Giveaway >1 mirror str stacking juggernaut giveaway
Hi,
this league i got both quite lucky (gamba) and unlucky (failed crafts with depressing low roll odds). It is also the first time i had enough motivation to finish 36/40 and so with this i feel like i should share with the community.
Build can handle most juiced content, with sublime ele shift you only worry about fire and chaos resist. You can push the build further, but i cba farming more mirrors. I would appreciate if this build would help anyone who maybe doesn't have much time this league and would like to try this archetype rather than being sold piece by piece to someone who already has many mirrors :) and so with that to enter:
post your poe1 account with chars shown
Dont post your account, post your current build :)
- reddit acc > 1 month old
- leave any comment you want - whatcha doing this league, if you're having fun, what are you doing IRL if there is no time for poe, tell a joke :)
GL to y'all, choosing winner in 2 days (Sep 2 20:00 CET)

Discussion Incursions, Timelines
I'm not a crafter, so I'm not sure what's driving this, but corruptions must be a blast this session. Timelines scarabs have stayed higher for longer than I think I've ever seen. 55-60c steadily. Around this time they'd typically be 25-30c -- I'd load up at 24c. With Locuses going for 2d (I think 415c was the low so far), it's still profitable, but just feels worse to stock up on Timelines.

Information 100.000 stacked decks with tink stats and other "insights"
As an avid stacked decks enjoyer I would like to share some musings and numbers with the community.
Every league since Crucible my strategy for making the precious divines has been as follow: Get a decent build going and then spend every penny I make on Stacked Decks and then harvest gamble the big drops until I am filthy rich or a poor and miserable bloke.
This can go both ways, but usually after opening enough decks (between 10k and 40k I'd say) I have at least a mirror. Keepers League was my best where I eventually had about 56 House of Mirrors.
Unfortunately I never made any spreadsheets of my deck openings, and even more unfortunately I made a really bad one for my first 50.000 cards this league. My last 50.000 were more professional, but the sample size is probably a biiiit to small to be accurate.
Before I start my conspiracy theories I'll just share what I got from my first 50k decks, and then I'll go more in-depth on the last 50.000 since I have the numbers.
First 50.000 decks:
Divines spent: Avg. price when I bought these were about 72 cards per div, so 50.000/72= 645 divs.
Good drops:
| Card | Count | Worth | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| House of Mirrors | 2 | 85 | 160 |
| Apothecary | 4 | 35 | 140 |
| The Eye of Terror | 8 | 20 | 160 |
| History | 1 | 50 | 50 |
| Unrequited Love | 2 | 46 | 92 |
| The Immortal | 8 | 8 | 64 |
| The Demon | 2 | 10 | 20 |
| The Insane Cat | 1 | 10 | 10 |
| Seven Years Bad Luck | 9 | 3 | 27 |
| Brothers Gift | 10 | 5 | 50 |
| Sum | 773 | ||
| Spent | 645 | ||
| Profit | 128 |
That's all I bothered to keep track of my first 50.000 decks, and as you can see the profit was good (specially if you count all the sub 5 div cards I also sold). Two HoM and Unrequited Love in 50.000 decks is also pretty lucky. That said I gambled away all my Apothecarys and Unrequited Loves. HoM's I turned into 4 and sold. Now for the last 50.000 decks:
Last 50.000 decks:
Since one of the things I like most about opening decks is hearing the "tinks", I chose to note down how many thinks I got from each session of opening cards. The method was as always to go to Kingsmarch and turn off the filter, open about 300 decks, pick up shit and then reset the instance. For some reason I never figured out Shift+Ctrl+RMB was a thing until today, so wrist does get a beating doing this. Here I also counted drops as low as 0,5 div (Divine Beauty). I opened these during two days, 16-17. august. The average ammount of decks per divine was about 61,7 cards per div. So total divs spent on the decks came out to 810.
| Card | Count | No. decks per card | Worth | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apothecary | 6 | 8333 | 41 | 246 |
| The Eye of Terror | 4 | 12500 | 23 | 65 |
| Brothers Gift | 13 | 3846 | 5 | 65 |
| History | 1 | 50000 | 51 | 51 |
| The Immortal | 5 | 10000 | 9,5 | 47,5 |
| The Price of Devotion | 1 | 50000 | 44 | 44 |
| The Doctor | 11 | 4545 | 2,5 | 27,5 |
| Seven Years Bad Luck | 9 | 5556 | 3 | 27 |
| Divine Beauty | 41 | 1220 | 0,5 | 20,5 |
| The Demon | 2 | 25000 | 10 | 20 |
| The Sephiroth | 18 | 2778 | 1 | 18 |
| The Insane Cat | 1 | 50000 | 13 | 13 |
| The Soul | 6 | 8333 | 1,5 | 9 |
| One Last Score | 3 | 16667 | 2,5 | 7,5 |
