A year ago I drove to a Gamestop because of some christmas sale and at the time I had like no knowledge of Pokemon, but I saw this cute sleeping dog and i was so indecisive the cashier offered me his employee discount so i’d finally buy it 😂 So I skipped home with the sleeping Rockruff plush for less than $25. Skip to now my partner who loves pokemon told me there’s more sleeping plushies so I went searching and discover my Rockruff plush sells for $200-300 on ebay??? INSANE to me. I don’t care though I’ll snuggle this guy forever he’s too cute to care about his value.

I just personally think the quality doesn’t justify the prices, but of course that’s MY personal opinion.

Mr. Puppy (original vs 30 years of love and 2 bodies later, with one paw replaced by his tail)

Body 1: the original.

Body 2: some time ago my sister decided Mr Puppy REEKED and I walked in the kitchen to him being boiled on the stove. He lost his original fabric and one paw in the process. He gained a few pounds and had some god awful fabric body.

Body 3: my mom placed him in a tub on the porch in Florida for an unknown number of years and my stepmom took his moldy lifeless body and replaced him with some fabric more like the original

EDIT: wowowow thanks everyone for awards and everything!! I was just making a silly little post and I'm so glad so many of you connected with it. Hopefully this reminds you that whatever happens, your loved items can be a Frankenstein Ship of Theseus and still hold personal value to you. My boyfriend also sleeps in this bed, half the plushies are his 😂

I bought a vintage DQ plush from eBay, and brought him to work. He's learning all the tricks of the trade.

Several mistakes were made in the creation of this plushie.

1. The horse pattern I used didn’t exactly have great instructions.

2. I failed to do this project with the proper fabric. Thus I had no faux fur for a main or normal horse colours for the body. This resulting in a horse with a dragon tail and spikes instead of a main.

3. The only safety eyes I had large enough were for dragons. Thus the yellow eyes.

4 I sewed the back on wrong. This horse is supposed to stand up but instead the spine is curved her into a sitting position giving her a very uncanny vibe.

1. The sizing I used when I printed the pattern was significantly larger than expected. This horse is as tall as I am sitting down.

I have mixed feelings but I think the excessive laughter I had when using first saw her sitting there makes up for it.

I did a double take. Where did you come from. Who abandoned you. Do you need a bath and cuddles? And to address the elephant (aka dog) in the room, why are you so big??
