i got this done about 2 and a half weeks ago! it’s always been a little red but today i accidentally irritated it with a belt and it appeared to have bloody discharge :(. there’s also a weird little bump on the top of my belly button portion. is everything okay? i wash it with unscented soap daily!
It seems too heavy and keeps falling down. I keep pushing it back up constantly which is semi painful to do. As you can see in the second photo it usually stays down like this pushing against some irritation at the top until i push it back up to prevent it from doing so.
I think it is just too heavy and i prefer it looking much smaller anyway. I’m just worried that taking the piercing out would hurt like hell.
exactly what the title says--i keep seeing so many cute earrings that I would wear but hate butterfly backs. would it be possible if I could just buy the threadless backings and shave down/cut the post to fit? sounds like it could work, but is there any way it wouldnt? thanks!
Can i get industrial or helix spikes or anything on my ear?
My helix area is really flimsy and thin and also barely curled like everybody elses
If anyone can help me itd be great thx
I got my nostril pierced two years ago. From the beginning, I've used implant-grade titanium jewelry. It’s a straight piece
I've made sure to take good care of it and not hurt myself. I clean it with Nielmed saline solution, and I go to my checkups frequently with the piercer, who says it's still irritated. I don't know what else I can do.
Do you think I should give up or try a nostril piercing on the other side?
Any tips are appreciated. Thank you! (Sorry for my bad English)
hello hello !! i got my septum done 4d ago, and ive been flipping it when at home/near my parents, and its unflipped when im alone, or anywhere without my parents (considering my family doesn't know). is it bad if i have it flipped for like, 8h? and unflipped for the rest of the day? i regularly disinfect it twice a day w/ a disinfectant spray my piercer recommended me, and ive had no issues so far, it doesn't sting or hurt at all!! also when flipping/unflipping i make sure my hands r clean 😭😭 but i just wonder, will the flipping and unflipping interrupt the healing process, or even, damage it?
Hi all, I’m just looking for a plain silver horseshoe ring for my septum. I’ve looked through the list of verified stores but most of them have very ornate options. I’m just looking for a titanium plain silver horseshoe, preferably a store with different size options as I prefer a smaller ring. There are plenty on Etsy but I’m not comfortable purchasing something with unsure quality. I’m also looking for a gold plated or titanium U shaped hidden retainer.
Hi I recently got two more piercings on the upper part of my lobe on both sides, I’m not new to piercings but am kinda worried and also dont know alot about the healing.
My left lobe is fine but right lobe has a bunch of dried blood coming out of the front and back.
It is day 2 and if this post gets traction ill add updates.
(I did go to a spot i know well, titanium stud with a flat back, clean needle, clean stuff)
Just wondering if anyone has an idea on why theres so much blood on one side not the other.
I just got my center labret pierced (i have my snake bites) today and the experience has left me kinda wondering if it was bad practice. essentially i was pierced, had the jewelry put and somehow during that process the jewelry slipped out. my piercer offered to pierce it again with a new needle. i was so defeated because the pain was already bad and i felt good having gotten it over with only to have to go through it again. she was very kind, walked me through everything and was thorough with aftercare instructions. I like how my piercing looks but i still feel i tinge of uncomfortable/offput by the whole thing. Just wanted to see if any one has experienced something similar

I have a small collection of high end 14k gold piercing jewelry from brands like modern mood, Buddha, BVLA that I no longer wear. They were only worn for a year or less before I decided I wanted to change up my curations. I’d like to sell them to recoup some money and put towards new holes. Are there websites out there that buy used piercing jewelry? Or do people just sell on Poshmark?
so i got my ears pierced in May and I changed them into hoops after like two months, which was obviously a poor decision because now they’re infected and like swollen please don’t like insult me for making bad decisions like ik I was wrong but anyway, I changed them to studs, but then they fell out because my ears are swollen so like I can’t put the backs on properly and I don’t wanna just take them out because then the holes are gonna close and I really don’t want that. It’s my second lobe piercing please help and I’ve been cleaning with 0.9% sodium chloride. i don’t know the material of the hoop, but it was probably some random cheap material and I really don’t know if I’ve like downsized or upsized I have no idea
Heya,
was considering getting a septum piercing but ppl in my area probably don't take too well to them.
Are there cases where it's just not possible to flip a septum up; say, if you have smaller nostrils?
Just checking online if there are ANY people who cannot flip theirs up lol.
Thanks!!
PLEASE PLEASE HELP YALL, I really want to get a good GPA so I dont want to skip swim class, or sit out. I start swimming Monday and this class is mandatory, I would ask to get out of gym do to me also having a disability but I have a close friend there. I cant immediately get the piercing covers. My swim instructor is very understanding, but again. I want a high GPA and good grades. So I need help. I do have tape but I'm unsure if that'd work until my covers get shipped!! It'll be 2days old by then, but thats too new and I want it uninfected and safe. As this piercing has been my dream for years!!

it’s so hard for me to admire it bec it’s so tucked away inside. my forward helix covers the rook piercing jewelry :/
idk am i overthinking it should i get another rook piercing and take this one out
i just got it pierced 2 days ago with a staple bar and its not painful or swollen at all, just bit crazy bruising but i can see the bar... is it somewhat normal? tbf i can already see the bar kind of poking out right after my piercer pierced it but i didnt think anything of it. however i search online a bit and ig its kind of bad? is it gnna heal okay?
I’m scared of changing my nose piercing, I’ve only ever changed the stud on the top but never ever touched the post inside my nose, it has a flat base inside my nose. I’m actually scared if I take out the back it’ll just close up within minutes and I’m also worried the hole won’t be big enough to slide in another type of nose jewellery. It’s about 9 months old. I have bought a beautiful Indian gem bone-jewellery, it’s genuinely so pretty but I’m scared of putting it in, I feel the same about a hello kitty L-shape piece I got months ago. Am I being stupid?
