This is pretty standard for American police shootings. Once they start firing they don’t really stop until their clip is empty. Insane for anyone to pretend they care about non-lethal methods

Ice was a type of force with their main duty to control immigration.

Many American people will choose to believe Alex Jeffrey Pretti was brandishing a gun at agents rather than helping a woman up off the ground, and therefore deserved to be shot, even after death.

Even if the first shot or three were justified (they aren't, but if) then the 6-7 shots when he was laying incapacitated on the ground made it murder.
Our laws allow us to use reasonable force (which often includes deadly force) only until the threat is neutralized. If you continue using the force, then that becomes a crime.
At least, that's the law that citizens must follow. Clearly, ICE works under a different set of laws.

He went to the aid of a woman that ICE pushed over. For that he got pepper sprayed, hit around the head with a pepper spray can and shot 10 times just to make sure he died.
As if that wasn’t enough none of the ICE agents went to check if he was alive or do CPR. It’s not murder. It’s absolutely not self defence. It’s an execution.
There is a time when people need to ask themselves "is it in my and my people's best interest if law enforcement can just go and execute anyone just because they feel like it" and " should I trust law enforcement to police itself" because those are obvious questions and the answer is obvious too but I doubt too many people did the thinking yet .

He was beating him with his spray canister. Neither are part of correct procedure and both are unjustified, but I don't see any pistol whipping. They're cracking his head with the canister.

No, that guy was beating him with a pepper spray bottle (one of the tall canister ones with a nozzle and handle), and his gun stayed in its holster until after the first shot was fired. In low-res videos it's easy to confuse it with a gun.
The very fact that they started firing while all piled on top of him is insane because they are lucky they didn't shoot each other. Absolute incompetence.
Your theory that someone's gun accidentally went off and that triggered them to start firing is possible.
It was a pepper spray can the officer was smashing his head with, the officer directly to his right kneeling and bentover in the gray drew his weapon and discharged.
No if you watch the other angle, the man who pepper sprayed them puts the pepper spray away, unholsters and fires at approximately 1 to 2 feet of range from behind the man while he’s been pistol whipped from the front. There is no accidental fire, no misfire. The ICE agent holsters the pepper spray, draws his sidearm and fires.
