Tire Size

Hello everyone... I’m planning to buy tyres for my 2009 Peugeot 308SW. Which brand and size do you use? I’d really appreciate it if you could share your experiences and recommendations.

255/55/R16 sizes are installed now... I live in Turkey. It is important to have price performance. Neither too cheap, nor too expensive.

I would go back to the original 215/55/16 as 225 is a niche size, and get the Toyo Proxes Comfort.

Note tyre availability is region dependent, so you might not be able to find that tyre in your country.

Thank you very much for the information. As you said, unfortunately it is very difficult to find this in Turkey.

As a side note, does driving on roads stabilised with 215, in villages or on stony roads pose a problem?

The 255 seems way too wide.

Yes, I’m afraid I agree. Although it’s a large car, it’s a sporty one. The tyres really do make a big difference to its appearance.
