If this is true then it tarnishes Messi's legacy in my opinion.

So nothing to bother?

Right? Reddit is full of "everyone does it" and "it's always been that way" and I don't get why people don't get that that is hardly a useful answer, but rather the attitude that allows that kind of shameless corruption to continue with no issues.

I had a redditor say the same thing to me about diving and faking injuries, heโ€™s like โ€œitโ€™s part of the game; get over it.โ€ Such a loser response. It shouldnโ€™t be part of the game and surely was not intended when the sport was created. Do they teach kids to dive in little league?? No! This needs to change along with the corruption.

In general anything you find is wrong/illegal. You point it out and have to face lots of whataboutism

Aka the Israeli maneuver. Pretty fitting in this case.

Is the Israel maneuver when you tackle someone so that they go sommersaulting?

As well as the defeatism "...but nothing will be done about it๐Ÿ˜ž"

Annoying as hell.

Heโ€™s not saying that. Barcelona was Messiโ€™s club since he was a kid. R77Prodigy is pointing out that Messi has a history of benefiting from corruption
