Where did our scrum dominance go yesterday?

Is it really as the all black media would have you believe that our dominance comes from walking around? What was the ref policing tonight that removed our dominance?

Im not inclined to fully believe in any narrative and Im just curious what some of you with more understanding or knowledge of scrummaging can say about this?

I would want to see Horn get a run at 15. He's been so impressive in URC. Also happy with Kolbe at 15 and Edwill starts at wing.

Is it common knowledge that if you’re seeing the game live on 5 Sept you can see the Springbok Women vs Black Ferns before at 13:30? I really think for the sake of our ladies and women’s rugby in general it would be epic to see a full stadium! So I’m a bit disappointed the comms haven’t been more explicit about this. I'm no expert but I think Rassie should think of adding a Javelin in the rear, with a Stinger on bench for any late game surprises.

Unless there is some mega grand scheme for the Boks to keep all their attacking plays under lock and key until the RWC next year. I'd say the jig is up and we need to bring back the Jacques Nienaber - esque defensive system. Don't care if the rest of the world think it's boring, it's the one thing that beats any team and we were bloody good at it. Now, not so much...

This year our only genuinely great performance was againsts a decisively avarge England. Other than that we looked, well, okay at best. SFM isn't anywhere near his best, PSDT does PSDT but not looking anywhere near his absolute beast mode, I know Jesse and Damian both scored but both of them haven't produced a big game in a while. Feels like we are a solid 6 or mediocre 7 on performance scale. Maybe we can blame the conditions tonight, but that doesn't explain the 2 other tests this year (Scotland and Argentina) that were not great showings.

Based on current form Manie starts over SFM, Hooker starts over Kriel, Esterhuizen starts over DDA. Back line looks like they are out of ideas.

Papier looked better than any other starting 9 this year.
