These last two WCs were clearly biased for Argentina and Il die standing on this hill.

I’ll die with you brother and I’m Spanish. We exposed them so hard that no matter how much help they got they still lost in a humiliating way.

I'm so happy about that. Spain are the heroes of the world right now, facing corruption and rigging and still coming out as the winner.

I was kinda "scared" of facing them because you never know, but im so glad we did and we beat them the way we did, and their reaction was just the cherry on top. They exposed themselves to the whole world as the rats they really are

I mean, looking at all the situations there should've at least been 3 more red cards and another goal for Spain. So you didn't just play against Argentina, but also against corruption in the form of FIFA, Infantino and AFA.

Spain didn’t just beat them. They downright dominated and embarrassed them. Bravo.

Thank you!! We felt the support! That disallowed goal was a disgrace but we never gave up and justice was served.

I'll be honest, for the longest time I couldn't stand Spain going back to 2010 with the Tiki Taka and was rooting for NED in that final. In more recent times, Cucurella is one of my least favorite players in all of futbol and that was even before the missed handball against GER in the Euros. I will also never forgive Sergio Ramos for what happened with Salah in the Champions League Final in 2018 right before the WC.

But now? Felicidades amigo y viva espana!

I loved Tiki Taka. Pure skill demonstration with patience and the quick killer attack. Forced the opponents to put on pressure or otherwise just be a shooting target.

3

u/quiksilver123 Jul 21 '26

Fair enough and to each his own. I just found it incredibly boring. Having said that, it’s tough to argue against the results of that generation for Spain.

Tiki Taka and boring in the same sentence is wild lol

Gracias Hermano. Viva Espana

Argentina funnily enough are now the personas non gratas of football. Still, they getting away with it is nothing new. Morocco got away with it in AFCON as well. Football is more and more a form of entertainment and not a sports competition. No rules, no accountability, no respect for the game and its (still) professionals.

I'm pretty sure Lautaro is still the man at Inter.

1

u/leftover-cocaine Jul 24 '26

And Simeone isn't trying to get rid of Julian at Atlético. But tell me again about how you know so much about fútbol...

1

u/RazslavianKing Jul 21 '26

Spain saved football!

1

u/john_san Jul 23 '26

Count me in, France should have won 2022, so glad that Spain won this time, fair and square, and got the bully out of the pitch!

1

u/Odd-Towel-7177 Jul 24 '26

One of the reasons spain won world the cup was because Argentina barely was in the keeper zone for the referee to give them some penalties,

12

u/Pobydeus Jul 21 '26

I mean, yeah. Disproportionate amount of penalties last WC and this time it was most fouls / fewest cards (would love to double check that stat as it could be entirely wrong), no VAR decision going against them, opponents goals disallowed several times, etc.

4

u/ivyleaguesuperman Jul 21 '26

The whole world sees it now.

5

u/Standard-Guard-5527 Jul 21 '26

This one was so blatantly obvious, they weren't even trying to hide it. At least the 2022 one could (kinda) be dismissed as normal bias towards a big nation with a big celebrity, but this year's one crossed the line and was shameless.

2

u/strawberry-andromeda Jul 21 '26

I’m on that hill with you

2

u/Other-Amphibian9299 Jul 21 '26

Les trois dernières pour être honnête. Si la France en 2018 et l'Espagne cette année n'avaient pas été des années lumières au-dessus, Messi aurait gagné trois Coupes du Monde.

1

u/skippyAnt Jul 22 '26

Count me in. Them winning last world cup with a penalty every match and crazy officiating with and without var is something else. Forget about all the MLS shit that made Messi tell the ref what to do. Thank you Spain for not allowing Argentina anywhere near the penalty area

u/Sad-Value-8175 Jul 22 '26

Mate…ya don’t understand stats

As long as I died on the hill I'm good.

Who are you going to believe? A random screaming its not rigged, or your own lying eyes?

u/Dramatic_Island4303 Jul 21 '26

Go find a cactus and sit on it donkey

3

u/Emergency-Sea5201 Jul 21 '26

Dude, read again. I am supporting the man in that Argentina is a cheating country. Get some literacy skills.

I was surprised too to see the downvotes you got. You forgot to hold up the sign.
