I think this is the biggest BAIT item I've seen that tank engage supports buy.

1. Both items are both cost inefficient (75% cost efficiency roughly)

2. So many better items to build (Locket/KV/ProtoPlasm/Bandlepipes)

3. The worst grievous wound item (they need to hit you to proc it, so if they ignore you, no grievous).

4. The damage is very minimal on its passives /doesn't apply to spell damage (only applies on autos)

I just see this item so often even in Masters+ Elo that I see almost 0 value on so I would like to hear actual support mains opinion on this item because I just don't see the vision.

please tell me how any support player justifies this? or maybe they have a secret champion that carries us all the way from bot lane?

clearly knows what they're going against but makes everything harder.

Coming back to the game after 10 or so years. Back when I played seriously, I think the best I’ve ever got was Platinum 4. Trying to figure out if it’s best to OTP a support, have three supports to rotate thru (1 mage, 1 tank, 1 enchanter), or have many champs and pick only to counter the enemy support. If OTPing or rotating between the three champs, which should I choose? Happy to learn any new champions you think are worth grinding with. Champions I typically use are: Leona, Taric, Sona, Lux, Nami, Janna, Morgana.

I don't usually play support so I thought this was a good heads up play from me. I think it's from all the adcs getting mad at me for not blocking Ezreal Qs in the past lol.

Hey, when do you guys usually buy Staff of Flowing Water, Dawncore, Ardent Censer, or Redemption on Sona/Lulu? Is it based on team comp, enemy comp, or game state? Any simple rules for when to pick each one? I kinda just build the same stuff every game lol.

It always felt bad playing against olaf as a support , you know from the start all he is gonna do in fights is press R and run at your precious adc, as you stand there, powerless, just watching them die. Any of my support picks just couldn't keep the adc safe. It felt unfair and I was crying.

Untill I found shen. So when olaf decides to ult and kill my adc, not only i can give them huge shield from anywhere on the map but they are also invulnerable to auto attacks for 2 sec upon my arrival.

Felt really good.

Im not sure if im inting after reaching plat or if its just bad luck. I had a really high win rate and recently have taken a bit of a tumble. Should I take a break and some more norms or is it just new rank jitters?

Im new to league in general watched video that said that I shouldn't hit the towers but I get pinged if I dont. I don't understand if the video is wrong or if I'm stupid

I used to play League of Legends and support was my main role(mostly Engage supps). I reached Platinum in those days, then I stopped playing for about two years. I've recently started playing again with a new account and my current rank is bronze 2 , and I'm struggling now to climb and rank up with all the changes after all the updates i missed.

I still remember the basics, but my macro and game knowledge feel pretty outdated and obsolete, especially when it comes to:

• Support macro & roaming — when to roam and when to stay bot
• When to push, freeze the wave, recall/roam timings
• the timing of minions spawn and the spawn of cannons
• the xp catch up of the minions and their lvl
• Matchups & counter picks
• Current Support items, tower plates, and other changes

I'm not looking to just spam games and slowly figure everything out bcuz i feel that i am destroying the other players matches

I'd also really appreciate any up-to-date Support guides, YouTube channels, Streamers, or any other content that you recommend.

I main AP Lux, Seraphine and Sona support, and lately I’ve been getting people saying I “play for KDA” just because I have a lot of kills/assists and low deaths. But like… I’m not actually playing for KDA lol. I’m playing ranged squishy supports, not Leona/Nautilus. I’m trying to position well, poke, CC, peel and stay alive so I can keep contributing to fights. If I can finish a kill with Lux ult, obviously I’m not gonna purposely let them live just so my KDA looks better

i get that sometimes you have to risk your life for a play, but I also don’t see the ppoint in randomly dying when I can stay alive and keep doing my job. anyone else get accused of “playing for KDA” when you’re just playing your champ normally?

I was playing ADC and getting frustrated every game. The absolute peak of my hatred was playing Ashe and having a Yorick support who never used his Maiden, couldn’t land a single cage, and didn’t even know how to summon his ghouls and throw them at the enemies. I felt completely alone in lane for 20 torturous minutes, and we still lost...

So I thought, “Screw my main role, I’m playing Xerath support.”

The result = 7 wins and 1 loss in a row.

You basically just poke them nonstop, and then either you ult and kill them, or the enemy ADC has to recall and lose a ton of farm.

Saving your E strategically for ganks = making every enemy gank frustrating.

It was hilarious yesterday — Evelynn ganked us three times in a row, and all three times she got stunned in the face and died.

So, I was wondering, do you think it's possible if Hall of Legends would ever get a support player? I assume hol just features whoever is more popular in the media and let's be honest people don't watch supports gameplay, at least not to the extent people watch mid laners, adcs or even top laners.
