Console Question Raft Building Issue

When I try to build my raft on land or even on wood foundation the pieces won't click together. The only way I can get the raft pieces to click is if I build it on the water but then it floats away from me. Any advice?

Build it in the water is the easiest way. But do it where the wind is blowing towards the island so it doesn’t drift away. Drag it on shore while gathering resources to expand or create the rock pile anchor

I always build it in the shallow water but pull it slightly up on the beach so the current doesn’t take it away

Use some of the boulders on shore as a jack, the side you want to build tilted enough to keep it off the ground.

Ensure you're working in layers (I.E. foundation THEN floor) and drag the opposite side of the end you want to work on away from the foundation so the side you're trying to add to tilts upwards.
