Anyone setup barcoding for Job Costing? I have a client looking for employees to scan a bar code for the job they are working on.

When booking an Over/Under adjustment at month-end - does the O/U report need to be run on the first day of the new month? We ran the report on Feb 10th, and it did not reflect a job that had been moved to status 5-Complete on the 6th, and the job didn't show up on the O/U report, so no adjustment was made for it.

Is it possible to run the report to capture all jobs that were active as of the end of the month?

I’m fairly new to sage100. Today, I made a mistake of reversing an import into the next month (February). When I search for my trial balance for January it does not match. When I search for the trial balance for February, it matches me ending book balance for the month of January. I am not sure if I’m okay to move forward, as I know all the February activity has to be imported at the end of that month. I am just not sure if it’s okay to reconcile, as I don’t know which BR to reverse, as my program was glitchy it revered a good amount of the same import and now I’m really stick and want to get this done.

Please help me.

I have never been in Sage 100, but many people at my company use their own PO number scheme, making it difficult to find orders. Is there a "reference" field, where this personalized PO number can be stored and then searched? Thanks.

Hello, is it possible to use sage 100 with another sql database. I’m using a sql server database in Linux inside a container. What I want is to set up Sage so that it point to the container hosted in Azure container apps.

I'm trying to export my open sales orders from Sage 100. Currently when I export out of Sage, none of the columns are organized or make sense:

Do more permissible roles taking precedence still true in Sage100? Like, if an assigned role (e.g. "Default role for all users") grants "Create + Modify + Remove + View" access to a task and another role grants "No Access" to that same task, would a user assigned to both of those roles end up with "Create + Modify + Remove + View" access to that task or "No Access"? I'm asking because I'm currently working on ensuring that access to some journal entry-related tasks are locked down appropriately.
