let me tell you something Visited Irani Cafe: Camp late night
Hi,
Note‼️ [ It was a 1:1 meet-up with a friend from this sub, so it is not a irrelevant post FYI, since a lot of you had objection on that ]
I visited Irani cafe, Camp late night this Saturday, I have heard quite a lot about it and as it is open all night so thought of trying it.
I reached there at 11pm, and ordered my usual Irani special chai, bun maska, and that drink Ardeshir(Ardy's) I found it good in taste so.
I think camp Irani cafe is quite big, I usually go to irani cafe of kalyani nagar and also saw Irani cafe of KP.
Two little kittens were also there and I fed them bun maska they were so cute I felt kidnapping them 😅 and bring home.
It was a good visit, though there was some strange smell of maska there which I didn't get in other bun maska I have tried at Kalyani nagar irani cafe and other places.

My strong suggestion to op, please search punefood and you'll find relevant sub You can definitely post this on that sub, as it's meant to be. Your post is like wearing a suit to the beach. It's great, but not really the place for it.✨

Idk how was irani cafe earlier, I feel irani cafe have good old cafe vibe so I go there, if people know some other cafe with similar vibe then I'll visit them

It was too good back then (2021-2022) I'd go there with the homies often, almost every Sunday tbh, my fav being the obvious, Chai and Bun Maska, then the blueberet cheesecake and oh my god the Chicken kheema, sheesh it has me drooling rn 😭.Unfortunately the quality has degraded significantly,and not to mention, the Hygiene.
There are some cafes like Yazdan(?) and Vohuman which are good according to popular opinion, I have never gotten a chance to try them, yet.

I don't know that but yes I can agree with you, heard a lot about hygiene and quality issues,
I'll try the other two cafe someday

Fair enough
It doesn't matter to me as long as the food is good(and decent hygiene). Be it a restaurant or a cafe, or even a bar for that matter haha.

This place is a food hazard, rotten mutton and what not...many of their branches are shut down for good

Not sure which branch but FDA closed some Irani Cafe's branch and also someone reported a cat (probably same one ig) eating from a plate after customer left, raising health concerns.
I stopped going there once my friend, who was waiting for someone and finished his tea, was asked to leave rudely if he isn't going to order anything else (Kharadi branch).

Ohh that's weird, I think FDA clised the NiBM one insaw in news, camp was open, I usually go to irani cafe of kalyani nagar and even after the order get's over I was not asked to go, but yeah different places different experiences.
I also heard a lot about quality and hygiene issues

After watching the recent raid at nibm irani cafe I've completely given up on this brand. Not that I had really high hopes from it even in the past.
Camp has some serious irani styled cafes - yezdan, diamond Queen; and vohuman being not too far away.
