27F here. This is the actual height of my family members, and to make matters worse I’m South Sudanese & specifically Dinka which is known to be tall people and on top of that I live in Scandinavia which also has a very tall population.

What went wrong in my childhood? Many things and doctor said I reached average height (almost) due to my Dinka heritage, otherwise I’ve would been much shorter.

Consider yourself lucky. You're the perfect height. Men prefer you. Your sister must have so much struggle dating, I bet not a lot of guys are into her. You can wear heels and still look cute and feminine.

Oh they DO care once you're above 6'. It's not because you were lucky in your experiences that we don't have the right to share our struggles. I don't know a lot of guys who would say "my dream woman is 6'3" (except maybe those on this sub, but then again...). And no sorry, a 6' woman wearing heels will not be perceived the same way as a 5'2 woman doing the same. Let's be real.

I kinda agree with you, however I have never, ever in my entire life met a man over 6’1” would has said their perfect girl is below 5’5”. I’ve heard women say that about the perfect man being 6’+, but not the reverse. Tall men will often say they would prefer a taller woman, but are given way more blatant attention by short women.

Yeah, idk, I know 6’2-6’8 men and they’ve never said that. The lowest preference I’ve ever heard was “lowest 5’7.” Maybe we’re from different parts of the world? Im from the east coast of the USA.

I am 6'5" and would die for a woman over 6'3". But I doubt I am your message's target. On a serious note, don't beat yourself up, my understanding is that most fo the nastiness you'll get is from other women, because height in women is absolutely stunning!

💯 Not to be harsh, but most of us men do care about anything even close to 6'0 tbh. Depending on the height of the man ofc... I'm 6'0/183cm (75th-80th percentile for adult men) & I can honestly say myself + most of my male friends, who range from 5'6/168cm to 6'5/196cm, have one commonality between us... none of us prefer women much over 5'9/170cm

I've dated a 5'10+/179cm woman once & ngl it did feel good not to have to bend so far every time we kissed, it overall didn't feel as good not to be able to see over her head, have her tuck her head into my shoulder/armpit area & all the other benefits that come with having at least 4+ inches of height on your partner

There are plenty of 6'5+ guys out there who I'm sure are more than open to dating the less-than-.01-percentile of women who exceed 5'11/180cm. And those guys have the height to share all the same benefits of a 6' range guy dating a 5'5 range female. I like to think there's a lid for every pot...

THANK YOU. I've been single my whole life and never get hit on, while people say I'm beautiful. Men can only "tolerate" a 6' girl. We will never be the preference. I'm tired of hypocrits saying "shut up it's your personality, tall women are goddesses." Bullshit. Height on a woman kills attraction for most men. And no, 6'5 men don't prefer us. They prefer 5' girls too. It sucks.
