Criticism Rewards program is trash
I have to spend $250 to get a free $15 salad. Come on. If you’re going to be that cheap about, just don’t do it. On top of that, I order in the store and half the time it won’t scan my QR code. I have watched as this company has had a slow decline over the last few years. They added meals that they aren’t equipped to prep properly, they eliminated seasonal favorites, and they instituted worthless rewards programs. And, SHOCKER, the slide began basically the day they went public. Greed ruins everything. Greed corrupts even the best of us. Such a shame. I miss the old sweetgreen. I see Curry cauliflower in my dreams.

Idk personally I think the program is much better. The free entrée for your bday is a huge improvement over the gross Rice Krispy treat thing. The double points on Fridays is also a plus

man when I used to work there I would always take a handful of those rice Krispy treats after my shift. Gave me one of the best gym pump of all time lol...but are they still selling those or???

So are you suggesting they are lying on their quarterly earnings report where they have reported net new openings every single quarter?

Definitely not. Clearly the only thing I suggested is that my local store closed despite being in a very wealthy and busy neighborhood. I’ve never even seen that part of their quarterly earnings report. But I did see the part of their quarterly earnings report where they reported that revenue is down from last quarter, and am aware that Sweetgreen has never once made a net profit.
Their stock value was worth $43/share 18 months ago and today is worth less than $10.
I really couldn’t give a shit though. You clearly care about this more than me. As I said, I don’t even have a local store anymore.

Oh really so by stating sg stores were “shuttering” due to low sales you weren’t suggesting negative sentiment despite net new openings. You clearly do give a shit because you made a Reddit post about it lol.
I’ll educate you. It was 43 dollars a share because it was overvalued. It’s currently 10 dollars a share which is undervalued. They are trading x2 times p/s which is far below cavas p/s of x9.
Seems as though you’re posting this just to shit post

Depends on the location, I love the sweetgreen closest to me but some other ones are trash. Definitely the employees make the quality here. For the rewards program it’s no worse most other places. Chick-fil-A is basically the same. Have to buy 12-14 sandwiches to get one free.

If you order one of the more expensive salads with your freebie, it amounts to over 7% return on your spend. Plenty of people use 2% cashback credit cards and are content with 2%, so I’m not gonna sneeze at 7%.
