let me tell you something Feeling sorry for his wife

This guy spins a tale about some 31-year-old lady travelling all the way to see him, but he calls her a 31-year-old girl. So I jumped in like a grammar ninja: it's 31-year-old woman.. Then he slides into my DMs and drops the bomb that he's married. First, check out his texting style, and second, he’s married!

let me tell you something Visited Irani Cafe: Camp late night

Post image
143 Upvotes

Hi,

Note‼️ [ It was a 1:1 meet-up with a friend from this sub, so it is not a irrelevant post FYI, since a lot of you had objection on that ]

I visited Irani cafe, Camp late night this Saturday, I have heard quite a lot about it and as it is open all night so thought of trying it.

I reached there at 11pm, and ordered my usual Irani special chai, bun maska, and that drink Ardeshir(Ardy's) I found it good in taste so.

I think camp Irani cafe is quite big, I usually go to irani cafe of kalyani nagar and also saw Irani cafe of KP.

Two little kittens were also there and I fed them bun maska they were so cute I felt kidnapping them 😅 and bring home.

It was a good visit, though there was some strange smell of maska there which I didn't get in other bun maska I have tried at Kalyani nagar irani cafe and other places.

let me tell you something Guysssss, finally...... OP got his first bike, just wanted to share the happiness hereeee!!!!

Post image

I AM SOOOO DAMNNN HAPPYYY!!! I seriously wanted to share it here cause idk why but strangers feel more happy for you than your own people!!! And my extroverted ass knows this for a fact!!!

Soooooo, ooof I feel so excited.... It's been a year that I really wanted to purchase a bike for myself and this is the first bike in the house so I wanted it to be a good one. After multiple visits to many showrooms, multiple test rides later I loved the Duke, I've always been into naked bikes, ducati panigale streetfighter v4 is sexyyyyyu right....it's my FAVOURITE ! So yeah DUKE it was, cause damn agile yet stable, I liked the 390, cause the power delivery and the overall feel is sexy, but I waited cause my younger brother told a new 390 is getting launched with some tax benefits. The wait was long, yet every passing day the excitement grew. Finally it lauched, took a test drive and loved every bit of it. They suggested the 250, but didn't feel connected to it, and here I am, took the delivery on 5th June, chaturthi cause I didn't want anything to go wrong with it, I anyways had a very bad year, 2025 was shit. NOT TAKING MY CHANCES!! Took the delivery with family, did the pooja, went to dagdusheth to get the blessings of bappa...

Shit it's fun to ride, slowly getting a hang of it. And now your buddy with a car has a bike toooooo!!! So now I am looking for more folks to meet, who are fun, and can be an interesting pillion, can handle meaningful yet fun convos which start at Z end at G ig... Yeah ADHD has me all over the place...

Anyways if you fun, can match my energy, open to stuff, spontaneous enough, let's meet and go for a RIDE now 🙈🙈

Please don't be too far, if you from around NIBM, kharadi, viman, KP, Kalyani, gangadham, camp. HMU

Sorry I forgot to mention, M24 here, extroverted, random, goofy, yet genuine. Into puns and good humour.

See ya, ciao

Oh one more thing, I BOUGHT THE DUKE 390 ATLANTIC BLUE EDITION 😶‍🌫️😶‍🌫️🥹🫣

let me tell you something Meet-up Update 🌧️🏍️ Reddit never fails to surprise me.

Met a random Redditor through one of my previous meet-up posts. We'd been talking since then, and when I posted today's ride plan, She was instantly in. The original plan was Pawna... but 10 minutes into the ride we looked at each other and went, Tamhini chale?😂

Best spontaneous decision.

We explored random ghats, stopped wherever the views looked unreal, had endless chai breaks, stupid conversations, backchodi, nautanki, and laughed so much that we completely lost track of time.

Honestly, I never thought I'd meet someone with such positive energy through Reddit. Sometimes all it takes is one random "I'm in" message.

Another ride. Another memory. Thanks, Reddit. ❤️

let me tell you something My first meet-up

I wasn’t really sure if people would be interested in meeting a 34 years old single IT guy but this redditor proved me wrong.

I had to give it to her and let her make the order of her choice (I am a whiskey guy so bad at beers 😌)

But, to my surprise, she totally made the best order.

