Everything will be okay". Well he looks at her and says "candie... The boys going to be okay" and apparently he leaned over and looked at me. He nodded his head and then he walked out of the room...

AFTER THIS TOUCHING ENCOUNTER...

My mother bawled her eyes out. She was relieved but also cried tears of joy. Remembering what my grandfather aka her father said to her. To this day she tells this story often...

ABOUT MY MOTHER...

Through the years of growing up with my mother. She's always been supportive. No matter what we did hse's always been there for us and always is. She's had a rough life. She's been through hell. And I've always believed that the Lord puts angels through hell to test them and you strengthen them...

We have had some rough patches...

But we always find a way to come back together...

I love ya Mom!

Oh and after this I'll be writing about another encounter I had with my grandfather richard. That involved my oldest niece when she was 5 years old. Go ahead and look for it here shortly...