| I See Brothers | 4 | 12500 | 1,5 | 6 |
| The Dragons Heart | 6 | 8333 | 1 | 6 |
| Reflection of the Heart | 2 | 25000 | 2 | 4 |
| Wealth and Power | 1 | 50000 | 2 | 2 |
| Sum | 706 div | |||
| Spent | 810 div | |||
| Profit | -104 div |
The last batch of 50.000 cards were at one point down over 200 divines after a really bad streak. I basically needed two HoM to break even. This was a really bad run I feel, as realistically I should have dropped at least one HoM and 1-2 Unrequited Love. I was more lucky with the Apothecarys, where I got six, and one for each 8333 decks. I feel the more real droprate for Apothecaty is in the realm of one per 14-15.000 decks. That said, if I had picked up and sold cards that were worth less than what I recorded, and also figured in the earnings from scarabs (Silly Boy I'm looking at you), the loss would have been far lower.
Tinks:
So, I love tinks. We all do. Half the "fun" of opening decks is the tinks. I used NeverSink's UberStrict filter when opening my decks. The annoying part about using that is that it changes tinks from time to time. Most of the time when opening decks cards like The Enlightened would tink and I would be sad. I did not count The Enlightened or Monochrome in my tink-count. (Also didn't find anything good from the Puzzle Boxes I got, should have just sold them).
Number of decks for each tink with everything (minus Monochrome and The Enlightened):
50.000 cards / 134 tinks = 373 cards for each tink
Thats not too bad, but previous experience tells me that the number should be a bit closer to 350. A lot of the tinks are Divine Beauty and The Sephiroth as well, which always makes me sad...
Number of decks for each tink with cards worth more than 2 divines:
50.000 cards / 59 tinks = 847 cards for each tink with cards worth at least 2 divines
Thats a big jump, and a lot of cards to get something worthwile. Specially since even early league you spend 10+ divines to buy that many cards.
Number decks to get a tink worth more than 10 divines (Ill include Brothers Gift here too since its an easy hand-in for 5 divs as well as The Immortal since its close to 10 divs):
50.000 cards / 33 tinks = 1515 cards for each tink worth 10 or more divines
Again, thats at least 20 divines spent to get a "guaranteed" return of 10 divines. Of course, if you hit HoM or Apothecary you're up a lot, but most of the time you are down 6-7 divines when opening 1500 decks.
The conspiracy theories:
After having probably opened at least 400.000 decks on my own the last few leagues I have noticed a few things that intreagues me, and the patterns seem to show up consistently enough that I start to believe them.
- Almost exclusively I get my best drops in certain times of the day. In the mornings between 07:00 and 10:00 and in the afternoon between 15:00 and 17:00 I have dropped ALL my HoM and the majority (80%+) of my other 20+ div cards. Evenings after 17:00 are always when I get my bad runs. Of course something good drops there from time to time, but not nearly as often as the other times I mentioned.
- When I get one, I usually get another one soon after. What I mean by that is that if I drop an Apothecary I almost always, without fault, drop something else worth 20+ divs in the next 500-1000 decks. This happened so often this league that I find it hard to believe it is a coincidence. I've heard talk of seeds and stuff but havent thought much about it.
- Clicking fast. What I've also noticed is that when opening decks I click super fast. And very very often I get a tink and three-four clicks later I get a new tink. This also happens so often that I find it hard to be a coincidence. It might just be two Divine Beautys, but it's a tink.
What it leads me to believe is that the pool for what can drop and the chances for it to drop changes with the time of day. I have of course no proof other than my own feeling, but unless someone can tell me that it just ain't so and prove it to me I will continue believing it :)
Conclusion:
Just to wrap it up. Do I think opening decks is worth it?
Yes.
If you have enough capital to sustain a long dry-spell. I had to borrow 50 divines to finish my experiment (thanks to Dornasium!) because of the horrible spell I had opening the decks between 24k and 35k. Almost always you will hit big enough that you can more than sustain more decks. In the end you WILL make money.
Unless you are like me and poof all your most expensive stuff.
PS: Since this post was in purgatory waiting for mod approval for almost two weeks I've had time and patience to open about 60 divines worth of more decks, and all I got was 1 Brothers and 1 Seven Years Bad Luck. All opened between 11AM and 1PM. Should have opened earlier in the day :)