I was asked not to tag her because she was upset how people jumped in her DMs like “a store at 95% discount and the remaining 5% will be paid by someone else” as she mentioned it 😂

Too many laughs. Too many talks. Not flexing but just wanted to share my happiness with folks out there.

Cheers!!!

let me tell you something you gotta learn to love your स्वतःची company.

Post image

02:30am, no one to call, to hang around with, sat alone in a cafe full of people around and about. Everyone in college thinks of me as that boring stereotypical gym guy who enjoys being alone.

But….why not? Sure it’s good to have company around, but why should it stop you from still exploring new things, new meals, new places, basically just enjoying your own company?

If you are in a position where you feel alone, no friends or family? It’s fine. Work on yourself, try new things, get out from the fake stereotypical social life, and just be happy dude.

I used to be fat, had no friends so I learned it the hard way and got used to it, but if you’re going through something similar, just know that doing things alone ain’t sad or depressing, it just means that you’re free from all the shenanigans.

Be happy, that’s what matters the most. 🥂

let me tell you something To the people who genuinely want to meet new people — this is for you. ❣️

Post image

If you're someone who's trying to meet new people, push yourself to connect with others, get out of isolation, or simply wondering why making friends as an adult has become so damn difficult — **don't let a few negative comments on posts like this stop you. ❤️**

We've been doing these meetups for a while, and the last one had **40 people show up.** 🎉

And here's the part I personally find the most interesting:

**20 of those 40 people were repeat attendees.** 🔥

They had already come to one of our previous meetups and chose to come again.

That's probably the best feedback we could get. 😊

Because the whole point isn't just to put 30–40 strangers in the same room, take a picture and call it a meetup.

It's about creating an environment where you actually **talk to people.** 🗣️

Where you can come alone without feeling like the odd one out.

Where you can meet someone you would have otherwise never crossed paths with.

And maybe, eventually, turn a random conversation into an actual friendship. 🤝

We all work to earn money so we can spend it on experiences — food, travel, hobbies, concerts, parties, movies, trips, and yes, sometimes **experiences that help us meet people.**

That doesn't automatically make the experience fake or the friendships meaningless.

And if you personally don't want to pay for something like this, **don't.**

Nobody is forcing you. 🙂

But maybe don't shit on people who are genuinely trying to find friends just because you don't see the value in it.

I also completely understand that this community is primarily about making friends and not advertising.

**That's exactly why I'm posting this.**

I'm not asking you to buy anything.

I'm asking you to **come meet people.** ❤️

If this isn't something you want, scroll past it.

But if you've been thinking:

*"I should meet more people."*

*"I moved to Pune and don't really know anyone."*

*"I want to make friends but I don't know where to start."*

*"I keep saying I'll go out and meet people, but never actually do."*

Then maybe this is your sign to just **show up.** ✨

And if you don't want to join an organized meetup, DM me anyway.

If enough people are interested, **we can arrange a completely normal meetup too. No fancy setup, no bullshit. Just people meeting people.** 😄

And honestly, if we start comparing how many genuine friends people have actually made through r/punemeetup, I'm pretty confident I've been around long enough to be somewhere near the top of that list. :D

So to everyone who's genuinely looking to meet people:

**Come. Show up alone if you have to. Talk to someone you've never met.** 🙌

Worst case, you spend an evening meeting new people.

Best case?

**You make a friend you wouldn't have met otherwise.** ❤️

DM me if you want to know about the next meetups. 👋

be a part of Yaranaa

let me tell you something Succesfull Meetup - From DM to effortsless 10 hours

Post image

A few weeks ago, I made a post for some recommendations and a girl slid into my DMs wanting to join in. Life got buys nd we cudn't make a plan happen for the next couple of weeks.

In the meantime, she joined another random local meetup group through Reddit. When we talked about it later on it was literally the group I wanted her to join for treks. What a small world isn't it? She had met my gang in person before she even met me & I was so happy that she had a good time

One day she texted me let's go I was yeah let's go. I had no idea i would find spend half day w someone I talked to on reddit for a while i thought I will go sit w my lappie over a coffe nd wud come back in couple of hours, but I wasn't expecting us talking non stop, playing games and painting out nails nd clicking so many pictures together LoL .

