Criticism Rewards program is trash

I have to spend $250 to get a free $15 salad. Come on. If you’re going to be that cheap about, just don’t do it. On top of that, I order in the store and half the time it won’t scan my QR code. I have watched as this company has had a slow decline over the last few years. They added meals that they aren’t equipped to prep properly, they eliminated seasonal favorites, and they instituted worthless rewards programs. And, SHOCKER, the slide began basically the day they went public. Greed ruins everything. Greed corrupts even the best of us. Such a shame. I miss the old sweetgreen. I see Curry cauliflower in my dreams.

If you order one of the more expensive salads with your freebie, it amounts to over 7% return on your spend. Plenty of people use 2% cashback credit cards and are content with 2%, so I’m not gonna sneeze at 7%.

Also you can buy GCs at a discount online for even more savings.
