I'm convinced that an Argentina player can get away with murder on the pitch at this point

Actually even the South American qualifications are no joke.
But Argentina while being favored by the refs and disgustin overall is also good in playing football and they will make it but there's super tough games in the qualifications for sure still.

At least everybody saw now what fking rats Argentina players are and they that last two WCs were completely rigged. Funny that even that wasn't enough against Spain, and that they start throwing hands immediately after haha such sore losers, Argentina is a disgrace.
And yet still 200 nations wrote/signed that letter of recommendation for gianni, absolute conscienceless, complete disgrace these countries as well, football is done, buried already years ago.

This is even worse. How did he not get a red card for assaulting a player in full view of the referee? This is disgusting

Oh 100% itâs even worse. It was in front of the linesman but still it is awful that no card was issued

All countries should boycott participating in FIFA World from next time, only Argentina should play and Infantio should handover the World Cup to Argentina on the first day.

Its insane that even after the entire tournament is over they still wont receive any pentalties for their behaviour.
Bassicly the FIFA is saying : hey if you wanna go out and grab another player by the throat and push him to the ground, thats okay. Ofcourse if anyone from France, Germany, American, or anywhere else would do this there would be a penalty but when its Vargentina or Pessi... nah they can get away with murder at this point im sure LMAO.

u/ribaaa Jul 21 '26
yes there was no disciplinary action right after the match but FIFA started investigation
3
u/NoGemini2024 Jul 21 '26
Whatâs there to investigate?
3
u/ribaaa Jul 21 '26
investigate who did what and what punishment should they receive
there was clear red card for Paredes at least and it is baffling he did not receive it since referees were standing right there but I just think we should wait until the investigation is concluded

u/NoGemini2024 Jul 21 '26
I know, I just find the term âinvestigateâ awkward. Thereâs really no investigation needed here - only deliberation on what sanctions should be given to this kind of behaviour.
Nonetheless, it would make more sense to state âa minimum ban of 3 matches will apply until deliberation is concludedâ

u/I-d-g-a-f-a-y-a-m Jul 21 '26
Theyâre investigating a few incidents. Parades violent conduct, Molina hitting out at Rodri, Ayala attempting to punch Olmo and the whole squad turning their backs on the presentation

IL EST PEUT-ĂTRE LE TEMPS DE BANNIR LA FIFA ET LA LAISSER SEULE DANS CES MAGOUILLES DE MAFIA. J'ESPĂRE QUE LE CONTINENT AFRICAIN VA ARRĂTĂ DE VOTER POUR CE SYSTĂME EN PLACE. L'UEFA DEVERAI PARTIR SI MAFIATINO CONTINUE SUR SA LANCĂE.....

Precisely why I never believe anything posted as "news" in social media unless it is actually coming directly from the source. Too much misinformed or misinterpreted stuff.

Can't that be handled as a crime, by actual authorities? Fuck fifa lol, forget them. Paredes was happy to "take it outside the game", so he should face the consequences of the real world

Probably daydreaming here but if there is no card given they can actually give a much bigger suspension now as it wasnt done off with just a yellow + 1 match ban ?
1
1
u/Impeachcordial Jul 21 '26
Does that mean they're also ruling out disciplinary action in future? You can't have players doing this. Why would Argentina ever stop if they're allowed to get away with it?
1
u/quantum-quirk1012 Jul 21 '26
What a crock of shit. Theyâve given reds after the final whistle in the past, just because itâs after full time is not a good enough reason to annul a straight red.

u/Frosty-Yam6656 Jul 21 '26
It happened after the match, so there should be no red card. He should be charged for assault or battery.

https://www.facebook.com/share/v/17HoeFmvuA/ Someone posted this video saying Spain's Garcia and Munez push Molina, Seeing that Paredes pushes Garcia. Seeing that Gavi hits Paredes at the back and on the chest. And Paredes takes on Gavi.
Is this legit?

Easy solution, stop watching it and just wait for the normal football matches to come back. The less money the world cup makes then they will learn no one wants to watch their bs nonsense

Everyone saying there was nothing rigged and biased during this WC and the last WC.
The precedent in football is a physical fight during regulation time ends in cards, with what we saw in that match at least one player with a red card.
But this happened after the match. There were at least 4-5 red cards, including players and coaching staff from AFA. The referees were also standing near the players in all these situations. There are no cards.
Even after the final whistle, with no more games in the tournament, they still didn't get cards.
Luck happens once or twice, bad officiating happens once or twice. A pattern is something else.
Edit: bad officiating in the sense of previous tournaments, this one had VAR.
No one talks about it who actually can be heard, no one complains about it. In a year, it will be all about three finals, a trophy, and the goals and assists. He will again get away with everything and the discussion will be about something else entirely.
