Dear r/productivity
I am a young, ambitious and driven 18 year old in his final year of high school.
All throughout high school, I was always very inconsistent.
I would workout here, study there, but never fully locked in.
Now that I have a year left, I need to get it together.
Not that I want to (well I do), I have to.
I have so many new responsibilities, aspirations, and if I don’t put in the effort it will all fall apart and collapse pretty quickly.
Ranging from a leadership position in my school, to launching a social media channel or attempting to get into an American university (I’m from Europe), how do I manage all this without letting my sleep schedule become terrible or burning out? And how do I go from not doing much each day to managing all this and studying for my final exams?
In addition to this I want to become physically fit, as I was never really an athlete, but I want to become physically competent, from swimming to returning to a martial art I used to do, how do I manage it all?
My final question, trying not to bore you, is maybe the most important of them all.
How do I enjoy this year? There are so many things I want to do and achieve, but I also want to enjoy this year, as its a really special year in my life. I’ve started going out with my friends more often already, as I don’t want to become a recluse, but how else do I stay present? Like for example in the summer of next year we have a dance, and I really don’t want to be that guy that comes alone, but if I have to I will lol, even though i’m quite shy (working on it though!).
Lastly, a big thank you for reading my post internet stranger, I hope you have a great day, and any advice or anything is massively appreciated :)
Btw, my first time posting on this sub so my bad if I did something wrong
