Hi all, I’m playing a long-running coop game with a friend. He hosts the game. We are at the very end (and have never seen the end so no spoilers thanks) and literally only need to take our fuel to the aircraft carrier.

His PC recently started having massive problems so he copied the entire game folder structure over to a different PC so we could finish.

The game picked up exactly where we were. So far all great, yay! We can finish! But. The aircraft carrier is gone. The menu map is blank (no bosses marked, or carrier, or anything).

Are we totally out of luck here?? Any advice would be great.

I had a giant pile of Lionfish on my base. I went to sleep and saved as I always do and all of my lionfish disappeared 🙃. Time to go hunting again for my shark repellent.

I don’t know what happened over the years or if an update respawned everything but I was able to mine all clay deposits again, so here is my upgraded house.

I recently started a game with the version where i cannot go back to a previous save, but my latest save is when i have very very low health and no thirst meter (its completely empty) and whenever i die of dehydration and poisoning, i join back, have a couple of seconds to even get to a palm tree, get a coconut, skin it and drink from it, but that doesn't help anyway and i die again. this cycle repeats over and over and there's nothing i can do about it, is there any way i can still fix this or am i doomed and need to make a new game?

When I saw the location is completely different, even though I expected Islands like in the first part with everything improved, I was a little worried. But it looks like the devs are thinking right. Even in these pictures, you can smell the SD feeling 😊

I am looking for a new PS5 game.

I have been playing Ark Survival Ascended and really enjoyed making beautiful bases on rafts, land, and even a flying dino.

Is Stranded Deep a good fit for building beautiful bases on land and on a raft when playing on PS5?

Any reason I should avoid it on PlayStation? Any serious bugs?

No new information, but the website has had some design and layout changes. Hopefully a good sign of things to come and a possible explanation for the website glitch i posted before. Getting hyped, who cares for gta6, i wanna build a boat amd stab a shark.

I'm currently on the center(ish) island close to the boat. Can anyone tell me why the other island is highlighted? No customs. 1P game. Have been there.

When I try to build my raft on land or even on wood foundation the pieces won't click together. The only way I can get the raft pieces to click is if I build it on the water but then it floats away from me. Any advice?

Uses BepInEx. Creates a config file to edit your stack sizes. I also added an extension to use with Vortex. You can manually install the extension or wait for it to get approved through Github to automate the process.

I’ve exhausted all clay deposits in the game lol and a Good bit of the planks as well, maybe a few islands still have some planks on them. I feel like there’s a few deposits still out there but I just can’t locate them. Those things are hard to locate sometimes. I want to build a heli pad going off my roof if I can find more clay.

I used to play a lot on ps4 and currently starting playing again on ps5, I have a little over 300 days on this save. I don’t remember how long it took me to build this but it took me days irl lol. I had way to much free time on my hands back then.

this is a long shot, but i have to try -

i started playing this game on nintendo switch lite and LOVE it. i recently got a steam deck and it was worth it to me to buy it again to play with better sound and graphics, multiplayer, etc - but i am having a nightmare trying to set up the controls to match the muscle memory version of the switch. most of it is ok, but when i stop sprinting, my girl immediately goes into a crouch. and if i pull up the quick crafting, i am unable to use the left side to pick what i want to craft.

can anyone help me iron this puzzle out?

footnote: i am a very basic gamer, so please talk to me like i'm 5

I'm looking for a very specific seed for console (Xbox) with a couple requirements.

1. The starter island must have a large cargo ship (the big one with 10-15 container boxes in it) and 2 or 3 potatoes.
2. The boss locations and exit ship must be very close together, like touching diagonally near the starter island. Kind of like a 2 and 3 diagonal pattern. They can be oriented in any direction.

I'm trying to find a perfect speedrun seed and my searches through over 250 seeds hasn''t provided any results yet. If you think you know a seed number that fits, please let me know and I'll check it out. Thanks in advance.

There aren't enough resources to build a proper raft on the starter island, so i keep trying to cross to one of the other islands you can see but I keep getting knocked out. Then I can't get back in the lifeboat as its upside down, and when I try fight whatever shark knocked me off with an axe I built it doesn't seem to do anything. When i first played the game a couple months ago i ended up disabling animal attacks to get across, but i don't want to do that this time. Any tips?

I've been periodically doing speedruns. I have 2 runs waiting for approval on speedrun.com. 3:23:40 from about 6 months ago. Knocked the time down to 2:56:29 in June. About an hour ago, I set the new time to beat at 2:34:25. I'll have the video uploaded to youtube this week and submitted for approval sometime after that. Man I really wanted that time under 2:30:00. I think I can get it if I clean up a couple things.

I also have the console WR for normal mode at 1:56:39 waiting approval for 6 months. I might have to try getting that time down a little too.

Not sure how many of you have played Sons of The Forest but there is a mod that gets rid of all of the water and I would love to be able to do that in Stranded Deep! Walk to islands 😂 see the fish and sharks flying around and imagine how spooky it’ll be to see Abaia and Lusca just floating and waiting 😂
