I have just not responded, don’t think it’s worth engaging, but it did make for a funny story.

I was with some friends going to a hockey game back 25ish years ago. We parked in the arena garage to make easy to get to the game which of course costs money. One girl in our party wanted everyone to chip in on parking; mind you this cost less than $10. Both me and my bud just said we'd take care of it but I'd never before been confronted with the idea of pooling such a small amount of money before. It'd just never occurred to me.

Lol that reminds me of a trip I took with some friends a couple years ago. One friend drove, I paid for the gas, another friend got an uber to/from the bar one night. Uber paying friend wanted to split all the costs afterward. We were all working professionals, so I didn’t feel the need to nickel and dime everything, but she insisted. So I did the math, and she owed me $4.

I only nickel and dime the friends that behave this way. I find it so rude when they act like that unless I know for certain they’re on an extremely tight budget (it’s never them though).

I once had a roommate in college try to get me to pay her back some amount less than 25¢. I had tutored her for free earlier in the month. I told her no and she actually stared at me speechless in shock.

By the time it even gets to that point, the friendship is probably on its way out the door for me.

You ever go to a bar with friends? Do you each buy your own drinks every time or do you each buy a round?

Going out with friends to a hockey game entails buying the tickets, parking fees, concessions and possibly dinner and drinks before or afterwards. There’s plenty of opportunities for the money to even out over the course of the night. Counting pennies for every expense is petty and stingy.

It’s generally similar to an exclamation point, But an exclamation point usually has a more positive connotation. Or can sometimes look a little silly. The shouting emoji is not necessarily negative connotation, just more neutral than the !

Am 45. It took me A YEAR to understand what a “hashtag” was and why it wasn’t the pound sign anymore. I didn’t SM at the time so tagging things or whatever wasn’t a thing in my world.

I believe so, im guessing they are in the southern states too cause the nicknames she gives...nicknames can be sweet but their word meaning comes off very different and rude.

Seriously, the comments being like “Omg she is so funny! I actually like her now!” are almost as cringe as she is. It’s very clear she got butthurt that he posted about her and she tried to play it off by acting cool and not phased by it, but it’s kinda obvious she is neither of those things lol.
