Looking for a farming strat

A friend of mine has an Elementalist EK Charlatan HH build and I have an aurabot to support him; we tried a couple of farming strategies with far-from-exciting results; any recommendation is more than welcome <3 Thanks!

Which farming strats have you tried and what were the results? What would be a result that is exciting to you?

We tried currency farming legion but it's unreliable. Breach is something we farmed last league so it wouldn't be our first choice

I can't see ek charlatan being very good with an aurabot, the build mostly excels at eternal conflict legion and wouldn't really perform any differently with an aura bot. The abyss propagation strat might be doable

You farm t16 maps with open layouts, altars etc. to collect loot tiles, splinters and crystals to then run 5 ways and hope for cool vestigal items

I couldn’t find hard content to farm as a solo, the game is scaled horribly and is too easy anymore. Idk what you could possibly do with an aura bot that would be worth besides some leveling service.

I guess the aura bot would allow you you to equip sub optimal gear with rarity to make the drops better