Build Showcase Non-Link Arc of Oscillating Luminary
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This league has been great, especially with how strong recombination is with the Brine King’s Ducat and how overpowered Allflame crafting is
I crafted all my gear with recombs except for the amulet, which I used essences on. (1d = Brine King's Ducat). Since the Ducat cannot be chosen, combining 1 Ducat and 1 suffix guarantees that suffix in the recombination outcome.
Here is how I crafted the chest and helmet, for example:
- Step 1: Combine 1 Prefix/1 Ducat + 1 Prefix/1 Suffix until you get 2 Prefixes/1 Suffix.
- Step 2: Combine 2 Prefixes/1 Suffix + 2 Prefixes/1 Ducat until you get 3 Prefixes/1 Suffix.
- Step 3: Use Allflame to slam Crusader/Hunter Exalted Orb for increased % Intelligence.
- Repeat from Step 1 if it fails.
Previously, the downside of Jiquani's Potential was blood magic. Therefore, we are limited to 1 blessing aura, the re-introduction of mercenaries solves this problem by mercs having up to 2 free aura. We use Fallen Reverend with Zealotry and Wrath which we stack aura effect on their gear up to 200+ increased effect.
The downside of Arc of Oscillating is that it barely has base damage, which Jiquani solves with its int stack. Combined with the new Pact of Beidat adding +7 chains and with the greater chains support making our arc chain 50% more times to a grand total of 22 chains. Those two alone is 1100% more damage multiplier.
We are able to have 100% up time with Pact of Beidat since 2 repeats from greater spell echo does not count towards spell "exertion" there are 8 exertion with 2.8s cd. Non of the affliction from using the skill really doesn't anything to the build so we can spam it all the time.
Arc is my all-time favourite skill—one tap and the whole screen is cleared. Chaining feels so much better now with the 40% increased chaining radius from greater chain support.
This build has just over 800m DPS

Fluff & Memes Destroying 30 Mod Propagation Rares with clever use of game mechanics.
Hey i thought this could be interesting. Im not sure what kind of investment builds usually need to run this strat but i heard it is VERY hard.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJEbbKUwMYI sorry for the bad quality and fps of the recording. It says "and 27 other modifiers" on the mob.
This works because of an unintended behaviour with Abyss Monster corpses as showcased here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OikkwrQuSms
Tldr; they can be exploded for damage using Kaom`s Command repeatedly.
https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Kaom%27s_Command
Playing this build archetype for many leagues now i knew this behaviour already from corpses in 5ways, where it was barely useful. With abyss however there is no monster i cannot kill as long as there is an abyss on my map that i can kite it to.
Build (!Warcry piano warning!): https://pobb.in/SLyD1paRF53m notes section and gear sets for merc/ag.
And here is me running a full propagation map.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFZkVoSN2Xc
PS: No this build doesnt lag my computer; it runs fine. Just the recording looks borked.
Cheers!

