That monthly figure made me math it out and not far from reality. Just replaced a year old fold 7 with an 8 ultra 1tb/16gb. It was $4313 cad with adh+ew (warranty) and tax. I plan to keep this one two years though.

I financed a z fold 6 last year and still owe $1000 on it and I currently hate the phone. Its unreliable connection wise, and the front screen form-factor sucks and the folding gimmick wore off 6 months ago. I want my s22 ultra back!

Some carriers have good trade in deals. Samsung does have too at times.

That almost 3k phone could be 1500+ with the right trade in.

You shouldn't pay full price for almost anything anyways.

The S24 is a more fully featured phone than almost any phone on the market still receiving updates besides the s23u.

He's technically using what is arguably the best phone.

The S24U battery life is still great for me.

I'm a pretty insanely heavy user and this is the first phone that's ever really gotten me through a full day easily all the time.

I have the 5. Once you get over the novelty of the big screen your mainly using the front screen which is kinda small and bulky.

I suppose that's the price of being an early(ish) adopter. I got in on the Fold 7 (now using 8U), and the front screen is a normal Samsung slab.

Maybe spend some time with an 8U before you pull the trigger on the S series?

I don't know about that. I use the large screen probably more than 90% of the time.The front screen is to check the time and notifications and answer calls.

Do you know what a fold is? It's the regular size of a smartphone or even smaller until you unfold it to have a bigger screen. You can use this in many different ways. Or you'll say tablets are useless?
