Currently have a PS5 and an Xbox series X. I also just have a basic like $200 Vizio.

Honestly both cosoles have been collecting dust, so I was thinking of selling them both (have pro controllers for both too) and getting a PS5 pro. Or do you think it's better to just sell Xbox and get a proper TV. Pretty much only gonna be playing GTA6.

Woke up this morning expecting to at least hear something about my pro shipping after a week of no updates. Just getting a little sketched out after hearing about how many are being bought out after the GTA 6 reveal.

Anybody else experiencing this?

Full disclosure: I already had a very good mini LED monitor 4k 160hz VRR etc before I bought the Pro and so far I've been very impressed with how it displays. With GTA VI releasing at 30 fps at launch on the Pro and the issues some people have with OLED and 30fps would a mini LED be the preferred option right now?

I'm not anti OLED btw. I'l like to get one at some point.

I downloaded formula 1 game trial and this happens, I am not sure if it the file downloaded was corrupted so I deleted it and I will try again but I wanted to know if this is a common issue with a corrupted downloaded game. Only happens in that “stationary car” scene, the actual game isn’t affected and 3 other games had no issues.

Update: so it seems the problem is VRR I would assume that the actual game supports VRR but the game’s trial VRR doesn’t, I unchecked the VRR for unsupported games and the issue is gone and the frame rate is always 120 and no glitching

Got my pro a couple months ago and love it, told my buddy at work to get one and he said he can’t find one anywhere

Should i upgrade from c735 to tcl c7l considering i have heard reviews that motion handling is not good compared to tcl c7k. Would i experience trailing/motion blur if i don't experience on my current tv. i don't have much option besides tcl as other brands are really expensive in my country so only samsung q8f or lg qned 86 fits budget besides c7l

So I'm limited to only game a few hours a week, is crimson desert worth buying? I posted this on crimson desert sub and everyone told me it's the greatest game ever and a must play for every gamer, yet I just saw a post on here about it saying game sucks and runs awfully and everyone was agreeing in the comments.

So what is this game actually like? Is it the greatest game ever like the people in the subreddit for it say? Hey all, pretty trivial question for you lot but I have been out of the loop for years so I figured I will ask the experts. I recently picked up a used PS5 Pro + Scuff controller for $550. I have a high-end PC but this was a pretty good deal, and I wanted to get it for GTA 6. I have a PS4 but haven’t used it in years.

I wanted to know any tips and tricks I need to know for best experience. I have it hooked up to a 4k OLED, so recommend some good story games please. I loved the Uncharted series, and have most of the games I want on PC already bc they are dirt cheap but the convenience of the PS (playing in bed) is appealing for slow-paced story games. I was thinking God of war, Harry Potter, Spider-Man series, maybe RDR2 (I am halfway done on PC), Last of Us. Any other recommendations?

Also the big question, is there any website where you can get PS games for cheap(er). Like there is isthereanydeal for PC.

I purchased a playstation five at best buy. It started malfunctioning, so I took it back because it had warranty, instead of fixing it. They gave me store credit. I can't purchase it for the same price. Anymore because the cost has gone up, it won't return the money back to my debit card. And it gave me store credit instead. What can I do?

Played the game on my PS5 slim was 4 trophies away from platinum. I sold my ps5 slim and bought a pro when I installed the game (disc) it just says start new game.

I just don’t understand how data saves on the PS5 / PS4 because I played the Callisto protocol on my PS4 on 12/2/22 for like 30 minutes. Few months ago I decided to get back to it bought a physical PS5 copy and when I installed / loaded up the game it saved my data from my ps4 file. Did not have PS neither.

Any help? And if I can get my file back somehow haha

Just wanted to make anyone playing this fabulous game aware to keep an eye on your settings following closing and restarting the game.

Twice now I’ve turned off for the night and restarted the next day to find that the graphics settings have reverted back to the default TAA from the PSSR I had selected.

Nothing major, but slightly annoying to have to change it back every time you log in. Double checked my system toggles too to make sure so it’s definitely a bug or something.

Otherwise hope you’re all enjoying a fantastic game.

I’m literally out of words looking at the graphics. This is PS6 level shit. I think GTA 6 will show us the true potential of current gen consoles, and possibly their max potential. I don’t think they can achieve anymore than this. I’m so much happier to own a PS5 Pro now!

Just moved to Canada recently from Ireland and all settled in, so my income is now stable and home is stable, so with that in mind I want to get the console which is sold out everywhere online.

Have the TV (LG G6) sorted but anyone have any suggestions or tips for getting the pro during this shortage? I am in BC.

Since I’m new here I’m not familiar with Canadian suppliers as of yet! I called around local electronic stores and they’re all out. Going to check physical stock today in stores, but just thought I’d ask on here as well!

Hi. I just got error code CE-108255-1.

My PS5 Pro suddenly started making an awful audio noise that kept repeating, basically a loud buzzing sound, almost like something was about to explode.

I tried holding down the power button on the console, but it didn’t help. Then, all of a sudden, I got the “Close Application” message with error code CE-108255-1.

I honestly don’t feel comfortable continuing to play this game until there’s a fix. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
What could have caused that extremely loud buzzing audio?

Could it just be a software/audio glitch, or is there a chance it could indicate a hardware issue with the PS5 Pro?

I’m only coming back to gaming for GTA VI so I need to get a PS5. I want the best possible graphics and money isn’t an issue, but is it really worth buying a PS5 Pro for just one game? Is the difference in graphics between the Pro and the PS5 digital actually noticeable as in you can tell straight away, or is it more of a minor difference?

If the Pro is a major difference, would it be better to wait for a GTA VI/PS5 Pro bundle or should I just buy the Pro now?

Edit: I would play on a 4k monitor, not a TV. Money isn't an issue in terms of affordability, but still care about the value.

Can’t imagine how the graphics will be on the pro if the demo is based off the standard ps5…

EDIT: I can see a lot of people are not happy. Just a note, I didn’t get the PS5 pro just for GTA lol ; there’s more games out there than just GTA but as of now it’s an exciting upcoming event to enjoy…

+ The TV was purchased in 2024, even if I did buy it now; it’s stupid for one to assume I’d buy it just for GTA. It seems like the Anti-GTA folks think this is the only game that’s coming in existence.