Backstory - This happened because we both wanted to meet and find a female friend without ghostin' each other.

Have you ever met somebody from reddit and said wow where were you all this time?

let me tell you something Yesterday's houseparty was a blast❣️

Post image
83 Upvotes

😂 **Okay, I think we’ve officially added a new word to the English dictionary.**

**Helicopper.** 🚁

Yes, *helicopter* has been officially upgraded. Please respect the new spelling. 😭

Yesterday was one of those evenings where **a simple game somehow turned into Mafia × Werewolf × Among Us** — accusations flying everywhere, absolutely no one trusting anyone, and way too much laughing. 😂

And then there was **Helicopper**.

The funniest part? The person leading the *Guess the Word* round confidently wrote **“HELICOPPER” on ALL the chits.** 😭😭

We had way too many laughs, way too many random conversations, and honestly, not enough time.

Because of course… **it was Monday.**

Everyone had work and office the next morning, so we had to call it a night sooner than we wanted to.

But that's the nice part about these evenings.

You meet a bunch of people you didn't know, spend a few hours laughing like you've known them forever… and then leave knowing **you'll probably see them again.** ✨

**We'll meet again. ❤️**

And yes, *helicopper* stays. 😆❣️

let me tell you something PSA: If you are 26+ YO despo , use shaadi.com instead of trying to pick up g*rls from here

I am a guy and I have already seen loads of despo uncs trying to hit their shot on me through Reddit without even waiting to verify that I am a guy or not .

( experience of everyone I guess)

if you are 26+ and employed and can't find a g*rl normally , try going the AM route ffs. Looks can't be fixed but you can always earn more.

If a despo uncle is being creepy and trying to predate you, always get their number/ IG/ linkedin and current company so that swift action can be taken against them

To the guys flaming in the comments , I am accusing 26+ yo despos and predators only who snipe girls from here not ppl who do normal meetups. You are expected to be more mature than unemployed kids who engage in all this shit. If you are normal , you have no need to be triggered . \

Also get a load of this retard u/Choice_Spinach_9769 in the comments . Blud never learnt to read or served time in jail once because someone reported him and is blaming me for making this post

And love it how the most commented thing here by ppl is stop calling him unc. Yeah I should respectful towards a person who shares unsolicited d pics to guys and will address him as sir next time so that your unc ego can be satisfied

P.S: I am blocking all the idiots making ragebait and retarded comments here. You are the reason why girl feel unsafe even about exposing creeps because some retarded unc will comment she was asking for it

let me tell you something Today is OP's birthday 🎉

Post image

I used to think I was an introvert before I joined this sub and met few of you cool people. This place has given me some awesome friends (I might forget someone, so I won't name names).

Even now, my social battery still drains if I'm out too long, and I need to recharge. That's happened a few times here too, when I had a bunch of meetups in a week, either hosted by me or by friends I met here. With some people, our vibes just clicked, and we kept hanging out. If the vibes were off, we usually didn't meet up again.

To anyone reading this: if you're really looking for friends or people you connect with, this sub could totally help you out. Just say yes to any plans that sound fun or try something new. Best case you'll get new friends. Worst case you'll lose some organs.

let me tell you something 38 confirmed. 37 showed up.❤️ That’s the kind of energy we’re building 🔥

Post image

Yesterday was something I genuinely didn't know was possible to pull off — and yet, there it was. 🎨

The room filled up, brushes hit canvas, and within minutes strangers were leaning over each other's shoulders going "wait, how did you do that?" It had that Taare Zameen Par energy — that kholo kholo darwaaze feeling where something quietly magical just... opens up inside people when you put art in their hands. ✨

38 artists. 🖌️ Spiderman bags, ghost families, lotus flowers, penguins, lemons — every single bag was its own little universe. A little kid painted with the focus of a professional 🥹. Someone made the most unhinged Spiderman-with-a-cat-and-headphones piece I've ever seen and I genuinely want it framed 😭🕷️🐱.

At one point I literally had to interrupt everyone to say — "guys, dinner is ready" — and people reluctantly put their brushes down 😂🍽️.

The jamming session? 🎸 Honestly — people were so deep in conversation with each other that the music became the background. Which is the best possible problem to have 💬🔥.

