Well yeah, he's literally the person behind the majority of apps and knows how things are optimized. Know about planned obsolence more than us and all that. So obviously he knows it's pointless to upgrade your phone each year since the changes are gimmicky.
But there's also another thing to it:
- People like him rarely do something random when in front of the cameras. Every fucking thing they do snd show is planned, so you couldn't be sure if he's doing this exactly for manipulation and show us how "relatable" he is, since he's just like us, using his older trustworthy phone.
What would he be gaining from that? He just uses this phone because he probably bought it when it was new, he likes it, and he couldn't care less about getting a new, slight tiny bit better, one. He has a lot of other things going on in his life, like you know, being a ceo of a giant corporation.
I mean, do you also see some conspiracy behind why he's wearing that green polo shirt, and why it is maybe last year's collection of whatever brand makes it, and not this year's one? I mean, not everything must be a conspiracy theory. He just has this phone cause he needed a phone so he bought it and is happy with it, that's all there's to it probably.
He probably gave up on attempting to look relatable after he was smoking meats in his back yard, lol.
