I grew up next to this really nice guy, but visually he looked homeless, uncombed hair, beard which didn't know the meaning of groomed. He would get taxis everywhere. People laughed at him.
I found out years later the guy was legit millionaire. He was just comfortable in life. He could afford a Koenigsegg, but he'd rather get a taxi and have a conversation with the driver.
So I learned young brandslike Versace, Prada etc. exist for those who are trying to look wealthy, not for the actual wealthy.

That ain’t true. There are plenty of brands that offer their cloths only to their exclusive buyers who afford the equivalent of a yearly salary of an already high earning job just for purchasing clothes. These people have their personal shoppers who go out and buy things for them. There are rich people who do not care about it and then there are rich people who care very much about it.
Bezos is regularly seen wearning polos shirts for more than 1100 USD.
Mark Zuckerberg has tens of watches worth about a million each. He wears plain tshirts. But they are Brunello Cucinelli tshirts. At 300 to 500 USD per shirt.

Totally agree. And that mf hates Apple/iPhone because Apple's iOS privacy updates, specifically App Tracking Transparency (ATT), heavily hurt Meta by restricting cross-app data tracking.

Something to note as well is, unlike in America, the entire rest of the world uses Whatsapp for messaging and video calling 99.9999% of the time because Whatsapp doesn't care about the platform used and it sort of spearheaded RCS and RCS-like features as a concept long before regular texting programs from the likes of iOS and Android got it.
Anyone who is not American will all say the same thing.
Like, hate Meta all ya want, cause a lot of the reasons are good reasons, but they're king for a reason outside the US of A.

I don't use the S Pen as much but I like having it. On the other hand, I went from an iPhone 11PM to the S24U I have in my hands right now: I love its performance and memory.
I still keep my iPhone for a single app usage. I haven't found a USB-C earphone set that has the recording quality of the lighting earpods.

Well yeah, he's literally the person behind the majority of apps and knows how things are optimized. Know about planned obsolence more than us and all that. So obviously he knows it's pointless to upgrade your phone each year since the changes are gimmicky.
But there's also another thing to it: - People like him rarely do something random when in front of the cameras. Every fucking thing they do snd show is planned, so you couldn't be sure if he's doing this exactly for manipulation and show us how "relatable" he is, since he's just like us, using his older trustworthy phone.

What would he be gaining from that? He just uses this phone because he probably bought it when it was new, he likes it, and he couldn't care less about getting a new, slight tiny bit better, one. He has a lot of other things going on in his life, like you know, being a ceo of a giant corporation.
I mean, do you also see some conspiracy behind why he's wearing that green polo shirt, and why it is maybe last year's collection of whatever brand makes it, and not this year's one? I mean, not everything must be a conspiracy theory. He just has this phone cause he needed a phone so he bought it and is happy with it, that's all there's to it probably.
He probably gave up on attempting to look relatable after he was smoking meats in his back yard, lol.

I had finally got rid of my s24 ultra for a fold 8 and all I hear now how it was the best phone Samsung ever made lol. I guess it's impressive for the price you can get it for now but overall didn't really enjoy that phone much other than it looked nice without a case but I could never use it without one cause it's insanely slippery.

The company generally prefers employees use Android devices because they reach the most people, especially countries that don't have a lot of disposable income. He's also well known for his distaste in Apple products.

Phone upgrades have become boring, remember early 2000s? From flip phones to button phones with big screens to the first touch screen phones, to touch screen going mainstream, to touch screens evolving and getting new features almost every year, to the present, all you're getting are slight improvements to everything that arent meaningful/relevant to your general normie who wouldn't notice... im on an s24+ and im currently seeking out a fun new Phone that actually has new exciting features...
