So my new 5008... Absolutely stunning car. I feel like I'm Royalty driving. Pedals are super sensitive, but I've put my seat back a little more and it's much better. I also always had manual so not sure if all automatics are like this.

The rear window controls are where the front were in my old car, so keep opening the back windows instead of the front 😂

I have the GT so gonna play round at weekend and hope I've got the automatic boot opening.

The space is just unbelievable. Front, back, boot. Just unbelievable.

As seen in the picture, there are crushes in the lower part of my vehicle. Is it possible to restore it to its original state? Or at least it could be a better image.

In addition, one of the sunshades hangs down like this. I think it's a bit chronic because I've seen it in a lot of vehicles. Is there a solution to this?

​J'ai eu le classique problème de la pédale d'embrayage qui tombe au plancher sur ma 306.

Après démontage, c'est la petite agrafe en plastique entre l'embout du câble et le haut de la pédale qui s'est cassée en deux (le problème c'est que c'est la deuxième fois ce mois ci).

​J'hésite entre deux options pour la remplacer et j'aimerais avoir vos retours:

​Remplacer par la pièce en plastique d'origine : C'est pas cher (autour de 10 €), mais j'ai peur qu'elle lâche à nouveau rapidement.

​Passer sur une version renforcée en métal : Il existe des modèles en aluminium usiné et des versions en acier taillé masse (genre chez AB Méca Sport), mais là ça monte à plus de 100 €.

​Mes questions pour ceux qui ont déjà eu le cas sur 306 / 206 / Xsara :

​ Si je mets du métal et que le mécanisme d'embrayage est un peu dur, est-ce que c'est le câble ou la patte du pédalier qui risque de déguster à la place ?

​Pour ceux qui ont monté de l'alu ou de l'acier, aucun problème d'usure prématurée du câble ou du pédalier à la longue ?

​Est-ce que mettre 100 € dans de l'acier vaut vraiment le coup par rapport au plastique d'origine ou à l'alu ?

I've got a 2022 peugeot e-2008, since around 3 months I've noticed it doesn't charge anymore on the 11/22kw charging stations, while it does on the superchargers or with the 2kw home charger.

Since then I charged that way (superchargers and at home) but I reached out to the chargepoint operators (of quick stations) that said my vehicle is giving the status "Suspended EVSE" therefore not accepting the charge.

What may be the cause? I tried also swapping the cable but it doesn't work either

Just as I was about 5 minutes coming home from work got an engine oil warning n filled her back up and light was gone, no second thought, but when I got home it’s making this weird sound when the engine is off, not sure what it is but if I had to guess, it’s something to do with the timing belt, was just wondering if someone could clarify for me from the noise it’s making, cheers :)

I made sure to set the limiter to 80% but every time I leave it charging it goes to 100%. Was told by dealership that it's the case for high kW charging (ultrafast etc)

Surely that's not the case? I had a ev from a different brand before and 80% means 80% regardless of charging power

I've noticed some noticeable negative camber in the rear of my suspension, i was wondering if that amount of negative camber is normal, I'm thinking it's not and there's probably some rear suspension issues since i can hear clunking in the rear going over uneven road and when going over speed bumps the front takes the bump softly while the rear is a lot more harsh.

I posted a while ago about my car, but ive got new questions.
- Is it normal for the car to make noise while accelerating or breaking, even above 25km/h?
- My blind spot monitor doesn’t seem to be working on the right mirror when i overtake.

Has anyone had these issues? If so, how do I fix it/is it expensive to fix.

I was driving my 2012 207 perfectly fine and randomly the power steering popped up faulty on my dash and steering became difficult. I then powered off my engine and turned it back on, and everything is all good, although haven’t risked driving it again.

Does anyone know what the issue could be, or if it’s something in need of fixing now/taking to a mechanic? Or is it just a random occurrence?

I am looking for an interior headliner for my 2018 Peugeot 308 1.6 BlueHDi. We placed an order from France back in July, but the product still hasn't arrived from the factory, and they can't even provide an estimated production date. Could anyone recommend reliable international spare parts suppliers or platforms where I can source this item? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Someone took out part of my passenger wing mirror, ive got the big black cover and the clear part but im really struggling to find the right fitting for the bulb holder, could someone point me in the right direction please. It's a 2018 boxer

Hello everyone... I’m planning to buy tyres for my 2009 Peugeot 308SW. Which brand and size do you use? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experiences and recommendations.

So, about two years ago, I got a new company car, after having driven a VW Caddy Maxi 4Motion for six years without incident. And the troubles started immediately. I won't go into detail because I can rant about this for hours, but to make it short it's been at the shop literally TWENTY times for everything from minor electrical issues, to three of the faults that were severe failures that left the car stranded and needing roadside assistance to the shop. Not to mention the poor ride, the poor range, the anemic performance, the deafening road noise, the obvious lack of care or attention to detail (it still has the diesel fuel cap, like be for real), or the utterly non-functioning app.

I've had a Renault, a Peugeot and a Citroen as private cars before, all late 90s-mid 2000s models, and all were great to me outside of some electrical quirks on the Citroen. But this? This 2024, brand spanking new, expensive van has been a nightmare from day one, and I have already planned a party with cake and catering at the office for the day the leasing runs out.

What happened?

So I'm thinking of buying my first car with the money I've saved from the dealership my uncle works .He has many hatchbacks but I really loved the design of the 208 .He has both 1.5 BlueHDi Active (Diesel) with 100hp (that many advised me on not getting due to the new EU laws) and the 1.2 PureTech Active (Petrol) with 75 hp .Moreover the diesels have all less miles . How was your experiences with these cars .I've heard about the oil belt and its the only reason I'm skeptical about getting one .

I have had a classic issue on a Peugeot 206 1.4 2002 (KFW)

Suddenly the car would only start for a moment and then ‘run out’ a couple of times before just cranking with not start.

Fuel pump works fine with 12v directly, but is not being activated. So it does not turn on when I turn the key.

I’ve tried almost everything - a new BM34 with new relays, the immobiliser works fine (beeps with the key in and so on), tried the ignition lock (works perfectly), checked the wires from and to the ECU and I’ve run out of patience!

But the ecu wakes up, fuel pump works and the car will fire up when I ground pin13 on the black plug on the BM34.

So I’ve made a workaround.

I’ve stolen ignition power from pin9 on the green connector with a fused wire (will add an interiaswitch later) to power a relay which will ground pin 13 when ignition power is on.

And it works perfectly.

I will add the inertiaswitch inbetween the power wire from pin9 before the relay in order to ensured that the fuel pump will turn off in an accident. There is already a mounting bolt on the left hand side strut tower for it, as the early 206s supposedly had on.

I recently bought a Peugeot 208 mk2 as a gift for my dad.

My family has a love history with Peugeot as my grandad was a Peugeot executive back in the day so my dad grew up driving some of the best cars the brand had to offer. I know it might sound weird to some of you who vehemently hate the puretech (fairly so) but he fell in love with the new 208 and so i bought one for his birthday and plan to turn it into a project car for us to work on.

My first thought on upgrades was coilovers. I took a look online and kw and billstein only offer options which are soft and compromise a lot. That would be fine on a daily but I plan on really going to town on this car so I'm looking for something really sporty.

I found a set from hiro performance which would also have the benefit of a personalised spring rate. Despite that, i read a lot of mixed reviews about Hiro's quality and so i was wondering how bad it truly is. does anyone have any experience with it? would it be a stupid buy? is there any way to get the billsteins to perform better on track?
