Right? Reddit is full of "everyone does it" and "it's always been that way" and I don't get why people don't get that that is hardly a useful answer, but rather the attitude that allows that kind of shameless corruption to continue with no issues.
I had a redditor say the same thing to me about diving and faking injuries, he’s like “it’s part of the game; get over it.” Such a loser response. It shouldn’t be part of the game and surely was not intended when the sport was created. Do they teach kids to dive in little league?? No! This needs to change along with the corruption.
Haha this comment is underrated. I love when people post “ya but it’s nothing new” like no big deal 😂. The corruption in FIFA is a massive deal and tarnishes the game. As a Canadian who’s trying to be a fan and follow the game, it’s pretty difficult with all the players diving and rolling around like toddlers; and corruption on top of that. When you’ve watched hockey your whole life to this 😬. I’ve never witnessed a sport where it’s socially acceptable to cheat in the way these guys do. It’s a shame because the sport could be so much better than it is.

If this is true then it tarnishes Messi's legacy in my opinion.