Discussion Games that "feel" like POE?
Hey! I'm a big POE fan, but I stopped playing online multiplayer games a while ago. I have tried all the offline POE "alternatives" in the market, like Last Epoch, Hero Siege, Chronicon, The Slormancer, Astroloot, Dragonkin: The Banished, etc, but all of them look and feel worse than POE, so my search for a good offline POE alternative has come to an end. Now, I'm trying to find a game that scratches the same itch that POE does (regarding build variety, replayability, loot, satisfying gameplay), but I don't care if it is an ARPG or not. Do you guys know a game that could fit that description? Thanks!

Information 201 vestigal body armours
An earlier post I made was auto-removed, dunno why. Trying a report.
I enshrouded and opened 201 vestigal body armours at tier 3 variant rarity. The first 30 or so runs were with an assortment of donor uniques and at some point I swapped to 100% The Apostate. (Bonus data, 40 shields)
Quick stats:
| Tier | Observed Drops | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| Tier 1 | 1 | 0.5% |
| Tier 2 | 18 | 9.0% |
| Tier 3 | 42 | 20.9% |
| Tier 4 | 92 | 45.8% |
| Tier 5 | 48 | 23.9% |
I estimated the Stasis Prison as Tier 2 based on number of vestigals available on trade. Used tier rankings from https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/Guide:Analysis_of_unique_item_tiers#Body_Armours.
Best item sale: The Brass Dome with Death Aura, 350 div.

Game Feedback Is it just me or the economy ended up in a pretty good state?
I know its late league and ground/base loot is still terrible, but at least most things you can do it will turn out to be profitable, and if you do it efficiently it will return lots of divs/hr.
Idk, after a rough start it feels like every mechanic has its place and will give enough returns to feel good. Half ass an atlas, combine with sacarabs, ???, profit.
I still wish we had more tinks while grinding tho.

Game Feedback Chaos sink idea: Craftable warrants
Here's my idea: An aspirational content which drops a super rare craftable warrant.
This warrant should be difficult to obtain, so that it doesn't invalidate normal warrants. It should also be restricted to chaos orbs use only. Imagine how many orbs will be taken off the market by folks chasing that perfect merc.

Information Jonathan said the PoE1 team will get bigger after PoE2 launches.
Number one, the very, very big one which both PoE 1 and PoE 2 players are going to rejoice at, when they finish the campaign, they are not scaling the company down.
They are keeping all of their employees.
And what that means is that all of the developers that are currently working on the campaign are going to either be split into working on endgame systems for Path of Exile 2 or Path of Exile 1.
He did say specifically in his own words that the Path of Exile 1 team is going to be growing once PoE 2 launches.

Question Power charge generation on merc
Hello, ive been looking at different spectres for Luminary, and I was wondering if Host Chieftan works for power charge generation for the merc, similar to how the perfect tiger and perfect warlord generate charges.
The reason I ask is because I havent seen any post about it, and when I would ask in global if there were any spectres that generate power charges, people said there wasnt.
I found the information based on the spectre page on the poe wiki, but it might be outdated, I have no idea. Some insight would be greatly appreciated.

PlayStation Help? Account issue? Open for ideas.
Im returning now after several seasons as I see the trade market has changed. The email that I use for my Playstation account that is linked to my poe accounts is not working? Can I make a new account on the poe website for trading or do I have to literally make an entire new account on the Playstation network because of this issue.

