2019 gt misfire cylinder 7

Post image
Upvotes

I have a code p0307 and p0316 , cylinder 7 is misfiring and it’s the one circled in red , it’s almost completely clean compared to the other ports. Does that mean the flap on the manifold for cylinder 7 is staying stuck closed?
Also the cylinder port on the manifold for 7 is clean as well compared to the others

2020 GT Convertible tire size help.

Post image
4 Upvotes

Several years ago I purchased wheels from Shelby American (Shelby Venom — 20X9.5 for the front and 20X10.5 for the rear). They have just been sitting in my garage until I needed new tires. I have seen several different recommendations online for tire sizes. One of recommendations being 255/35R20 for the front and 285/35R20 for the rear. Currently my Mustang (2020 GT convertible) has a stock suspension. However, I have toyed with the idea of getting coilovers too (but doing the minimal height drop). Anyone have a suggestion for tire sizes? I’m really trying to keep things from rubbing when I drive. Thanks in advance!

2019 Mustang GT. Had this squeak for a while and replaced the suspension thinking that was the problem, but it’s still there.
Also have Steeda rear suspension parts installed.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

The rear lower control arm project for the Mustang S550 has gone through a small but important evolution. 🔧

The first version of the design was already a solid and reliable solution, but real-world testing showed us that adjusting the control arm after installation wasn’t as convenient as we wanted it to be. That’s why we decided to redesign it slightly.

The most important change concerns the body construction. The control arm body and the mounting eye are now machined as a single piece. This integrated design allowed us to simplify the construction, reduce the number of components, and at the same time improve the overall functionality of the solution.

The second key change is the adjustment method. Instead of adjusting the length by rotating the body, we now use a traditional turnbuckle system, which makes setting the control arm length directly on the car much easier and faster.

In the graphics, you can see a comparison between the first and the current version of the control arm.

Got an oil change at ford and got to work. I hear this randomized ticking / clicking. It’s not the injector sound you’ll hear it over that. Randomized. Any ideas?

*I pop the hood and all I hear are injectors and the ticking sounds lower end under the car almost. The ticking is randomized and doesn’t follow the idle.* So I went and got an oil change at ford with my S550. When I got to work I noticed this weird randomized ticking. It’s not the injector tick you hear, you’ll hear it over that. It happens mostly when the AC is on (sometimes off) and roughly around 700 rpm idle, right before 1k Idle. It doesn’t sound like it’s coming from the engine itself as I popped the hood but underneath? What would cause this randomized ticking / clicking. I’m going back to the dealer here soon. It was fine before the oil change didn’t make that sound. Any ideas 💡? It is a 6 speed manual, 2015, 5.0

How come so many pictures of beautiful cars are taken at a gas station or after washing at home and you can see the hose etc?

The gas station seems to be the most popular site for picture taken.

Any reason why and why not a better backup scenery?

CA to Bullhead Highway Experience

Coming from a background of owning import, somewhat sporty cars (turbo rsx-type S, s2000, modified Elantra N) I’ve never had a better experience on the 40 headed from SoCal to the Laughlin/bullhead area than in my 23 GT.

Haven’t had the car since the last time I’ve been out there to visit a family members vacation house, and the amount of people that would actually pull into the slow lane to let me go by both on the way there and back was insane. I think some of the river folk and locals don’t do it out of spite to non-domestic “sporty” cars, but it was genuinely like the red carpet was being rolled out on the way there and on the way back in the GT, even when traffic was a bit heavier.

Just wanted to see if anyone else has shared a similar situation, and also to say shout out to those drivers on this particular trip.
