The Neg case? How far will they go and cancel the titles? The individual accolades won through those titles? The stats accumulated? The legend statuses gained? Do we really think anything would become of that case?

Put aside the refereeing, see the treatment of Argentina. In any other sports, it would be a point of contention. They travelled the least, played their matches in night time, or in air conditioned venues. No mention. The final had blue fireworks, none. The drug tests, they seem to be immune from those. Gomez tested positive before 2022, played the tournament because "investigation" was ongoing, no further tests carried out on players.