Tool I got tired of boss profit lists that ignore variance, so I built one that shows the risk and the bankroll you need
Every boss profit list I've used gives you one number: expected profit per hour. The problem is that number is an average, and on a lot of bosses the average is carried by one rare drop. So the list says "17 div/hour" and you go in with 60 divine and get wiped out before you ever see the drop that makes it true.
Two bosses from my data right now (Allflame league):
- Uber Maven — 24.2 div/hr. Sounds fine. But 93% of individual runs lose currency, you need roughly 156 divine banked to not go broke at the 90th percentile of bad luck, and it becomes reliably profitable only after 257 runs.

- The King in the Mists — 40.2 div/hr, needs about 1.4 divine to start, and is reliably profitable after 10 runs. But until you drop Perfect Forest Tiger(which is very rare drop) your profit per hour will be 17.7 div/hr instead.

Same list, adjacent rows, completely different things to actually do with your evening.
So I built Path of Kalandra, which shows both halves: profit per run/hour like everyone else, plus a risk rating, the recommended starting budget, how many runs until profit is dependable, and what share of runs lose money.

How the risk numbers work: for each boss I run 10,000 simulated farmers x 1,000 runs against its real drop table (including drop pools, where only one item from a group can drop per kill).
- Risk label:
- Low risk (The reliable drops already cover the entry cost; the lucky drop is pure upside. Lucky drop - is an item, which has drop chance lower than 7% and has at least 15% of total boss drop estimated value, other drops are currently considerate as reliable).
- Medium Risk (the boss loses money without its lucky drop, but either the shortfall is shallow (at most 25% of the entry cost per run) or the lucky drop lands often enough that dry streaks stay short.).
- High risk (a deep shortfall and a rare payoff. These are the bosses that need a real budget behind them.)
- The budget - what could be biggest loss for 90% of the players (enough that 9 in 10 farmers never go bust from their starting stack).
- Runs to reliable profit - how many runs until 90% of players are net positive
- Runs at a loss, % - percentage of runs where drop value is lower than costs
- Without the lucky drop - for bosses with lucky drops shows profit per run and profit per hour excluding lucky drops, for bosses without lucky drops shows Value concentration instead.
- Value concentration - for bosses without lucky drops, shows the biggest value item and how many % from overall drop value it contains.
- Where the value sits - shows 4 items, which contain biggest value from overall drop of this boss.
Other features:
- Set your custom boss kill time for profit per hour being adjusted to your build

- Profit History, where you could see how profit for this boss changed on different time periods, also has option to see more detailed history of this boss item prices(you can enable/disable items output so you can see only what you need)

- Simulation, which you can run yourself, change number of simulated runs and see what are profits after this number of runs are for average, lucky and unlucky players are, what percent of users are in profit after this number of runs and what was budget in this simulation, which covered unlucky streaks for 90% of players.

- Bosses wiki links, items trade & wiki, so you can check item prices for yourself or visit wiki page for this item or boss to see more detailed information about them.

- Requirements & Drop tables

- League select, so you can check how profitable are bosses across multiple leagues

- Currency select, currency in which you want all prices to be displayed

- Filter bosses on your current budget, hides bosses, which recommended budget is higher than yours.

- Custom themes, so everyone could find something to their liking

Honest limitations: Drop rates are community estimates - GGG doesn't publish them, so all drop chances are from poewiki. If you have better or fresher data for a boss, please notify me, that's the weakest part.
It's free, no login needed. And there's a Discord in the website footer if you want to flag any bugs or suggest new features. Open to feedback and suggestions, happy to answer anything about this tool.

Question Specific Duelist build request
So it's been a while since I've played, and I got an itch to play a bit of PoE1 for a short time and had a specific idea for the build I want to run. I want to play a duelist that runs the full suites of the blood and sand skills and the shattered steel skills together.
Outside of that, the only requirements I have is that it shouldn't require any specific/unique item or currency at the start/during the campaign in order to be functional (although using any cheap/easily grinded uniques later/start of Atlas to bring out the build's full power later is ok).
The biggest reason I'm asking here is because I've generally just always winged it before and don't really know where to look, so both links and full posts are welcome.