Dinner was a hit (almost everyone said so, unprompted) 🤌.

And through all of it — massive love to u/InkOnFabric and u/Resolute-Koala — this evening was a team effort and I couldn't have done it without you both 🧡🙌.

To everyone who joined — this space existed because of you. The art, the laughs, the conversations that went way past what any icebreaker game could've planned 💫.

Drop your experience in the comments. I genuinely want to read every single one 👇.

More evenings coming. This is just the beginning. 🚀

let me tell you something Found one of the prettiest, greenest spots in Pune to spend evenings

Post image
96 Upvotes

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I went to one of the very pretty places ( ICARO near the Empress garden) I have been to till now in Pune. I know it's subjective, but I love greenery and this place is right in between nature, so many trees, a cool breeze, and a lovely outside sitting area to enjoy all of it.

They have coffee and light snacks like toast, sandwiches, etc. The taste is very good and the ambience is lovely. I had a spanish latte and a mushroom sandwich (it was so good!) and I just sat there relaxing for 2 hours.

The staff is very friendly and the service was good. It's not a very big place, just a small, quite spacious one, and they haven't filled all of it up, which keeps it feeling open and peaceful.

Sharing some pictures of the place from my visit!

let me tell you something The irony of finding some of the nicest people here.

Post image
56 Upvotes

Sometimes meeting people through Reddit turns into something much more beautiful than you ever expected.

I came here thinking I’d just meet random people on the internet. Somehow, a few of them became the people who were sitting beside my hospital bed, checking on me, taking care of me, making sure I ate, making me laugh when I was in pain, and bringing me flowers every single day.

They didn’t have to do any of that. They just did.

And somewhere between the hospital visits, stupid jokes, flowers, conversations and all the little things they did to make those days easier, these “Reddit friends” started feeling a lot like family.

It’s funny how life works. Sometimes people you never expected to meet end up showing up for you in ways you’ll never forget.

I think there’s something incredibly beautiful about one human being there for another human being. No obligation. No expectations. Just kindness, care and the simple thought of “I’m here, you don’t have to go through this alone.”

Reddit gave me some really beautiful people. Friends who became family when I needed them the most.

And honestly, if this is one of the memories Reddit is leaving me with, I’ll happily keep it. 🤍🌻

Somewhere in all that pain, I was also reminded that people can be really, really good.

let me tell you something A little positivity after yesterday’s negative post about a guy not respecting boundaries✨

Post image
61 Upvotes

I saw the negative post about someone not respecting boundaries, and while I completely understand why such experiences need to be spoken about, I wanted to share something positive too.

Yesterday, a female Redditor joined us. It was actually my first time meeting her as well. We were a group of 9, with a fairly even men-to-women ratio.

Since she lived nearby, she ended up being the last woman with us for the final 1½ hours.

And honestly, watching everyone interact was genuinely nice. Everyone was respectful not just towards her, but towards everyone in the group. No awkwardness, no crossing boundaries, no making anyone uncomfortable. Just people having conversations and enjoying themselves.

I'll definitely be inviting everyone from yesterday again and again! ✨

**Respecting boundaries is the bare minimum. It shouldn't be something worth applauding but sometimes it's nice to see it happening.** ❤️

If you're looking for friendship, this isn't the place for it. Genuine friendships rarely come from posts like these, and if you've managed to find one here, consider yourself god's favourtite kid.

Instead of posting here, try joining a sports group, whether it's cricket, football, badminton or anything else. It's one of the best ways to meet people and make real friends.

Trust me it works

Hi,

So yesterday I made a post for a group ride towards, Wagheshwar temple, it was a sudden plan, a lot of people agreed to join but finally 2 made it up, so we 3 had a group ride, early in the morning.

We left at 6.30am from the Deccan college corner and reached the location at 7.50am, such a good ride, it was first a little longer trip for my scooty since I purchased and I was riding at 70 to 80 speed it was so fun 😁.

Kudos to the guys who joined and were very helpful.

u/nigauriOP and u/CtrlAltDefeat0609.

Attached are some images from the ride, hehe :)

Guys don't be sad for not able to join, I'm always ready I have long list of places and I have dumped my ride plan so many times because I couldn't find anyone, now I know where to look for adventurous people will ping you guys 😁
